About 2 months ago the doctor prescribed me lisinopril and my diet was awful. Then I had a hospital scare with my chest but the nurses took xray and ekg and cct scan and saw everything was fine with my lungs and heart but my blood pressure was through the roof. They told me to take lisinopril right away. Then i started keto and started taking lisinopril but The side effects were awful: tightness in chest , difficulty breathing, and unbearable nausea with dizziness and constant tiredness and horrible cough . i prayed to Jesus and asked him to help me to get off lisinopril because it felt like i was being poisined. Sure enough going on third day of being off it, i feel better and no trouble breathing and my blood pressure is better and i havent even stopped eating salt. Just keto and taking walks and im already down about 25 lbs in the first month. Glory to Jesus Christ, i never wanna go back on that poisin again.
I wound up one night in the er with angioedema. This is 1 side effect of Lisinopril. My airwave almost closed. After 2 nebulizer treatments I was breathing a lot better. The Dr said I almost died and told me to throw away my Lisinopril..I did. That was last November. My blood pressure is perfect. I've changed my diet, started exercising more and I feel energetic. LISINOPRIL has been no problem. My friend who I met when I was 10 years old. “ married his sister 38 years later” . He didn’t like how his meds made him feel. He threw them in a drawer …18 months later he suffered a heart attach in his sleep . You need to find something that works whatever it takes.
Lisinopril caused a gagging, dry throated, choking cough that was constant around the clock. It kept me up at night. Eventually I switched doctors and HE immediately described 'lisinopril cough' as a known side effect in some people. A week after taking me off it, the cough went away.
Does zinc depletion cause numbing and tingling in the thighs because that is what i experience when i am standing for awhile. I have been on Lisinopril 20mg daily for years
My doctor for the past year, who speaks highly of Dr. Berry, has told me to check my blood pressure when I get up and not take lisinopril unless it’s sufficiently high. It hasn’t been high enough in months. I’ve been a type 1 diabetic since 1970. I take 50 mg of zinc daily despite no lisinopril now.
Good to know! I've been on Lisinopril for a number of years, but I've taken a zinc supplement even longer and continue to do so to try and boost my immune system due to allergies and seasonal events like flu.
I took lisinopril for about 3 or 4 years. And I decided that it was not doing me any good.Because my blood pressure still spiked so I stopped taking it. I have a told my doctor that but it's my decision after all. Now i'm glad I did stop.
Believe it or not, Lisinopril will damage the kidneys instead of protecting them. It lowers GFR. Lisinopril is snake venom synthesized from the Brazilian Pit Viper's venom. Decades ago scientists noticed the snake killed its prey by lowering the blood pressure after injecting it with venom. It also causes psychosis, confusion, hallucinations, etc. No telling how many people are currently locked up in insane asylums right now with a misdiagnosis of Schizophrenia, when it's really Lisinopril. I heard about a woman who was psychotic for 7 years and being treated with handfuls of psychiatric meds for Schizophrenia. After a family member read online that Lisinopril can cause psychosis, the woman was taken off the drug, and her psychosis went away 2 days later. To ensure it was the Lisinopril causing her problem, they put her back on it briefly and the psychosis returned. The drug literature says these side effects only occur in 0.1%, but the drug companies are the ones doing the safety studies. They know the FDA won't approve a drug if the bad side effects are common, so they'll rig the studies showing that the side effects are uncommon and almost non existent.
Great video, quick and to the point. I’m a carnivore and try to eat lots of beef and pork so I hope that’s enough. I’m hoping to get off the meds ASAP.
