Dump trailers are a life saver! I just picked up a free dump trailer load of logs as well. Supposed to have a lot more for me in the next month or two. I know you guys can not wait for the new splitter to arrive, the only thing my new splitter is missing is the Hydraulic Pump. Keep up the good work.
Great Job! That is a lot of work especially in the HOT weather. As you probably realize this is a never ending job it will definitely keep you healthy. Have a great week, Take care, Mike
Maybe I don't need the countyline 40 ton! Looks like yours is quite capable and at close to half the price! And tractor supply wants you to caugh up a shipping fee if they don't have the splitter in stock. Right off the trailer is the way to go! Thanks for sharing!
Great teamwork. Be careful not to keep your hands laying on the piece as the ram comes through the wood. When you get tired, that habit could lead to pain. Ask me how I know.😉
read the news of heating oil prices in Europe and all the shortages of wood. You could cut/split firewood 7 days a week next 3 months and not have enough wood to meet demand. great year to buy a splitter like you did. Plus, youre not bulk saving time sensitive milk. Firewood w keep
From January to mid March is our cold months. It might get below 32 degrees for like 2 weeks. We don’t have a real fireplace. Happy 4th to you as well.
HEARING PROTECTION, HEARING PROTECTION. I am almost deaf at 49 because I never work ear protection running chainsaws, power tools etc. don’t make the mistake I did, please.

New subscriber here. What part of NC are you in ?
Welcome! High point nc
Will NC heat dry the oak out quicker than up north?
I’m not sure. I’ve only been doing this for 5 months. I would say the sun helps but idk how much.
Your safety boots are impressing - invisible kevlar?
Haha you can’t see them.
