Also you have forgotten one thing most of the bios settings defaults comes with secure boot option on condition so you can't boot via pendrive in uefi mode in that case u need to turn off secure boot option and the boot the pendrive
Secure boot doesn’t mean you can’t boot in UEFI atleast in modern motherboard