My hubby was on Lisinopril for about 4 years, after a heart attack brought on by dehydration and over-working while cutting down and loading a tree in a neighbor's yard. The doctor kept trying to say that he would be on heart meds for the rest of his life (WRONG), and that the tests were normal and nothing to worry about (WRONG AGAIN). I read up on Lisinopril and its side effects. Toxic liver damage, mineral depletion, joint pain etc etc. I immediately got milk thistle, Co-Q 10, hawthorn, & zinc to add to hubby's morning vitamins. Also, hubby was an outlier and had a reaction that the doctor had never heard of - Deep & Profound Sleep, with inability to be woken as well as cyclical breathing. That is his breathing would be deep and strong on the first breath, shallower and softer with each progressive breath, until he would miss a breath, only to do a deep inhale on the next breath. We cut the lowest dose of Lisinopril into 1/4's and he still had this breathing problem. I discovered that his love of fresh ground black pepper was linked to his strange reactions. Seems in Ayurvedic & Oriental medicines, pepper id a multiplier and increases potency of meds & supplements. Hubby has been off off all prescribed meds for over 8 years, never had a C-Pap machine , and is doing great.
Thanks for sharing it's very good to know :) Black pepper makes tiny holes in the intestine and so anything you ingest with it will go straight into the bloodstream without being filtered, so it's pretty dangerous because if there are bacteria they go through too. Now luckily the pepper is so toxic it also tends to kill the bacteria but still, also it kills all bacteria meaning the beneficial gut bacteria that's the base of your immune system gets killed too. So if you love black pepper have it once in a while but don't use it daily it's pretty unhealthy.
I have been on a daily Lisinopril - HCTZ 10-12.5mg for over 30 years, for high blood pressure. I have tried unsuccessfully to stop taking it, but after two to three day's I begin to get frequent headaches and some migraines. I have had many family physicians, and none have mentioned taking zinc. They do tell me this medication is really good for your heart.
I have taken Lisinopril since I was 40 (now 63). I truly believe it is why I have hand tremors. My Doctor doesn't think the two are related but I am not on any other medication. I'd love to get off it to see.
I took Lisinipril for perhaps 4 or 5 years. One day I woke up and my mouth felt peculiar, like I slept face down on my pillow and my lips swelled up. Over the course of the day the swelling got worse and I put ice on my face. After I got home from work my lips felt like they were contracting making it harder to open my mouth. I went to the walk in clinic where I had been 10 days earlier for an allergic reaction to a bug bite. The doctor I saw was the same one I had seen 10 days earlier. She saw the swelling of my lips as soon as she entered the room even with my full beard. She went to call in a prescription for steroids and an antihistamine for an anaphalactic reaction and when she came back to the room told me to stop taking the Lisinipril because it is common to react like that after taking it for several years. Funny thing is I was taking it to protect my kidneys but my blood pressure was higher while taking the Lisinipril than it is without it. I also carry an Epi pen now since I had 4 reactions to different things in 6 weeks time.
Same thing happened to me with lisinopril, took for years, wound up calling an ambulance tongue swelled so much, crazy, and also became allergic to stuff after that, never had an allergy in my life before that
@@petbo13 sorry to hear that bc it’s an alarming reaction that happened to my ex twice. I understand the 1st time; the nurses asked as soon we got in the ER if he took Lisinipril for his high blood pressure & he said yes. When he came back to my house a few months later with the same symptoms, it was hard to believe his doctor hadn’t changed his medication. He & I help each other bc we are disabled differently, so I had called & assured his clinic got the ER results immediately after his first reaction, then helped him to find a new primary care provider after the second ER visit. Hopefully neither of you will ever injest whatever ingredient caused the reactions again. He has had allergies since, too, which he never had. I’m the one who always had to keep Benadryl Dye Free handy. Sorry again because I understand. GBU both going forward. ~
I'm a newly diagnosed Diabetic #2, taking lisinipril at 75 y/o, incidentally, the Doctor who delivered me was named Dr. Berry, that was St. Bernard Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I'm taking Jardiance once every morning.
I was on lisinopril for years. Lots of issues. Finally got advice from my urologist. Go see cardiologist. Been just fine ever since. Most primary care physicians have no idea about heart issues. Mine did not!
