Joker technically has the fastest loading victory screen. In his special final smash version when the “GAME” text appears it instantly shows the waving flag animation and the placements of the players. Although the image was already onscreen

The one Mario map with all the pipes is pretty bad as well. At least with other maps, there’s some fun chaos factor that can fuck players over in pretty funny ways, but this one is just so boring even with the stupid little crabs and turtles.

Did you know? Pyra has an audio issue when wielding the death sheathe. Basically, right when she’s charging, she grunts before she slashes. That means when she does the actual slash, she’s silent. Oddly, it only happens with Pyra.

When they die in stamina mode, they have the same death animation that they do in Splatoon as well with their spirits leaving the splattered mess that is their former bodies. I don’t remember if this was covered or not already but, the more you know. SPLATOON 3 HYPE!!!!

3 Facts Sephiroth's Final Smash:
Supernova has a chance of automatically KOing Jigglypuff because of the Shield Break. This is the only time a Final Smash is lethal to a specific character.
Supernova is the second Final Smash to give off a random side effect. The first being Luigi's Negativa Zone.
It's possible to make sure Supernova always launches instead of Side Effects. Supernova always launches when an opponent is not above a stage or platform.
And since Luigi's Final Smash was changed to the Poltergust, Supernova is currently the only Random Side Effect Final Smash in Ultimate.

Japanese doesn't have anything _remotely close_ to a "th" sound, both ways which Byleth is spelled as, are common ways to still sort of "depict" it. The two different sound are somewhat masculine and feminine respectively, but in a way which doesn't actually change what the name actually is.

Here's another thing I've noticed that you could probably add in future videos to this series;
Some character's image and costume images loads faster than others during the Fighter select screen. For example, I've noticed Chrom will load faster than most characters for some reason.

I'm pretty sure that in several Castlevania games and the show you could still see Alucard's reflection in mirrors. I just wonder why they decided to not allow him on that stage yet still allow him to appear on sunny stages (he can be in sunlight the games too, but still). Fun attention to an odd detail, I guess.

(Fun fact: Rex is the first spirit to ever get their spirit ability in-game to be changed, meaning that it's possible for the smash team to change the ability of spirits if they want to)

Byleth being pronounced that way is just using the Roman "real" pronunciation. Both other names are just what happens when you convert them into Japanese to hugely oversimplify lol. I think the implication is that technically Byleth's name should be Byleth for for female and Bylet for male but pronounced exactly the same in English (so they just wrote them both the same as not to confuse people). I'm not positive though since at the end of the day the creators are the only people that actually know.
Here's a useless fact: the way Sephiroth's wing looks is actually original to Kingdom Hearts! In the original game, he only has one wing during the final boss, and it looks completely different from in Smash.
So... Kingdom Hearts is technically in Smash, I guess... That's cool!

fun fact: in the Korean version, the announcer pronounces Lucina (루키나, Rukina) and King K. Rool (킹크루루, Kingkeururu) like in the Japanese version, but Simon (사이먼, Saimeon) and Richter (릭터, Rikteo) are pronounced like in the English version
also the Chinese versions use the Japanese version voice clips for everything, which is ironic considering Simon and Richter's names are left in English in those versions
also the different gender Byleth names thing also applies to Korean (벨레트/벨레스, Belleteu/Belleseu) and Chinese (traditional: 貝雷特/貝雷絲; simplified: 贝雷特/贝雷丝, Bèiléitè/Bèiléisī); they are still both called "Byleth" like Japanese in both cases

In regard to the Odyssey ship having the wrong moon count, there's actually a skip in the game that you can preform using the painting in Sand Kingdom. The painting takes you to a far off area in Metro kingdom that's supposed to be too far to reach the mainland with. However, if you preform a skip called a CRC (Cappy Return Cancel) you can send cappy flying to a flagpole on the mainland of the kingdom and make it there before actually getting 55 moons. This would make the stage in smash fully possible, however when you use the skip because you haven't traveled there yet the odyssey isn't actually there lol. Just wanted to point it out!

It's possible to access Metro kingdom way earlier using a specific route of paintings, so you don't need all the necessary moons to get to Metro kingdom. Though if I remember, it also leaves the Odyssey inaccessible for a while, so the point still stands.
I think the reason they couldn't give Cloud his Advent Children artwork for a spirit because they might be trying to avoid implementing anything regarding of movie or tv shows that much. Probably why there are no Ash-Greninja spirit.

Ash Greninja seemed like it was planned to be used in the games and was implemented in Sun/Moon. If you want to be technical, Lucario appeared in a movie prior to any game appearance, I could see Pichu being the same

(6:20) My guess is that's the full image originally made for the game, which was then cropped down as needed. Making the original image extend further than planned allows them to adjust where the final cropping should occur; alternatively that they wanted to show the images taller originally.

If anyone wants more info on the Byleth fact
The reason they use the “Byleth” voice clip instead of separate Bereto and Beresu voice clips is because the name Byleth ends with a “th” sound. Japanese has no phonetic “th” sound, so when English words are converted to Japanese, you gotta get creative when writing the word. So Bereto and Beresu (pronounced Beres, u’s are typically dropped at the end of words) are both ways you could translate the name Byleth into Japanese, despite sounding slightly different. So the announcer just saying “Byleth” works.
Unrelated, but on the topic of Japanese stuff in Smash Bros, Villager, Hero, and especially Isabelle are really unique in terms of names in the Japanese version. Every other character’s name is written in Katakana, except for those three. Villager and Isabelle’s names are written in Hiragana, and Hero is written in Kanji. Villager and Hero names are single word nouns, so they’re names are just that Japanese noun, Murahito and Yusha respectively. Hero’s name, Yusha is written in Kanji because Yusha can also mean some who’s superior, so the Kanji helps avoid any confusion. Isabelle’s name on the other hand is Shizue in the Japanese version, and unlike every other character, her name is written in Hiragana because Shizue is a proper Japanese name, and of the entire roster she’s the only one with a proper Japanese name.

you can get toMetro Kingdom with only 21 moons in the odyssey by going into the painting at the desert kingdom and doing a Cappy Return Cancel. You can even collect enough moons to complete the kingdom and be able to move on to the next world, thus skipping night metro. This is done in the minimum captures speedrun of the game.
While that is true, the Odyssey itself won't actually appear in the kingdom when you do this, so it's still incorrect that it appears in the background with only 21 moons.

Same is true for S and K. And word with a C is read as a K sound, but they changes it to an S in english because that's how the english language works

Technically it's possible to get to Metro Kingdom with 21 moons, since you can cross the gap between the Sand Kingdom's painting area and the mainland using Cappy Return Canceling. The issue, though, is that the Odyssey doesn't come with you.
