    I put 80wt shock oil in my front shocks and that helped me a lot. With the LCG and a set of sway bars would make it even better. Great video

    What we need is a diff with some thick fluid to try and lock it up a bit, not completely locked, but more like and lsd. I have traxxas pink springs in the front to help with roll and I’m planning to install a low cg chassis so that should help, but these aren’t going to do much other than having some kind of roll bars and an lsd diff would make a huge difference to not having the inside tire lift up. I actually have trouble braking when turning because the inside wheel picks up and just locks that one without actually slowing the other wheel down.

      Thanks! For a little while i did. But I have a ton of crawlers that are way more capable than that. Also my channel is really heading in a different direction from the crawlers. People want to see build videos, Xmaxx videos and top speed videos so it doesn’t really make sense putting any money into crawlers if nobody gonna watch the content. I do actually already have the Axial scx10 II Jeep Wrangler Rubicon which I think looks pretty cool 😎

    Wow! That makes a huge difference in stability and handling. No need of that shock mod hack I shared with you with that LCG chassis it appears. I'm tempted of late to buy a second 2wd Slash, maybe if I do I'll put the LCG on one for a side by side comparison.

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would be pretty awesome! I still might mess with the shocks...either switch them out or put heavier weight oil in them.

  • @charliemaybe

    I don’t run low voltage on the ecu, I have a lipo alarm that works great. It beeps when it detects a low voltage so that could fix the issue without trashing your batteries

    If you want to fix the body roll you need fr/rr sway bars.

  • @konfyoused
    @konfyoused 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You've probably done a lot since this video, but 2 things that stand out to me as far as handling improvements, are getting a swaybar kit, and going to heavier oil in the diff.

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Planetary differentials don’t have oil in them. I did address the handling by changing the shocks and doing a fuel line hack to help reduce body roll

    I think if use put some stiffer Springs on the front and maybe some sway bars on the rear it should clean it up a bit in the turns

    • @AlineaEuros
      @AlineaEuros 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      no, mine still tips, you will have to stiffen the springs, and even then it will still tip, from there, you should add sway bars or lower the height, the 2wd slash won't do well on payment unless you modify it specifically for on road use and you will sacrifice some off road use over it.

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AlineaEuros I would agree that the 2wd slash isn’t the greatest on pavement. Stiffening up the suspension would help eliminate some of that body roll

  • @cbdfpv

    You gotta change the shock oil. If you want to stop the tipping. You could have spent less then $20 in shock oil and way less time on the install. Then the $40 you spent on a lcg chassis and the time to swap over all the parts. I can turn full speed with NO tipping. FYI

  • @AlineaEuros
    @AlineaEuros 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    would recommend either add some sway bars or lower the ride height, add stiffer springs and heavier oil on the shocks, the slash will run worse off road this way but it should not tip over atleast so easily at high speeds on payment.

    Maybe stiffer springs or shocks upfront same like long travel once you have Enough pounds force to the ground you can eliminate sway bar

      This doesn’t have sway bars though.

    • @Mrjazzzery
      @Mrjazzzery 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      More of a reason to put stiffer springs... on a Tacoma you need at least 600lbs per side of downward force to keep from rolling the vehicle other wise you need a sway bar

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Mrjazzzery shouldn’t a Toyota Tacoma have sway bars regardless?

    • @Mrjazzzery