Thank you Dr. Berry. Once again your bright ideas are pointing out some crucial information. As someone who takes one of these, I'll be sure to supplement. You're now my unofficial official doctor.
Thanks, Doc! I stopped using 10 mg Lisinopril and 40 mg Atorvistatin some months ago. I started using 30 mg zinc a while back after seeing an internet doctor's advice. Until then, I spent the previous several months, maybe even a year, waking up to pee after 3 or so hours every single night. Since using the zinc, I usually get 5 to 7 hours until getting up.
Started Taking zinc and noticed a difference within seven days . I’m on lisinopril 40mg. I no longer get up in the middle of the night to the bathroom around 3 AM. I can get a solid at 5 to 7 hours sleep
I had a doc who gave me Lisinopril and lisartin at same time after a year my body's strength and balance deteriorated after the first two visits to ER in 24 hrs I stopped taking them . With drawls were ugly . After two more times I changed doctors because at fallow up he prescribed them again !!!!

Speaking of mineral deficiency, if you have high blood pressure and chronically low potassium (especially if you eat a potassium rich diet and/or potassium supplements and still have low potassium), have yourself checked for primary aldosteronism. It’s a hormonal imbalance usually caused by a benign tumor in an adrenal gland that overproduces the hormone. It can be diagnosed with a (nonstandard) blood test, and confirmed with a CT scan. It can then be treated with medication (shifting your BP meds to spironolactone), or surgery (removing the faulty adrenal gland). I went through this myself. Once diagnosed, changing my meds dropped my BP by 20 points, and got my potassium into the low end of “normal” range for the first time in 15 years. 11 months later, I had the surgery. Now my BP and potassium levels are totally normal, and I cannot adequately describe how much better I feel. I told my surgeon I felt he’d added ten years to my life, and he said “Probably, at least”. He thinks aldosteronism is the cause of 5-10% of all severe hypertension, and that’s the mainstream view among surgeons who treat it. That means this condition, which is easy to diagnose and easy to treat (even cure!), that hardly anyone has ever heard of, may kill as many people as common cancers, traffic accidents, or suicide.
I agree. My mothers doctors gave her this and she got very worn down. Mainstream doctors gave too many patients and this is what happens. I have not taken prescription meds because they are trouble. I will not take prescription meds because they contributed to the death of both my mother and father. I no longer trust doctors who are quick to write scripts instead of getting to the root of the cause, which is always, diet and cortisol stress levels. Today times require Functional doctors. And, we don't need doctors that "forget" and put us in jeopardy because of their forgetfulness or because they are in a hurry to get to another patient.
Yup I don't trust doctors anymore. I got blood clots in my legs from taking this poison. They immediately told me to stop taking Lisinopril and start taking Zink. These doctors and drugs ruined my life
Zinc blocks the RNA replicase which is how hydroxchloquine works by transporting a zinc ion through the cell membrane. That might explain why ACE inhibitors worsen the infection outcome.
I was on lisinapril for years and from the time I started taking it my kidneys started failing I ended up in the hospital for two and a half months for a bad infection and they took me off of all my meds and my kidneys started improving just before I was released they started the lisinapril again and the kidneys reacted . I've been off lisinapril for 7 years now and my kidneys are functioning at 100%
I just happened to find out I was low in zinc. I ordered Taste n' Score zinc, but as of late, I eat plenty of zinc-rich foods. I know I'm good because Taste n' Score zinc no longer tastes sweet.
I took Accupril for years then switched to Lisinopril. BP was always good but took meds for migraine and headaches. Almost completely stopped. I also take 2, 1a day vitamins. Excess vitamins , if not needed by body are excreted. Feel great, relatively healthy at 72. Works for me.
My late husbands doctor started him on Lisinpril 6 months before he died. He was having different negative reactions and I kept calling his doctors but they wouldn’t listen to me or my husband. The doctors had him taking a dozen different pills daily and I believed all these pills contributed to his heart attack.
wizkidsvideos I totally understand. My late husband went through the same thing. His doctor had him on 80mg of lasix for over a year. I think it contributed to his heart attack
Thank you for sharing this. I am so sorry for your loss. I am recently on Lisinopril (since open heart surgery 4 months ago) and I have a constant cough and keep thinking the Lisinopril might be the cause of that! Thank you again.
My husband had been on Lisinopril and we had no idea of the things that could happen. He worked in extremely hot environment; 105 heat index and above. He was hydrating but apparently not enough. His blood pressure dropped extremely low. We went to urgent care. They hooked up an IV. He then started having seizure like symptoms and passed out. We then went by ambulance to the hospital. His kidneys were only functioning at 8%. This was an extremely upsetting incident. We now really look at the meds we take closely.
Friend of mine had the same issue with his kidneys because of Lisinopril. Drs took him off immediately and put him on amlopidine. This drug is supposed to be used ONLY for congestive heart failure. Do some research on it. Apparently has snake venom in it.
It's no wonder Lisinopril causes all these problems, because it's snake venom from the Brazilian pit viper. Scientists noticed years ago that the snake killed its prey by the venom lowering the blood pressure until the heart stopped. They synthesized the venom in the lab and figured the dosage that a person could take to lower BP without killing them.
Been taking lisinopri for several years, Keto 2.5 years and coming up on Carnivore at 4 months, taking Zink from time to time, but will start taking more.
The last 2 doctors I've been to had ignorant assistants that each upon hearing I take lisinopril "assumed" it was for blood pressure (for kidneys as type 1 diabetic) even after I explained it, and in both instances noted "high blood pressure" in my digital chart to this day won't remove it! Sorry, that was off subject, fortunately have never had a prob with taking it for over 40 yrs.
One visit I spoke to him about weight. He included that in my chart. 5'8 180..57 y.o Athletic. bmi 25% exactly mine says I'm obese lolol. they wont remove it.
I take Ramipril to protect kidneys from type 2 diabetes. Thanks for the info. Will look into it more. The good news is I am slowly getting rid of type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, nsulin resistance, and obesity Thanks for what you do!
Thank you so much for this information! I'm on lisinipril and still high BP, so doc added metropolol to "work with" the lisinipril. AND A diuretic. I had bad reactions to those 3 together, so stopped the 2 newer ones. I now take a higher dose of zinc as i wasn't taking enough. If it works, I'll prolly send you a ❤ message.
My doctor put me on lisinopril for high blood pressure and after taking it for a couple of weeks l began to have problems with my heart racing. I've never had a problem with my heart racing before taking this drug and as soon as l stopped talking it no more racing heart. Very scary.
I was on it for years and never heard anything pertaining to zinc. Slowly separating my ties with the doctor I've had for over 20 years. The organization she's affiliated with is no longer focused on healing people. Very sad.
Lisinopril caused me to have a very scratchy throat, and affected my ability to swallow. When I reported it to my PCP, she said that is one of the primary side-effects listed in the human trials, and so I was taken off of it and my throat problems stopped. Maybe zinc deficiency causes the throat problem - but I was never told it was.
I took Lisinipril for several years but had to quit when they briefly put me on Geodon. They reacted with each other and I became allergic to both. I am now on Losartan. I've been on them to protect my kidneys from my diabetic medications.
I am taking 30 mg of Lisinopril for many many years and at first had a slight cough every now and then,, I was recently diagnosed with MM cancer at age 67, now I dont have a cough and still take Lisinopril, I lost 23 lbs this last summer and my blood pressure has went down 20 points...
I use Centrum Silver, it has 36mg of Zinc which is 133% of the USDA of Zinc. Been taking this supplement for 20 years, and my doctor says my blood level needs are perfect. I am at 63 years old, and I recommend this vitamin supplement.
Well, I am going by my doctor's advice, she knows what she is talking about. Besides, the makers of Centrum Silver have doctor and science knowledge behind them. I am sure they do know what they are talking about. Are you a doctor, or drug research analyst??
ohh im so glad i happened to find this vid you have posted ive been taking lisipril now for like 6 years for high blood pressure and had no idea it depleted zinc here recently my bp has been spikeing into areas i wont talk of and seems like my edema has got worse after taking one dose of zinc i could tell i big difference on edema and hopefully will put my bp back where it needs to be with it spiking thanks for posting this
Why do physicians place their patients on these meds and not tell them the risks? I’ve been on Lisinopril for a few months and looking to switch because of the side effects. Not until I became sick did I start to do my homework in what I’m taking and the findings are very scary. Nothing was said to me about all this. I had to look the information up. Not all patients do this. They trust their physicians. People need to take charge of their health.
Thanks Dr. Ken for all the wealth of knowledge you share with us as so many are not aware of these items you discuss?Sadly I have been taking a lot of supplements (magnesium, zink, potassium, fish oils, COQ10, C, B12. D3 and others you recommended because of my type 2 meds deplete my system of certain nutrients. Not to mention much of the foods today lack nutrients and with this Virus issue finding the proper foods is a ongoing issue so I have to do what I can and supplement the differences. Enjoy your videos thanks for sharing keep them coming.
Thank you for this. 31 year old here with CHF I take entresto (valsartan/sucubitril) combo as my Ace inhibitor. I started taking co Q 10 long ago when you first mentioned it and Ive been taking zinc. My doctor never mentioned the depletion of zinc so I'm glad you put this out. Could you go over beta blockers and weight loss? I've heard it can slow the process down. Can we do anything to bypass this aside from not taking the therapy medication?
I was taking a beta blocker for my high blood pressure. I was on Tartinate and the doctor switched me to Succinate which brought my weight loss to a complete stand still. This year I got him to get me off of Metroprolol but he put me on a low dose of ace inhibiter. So you will have to really do your research, but I finally found articles in PubMed that were written about the increase of Insulin in beta blockers which will prevent weight loss. The Ace inhibitor is only better for me as I no longer get so dizzy that I fall over when my blood pressure goes too low. Still working on getting off the medication but I am losing weight again.
Everyone I know, including myself, who is or was taking Lisinopril, had some sort of allergic reaction from it. It made my throat want to close up. I immediately stopped taking it.
A new doc put me on lisinoprol after high BP readings in ER after accident crushing my lower arm. Surgery a week later. More high stress and fear plus family issues at same time. And for weeks later. All I could think of was my BP and ❤️. Anxiety. Prescribed a stress test it was fine but fear anxiety raised BP. Upped lisinoprol from 5 to 20 mg. Side affects and more anxiety. I have been low carbish since 2011 and keto 2 years. Great shape and energy for 72 Yo woman. BMI went from 39 to 24. I don’t think I need this lisinoprol and NO warning of side effects. All these readings taken during stress and anxiety times. Lost a loved one. Even readings at home very inconsistent. I put machine away and much calmer. What should I do. I don’t need these drugs I’m sure.
MrOldclunker well yeah. I know that but doc berry had a video that questioned the prescribing of BP meds simply during a time of stress with no past history of hypertension so I do have the RIGHT to question this. I have moved past this extreme stress and need to know. Many are put on drugs they don’t need simply to fulfill a diagnostic checklist put out by medical boards or ffing insurance companies and big pharma. I have been suspicious about this whole episode and WILL take this into my own hands if necessary. But thanks for your reply. Remember the book dr berry has written. I don’t give a fig if doc doesn’t like it now. New research shows that there is NO benefit nor lower mortality to keep pushing BP below even 140 with increasing meds. The risks of the meds increase past the benefits. Dr Malcolm mckendrick for one agrees. This lowering and lowering of baselines are just like the statin debacle. More people on meds. Many unnecessarily. I demand to know. 😀 we have to become our own advocates these days. Researching important as the medical profession is almost the LAST to change. Dr berry will agree I sure.
Thank you Dr Berry. I've just been put on Lisinopril and have been diagnosed with NAFLD, since this medicine has been said to harm the liver should there be any other concerns other than mineral depletion?
A few years ago my doctor put me on Lisinopril. I thought I was going to die while on that crap. I didn't know what was going on with me. I told my doctor and she switched me to Losartan.
I take several ace inhibitors so does my husband...were are very concerned about the covid 19 and the interactions of binding..I have dropped 140 pounds on keto have maintained 13 years but am struggling to loose 20 pounds I put back on at Christmas ....last year I was off all meds except thyroid replacement. Lately since menapause hit.. I struggle maintaining normal k+ and magnesium and vitamin D ..crazy they all were low last blood draw...Get old isnt fun😥
Please check with your doctor. You should only be on 1 ACE inhibitor medication but this is often used in combination with other classes of BP medications.
Been on linsinapril and amolodiprin for high bp for 7 years. Did have a nasty cough, just could not stop in morning. During day it would happen also. Change diet to carnivore mid june, cough gone as are bp meds. Bp is now 135 to 145 /70/80.
Do NOT be afraid to tell your Dr you want to change your meds. Mone got made at me when i asked to switch from Lisinopril to Losartan...BP was better after the change and no Lisinopril side effects. No coughing, hair loss stopped. Had been on Lisinopril for YEARS...glad i made her switch me.

Nope, my dr never mentioned this to me and I take lisinopril for kidney protection. Thanks Dr B!!
That's what I'm taking it for also.
Thanks for the share :)
Your comment is an eye opener! I really appreciate it too because there's nothing like experience to learn from. Glad he's doing well!!!
Thanks for sharing it's very good to know :)
Black pepper makes tiny holes in the intestine and so anything you ingest with it will go straight into the bloodstream without being filtered, so it's pretty dangerous because if there are bacteria they go through too.
@Dr Leo I'm sure you prescribe a lot of meds and have now idea how to actually heal anything.
Hi, Thank you for sharing your fascinating story! What brand of Co-Q10 does your husband take? Cheers :)
I like your quick and short videos the best.
@@1g1d1w he recommended to eat food that contains zinc if you don’t want to take a zinc supplement.
That reaction is called angioedema and you should never take any drug in the ACE Inhibitor category.
Thank you, just recently I have started having High BP... I also had no idea that I may be low in Zinc... This is the first time I saw this!!
Wow... I'm on daily Lisinopril and something told me recently to start taking zinc... zinc orotate 30mg, specifically. 👍 Thx for the heads-up, Dr. B!!
I’ve been on Lisinopril for over 5 years and have never heard about this! Never had made zinc checked by any of my doctors. Thanks so much Dr Berry.
I like these shorter information dense videos! Thanks!
I was on lisinopril for years. Lots of issues. Finally got advice from my urologist. Go see cardiologist. Been just fine ever since. Most primary care physicians have no idea about heart issues. Mine did not!
Time saver. He recommends you start a diet rich in zinc and/or a zinc supplement at 2:06. He also recommends taking Coenzyme Q10
how much are the paying him?
My problem too. Will try.
Started Taking zinc and noticed a difference within seven days . I’m on lisinopril 40mg. I no longer get up in the middle of the night to the bathroom around 3 AM. I can get a solid at 5 to 7 hours sleep
I wonder if our Doctors are on the Med Pill Companies payroll.
I will try this!!! 😊
Zinc. You are welcome.
@@charlesspringer4709 thanks! I came here for this comment!🥰

Appreciated it!
I had a doc who gave me Lisinopril and lisartin at same time after a year my body's strength and balance deteriorated after the first two visits to ER in 24 hrs I stopped taking them . With drawls were ugly . After two more times I changed doctors because at fallow up he prescribed them again !!!!
@@adhdrebel982 what did you do to replace the lisinopril?

You provided good information, thx
Most meds deplete the important B complex vitamins. Especially b1, b6. And bentofiamine and b6 are very important in bodily organ functions. Jean.
These doctors and drugs ruined my life
Lisinopril caused me to ugly cough (when it happened in public, people were horrified). Got off that rather quickly!
Pure gold nuggets! Thumbs up and subscribed!
I appreciate concise & to the point videos. Thank You
You are welcome!
I've been off lisinapril for 7 years now and my kidneys are functioning at 100%
I been taking it for years ,and never had any issues with it .
I just happened to find out I was low in zinc. I ordered Taste n' Score zinc, but as of late, I eat plenty of zinc-rich foods. I know I'm good because Taste n' Score zinc no longer tastes sweet.
I take Lisinopril for HBP and I'm glad I stumbled across this video. Thanks Doc.
I’m so sorry
@@openbutterflies It CAN cause a cough.
I have been taking lisinopril for 20 years. One of the best they have.
Been taking lisinopril over 10 years.......no problems.
Made me cough
Wow and thanks again, as always, you are the doc I wish I had here good sir. Be well!
Thank you, Doc; I’m taking both as supplements, but needed to know how much to take with my hypertension and diabetic Rxs!
I found that the best source of zinc is meats--especially oysters. Legumes are also a pretty good source.
I wonder if finding an attorney is necessary, having your chart be correct is very important.
Val...send a certified letter to Dr. Stating your request and put cc (carbon copy) and your lawyers name to which you send him a copy of the letter
Dr. Ken, what about ARBs? Thank you!
I took lisinopril and had heart murmur’s for years until a cardiologist put me on Bisoprolol and never went back
Thank you so much for this information!
What is our recommendation for the amount of Zinc.
Very sad.
Been taking Zestrol then Lisinopril
34 yrs no problems 10 mg the whole time
Lisinopril caused me to cough like a seal.
I wish he was my Doctor!!
Thanks this important information.
Prefer short videos. Just the facts. Going to check my zinc. Been taking an ACE for a long time. Thanks Dr. Berry. You are berry, berry helpful.💕😆😻

What is MM?

I use Centrum Silver, it has 36mg of Zinc which is 133% of the USDA of Zinc. Been taking this supplement for 20 years, and my doctor says my blood level needs are perfect. I am at 63 years old, and I recommend this vitamin supplement.
The USDA recommended daily allowance for zinc is 11 mg, Steve. Taking 36 mg daily, as you do, is a 327% daily mega-dose!
Well, I am going by my doctor's advice, she knows what she is talking about. Besides, the makers of Centrum Silver have doctor and science knowledge behind them. I am sure they do know what they are talking about. Are you a doctor, or drug research analyst??
I had a bad cough with lisinopril
`Me too. I just quit two weeks ago and the cough finally went away. It was a severe enough cough to make me worry about a stroke.
ohh im so glad i happened to find this vid you have posted ive been taking lisipril now for like 6 years for high blood pressure and had no idea it depleted zinc here recently my bp has been spikeing into areas i wont talk of and seems like my edema has got worse after taking one dose of zinc i could tell i big difference on edema and hopefully will put my bp back where it needs to be with it spiking thanks for posting this
Very short but loaded with great info... thx
Wow I now need to start taking a Zinc supplement.
THANK YOU Dr. Berry! So grateful for your educational videos.
What are the side effects zinc deficiency?
Great tip!
This video can be very helpful to so many people
I had a major reaction from it .. I refuse it. My body reacts to most prescription drugs .. I chose carefully.
Thanks , I have been on 20mg Lisinopril for over 10 yrs , my BP IS AROUND 157/97 IT FLUCTUATES DURING THE DAY , WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND??
If testing can't tell if you need or are taking too much zinc how do we know how much? You didn't specify.
