The 37D is at least 2+ times faster than the Wolf Ridge unit. You guys really set a record. You had ideal rounds to split; a great log loader; an outstanding bucking deck; the most productive splitter; the chainsaw was more than adequate.
You betcha Dan, that is the only way to do it Team Work. Cutting Splitting, Sorting, and putting the Logs where they can get cut up. HUGE PILE OF FIREWOOD MY FRIEND. Looks like all OAK? Nice going on the Wood. Tomorrow I get to do my Hour of Cutting. Doing Rounds of OAK AND LOCUST. Putting them on a Pallet and covering with a Tarp. I still get very Tired but a little better every Week. Hope to tune in o Friday Nite Live, as I love to get to know everybody Better. Stay Safe my Friend. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg, NY.
Yep it was all Oak that we split and is in that pile. Enjoy your cutting tomorrow and glad to hear things are going well, just don't over do it...keep a nice easy pace. See you tomorrow night!
Hi Dan, that is such a pragmatic way to get max production without spending Mega $$ on a processor! Your buddy could upgrade a bit though by fixing a couple of rotary vibrating motors beneath the steel bucking table gutter! Set to rotate towards the splitter, controlled with a foot switch, they would easily shuffle rounds towards the splitter on demand. Len (Devon 🇬🇧)
Dan you finally got to see a real saw cut😂 a Husqvarna 592XP👍 I here you need to swap out the 7 pin stock sprocket to an 8 pin to stop it from bouncing off the rev limiter it has so much power. I need to try that on mine.
That is a lot of firewood right there!! If Ms.Amanda had gone...It would have all been done but lunch time!💪 Sure good to see someone was able to relieve you from having to pull the levers all day long,Shifty!😓
My shoulder still hasn't fully recovered from the other day, AND by the end of this day I was barely able to drive home with both hands on the wheel. 🤣
Maybe make yours a tad shorter? The cut man is sure having to hold the saw up high on this table, and I bet a feller would feel that by the end of the day!👍
Not sure, but if you were looking to have consistency in the size of your final splits you would need to re-split with any other wedge style. And the pull back arm of the box wedge is much faster than manually doing it so without the box wedge I think it would be a much slower process.
Hi Dan Well that's a Much better Way to Buzz through the Long Logs and just have the 37 D Take Care of the Rest of the job 👍💯 it Seems more quicker that's Only because it was a 2 Max job 👍 and a Longer Chain Saw 🪚😢 just Let the 37 D Down 🤣 easy Try to Get Some fluids for the Old girl 🤩👍 kerosene and Bar 🤣 oil 🛢️ for the Smaller jobs
I liked the guy sorting wood at the end of the conveyor. Did it all with a cig in his mouth
Camel no filters no doubt
That was my fav part!
The real deal.

Great teamwork!! Lots of wood produced!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Wow!! Impressive
I'm assuming you're talking about the moving I did of the levers, so yes....and the rest of the process wasn't bad either! 🤣😆
Hahahaha, exactly !@@Back40Firewood
The bucking table is a must!
I'd call that a good days work done with the right tools and friends. Good job Dan. Stay safe.
Yes indeed Dan, Great Teamwork 👏🤘🏻🪵🇺🇸
Nice teamwork guys. That 37D really pumped out some firewood. Stay safe and have a great day…
There were a few knotty pieces that gave it a little struggle, but otherwise there was a constant flow of wood up the conveyors.
Speechless….that’s a first😀🤣🇺🇸.. great video of working together 👏🏻

That is EPIC firewood production. Now THAT is how to make firewood
Without a processor. 😉👍
It's crazy what happens when a couple hobbyists get together!
Nicely done fellas!
Thanks! Was a nice little process with a few guys, good flow that kept the wood moving.
That was a mountain of firewood produced by the 4 of you. Less talk and more work is certainly the way to get things done in a hurry.
Good production fellas! Imagine what could be produced in a full week!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

What an awesome setup. I will be purchasing my own 37d shortly.
What an incredibly well thought out mass production set up you have there! Kudos firewood masters!! I'm jealous.
Thanks...it really flowed well with 4 guys, but I think could also work with only 3.
Who needs a Eastonmade wood processor? Lol Damn that is kicking out some firewood now. Good job!
That would be so fun !
Awesome, 😎💯 I watched the video twice back to back!!😮🎉
Guys , this is a slick set up
Pretty slick operation with that teamwork
Now that was a busy day for you guys
Now that's a productive day 😉👍
INDEED...
hi there that was a real nice set up .what was the cords per man hour ? i like the table good staging ,john
Not sure, if I had to guess I'd say I did the most and the others were a ways behind for output per hour. 🤣😆🤣
hi there i have had dreams like that as well . john@@Back40Firewood
Good one, I really like the bucking rack.
Wow! Amazing!!👍💪💪
Savage set up
Wow!!
I think the best part was seeing you hop over that log lift lol.
Bill
Great process
Amazing
Great splitting man 👍
Very impressive

Ha...yes, yes I did. I ran that 592 a few times and it sure did make me realize that my 500i remains my go-to saw of choice! 😆🤣
Hello Dan, can you send some pictures on that cutting rack? That looks really useful.
I want that cutting table
Eastonmade 👍👌🇨🇦🇺🇸💪
The guy sorting need a tote to put the larger scaps for kindling bundles..
Dan, if you tilt up that bar table it could sort of act like grizzly bars. Maybe its too wide however.
Great set up really minimizes the hand touching of the wood
That is a very efficient operation for three people making at least 1 1/2 cord per hour.
What are you guys doing this weekend? Wanta come over??
Hahahaha....umm, let me check my schedule and get back to ya! 😆
@Back40Firewood 🤣🤣 If your buddy hadn't stepped in when he did...Little Boss Man might have had to come pick you up at the end of the day!😯
I gotta find the time to build a cutting table like that.
Maybe make yours a tad shorter? The cut man is sure having to hold the saw up high on this table, and I bet a feller would feel that by the end of the day!👍
After awhile the sawdust builds up and the table becomes shorter...lol
@@waynetharp I use a skid to get me up a little higher if needed depending on the job.
@@DaleFarrish-Dalbet 👍👍
WOW, what's not to like about any part of that operation!!!
Well one downside was having to listen to the barking of the Husky saws all day long...lol...other than that it was great!
I’m curious what is the specie of log and is there a market as a saw log for it and what is the price per thousand board foot?
How it done
👍👍👍💪🤝
Q… how would pizza wedge do on slabs
Very efficient cutting and splitting, stacking the wood in rows to properly dry will be the same old tedious job😮
🎉
A quiet Dan?!!? Thy never heardth of one!!🤯🤣
Hahahahahaha...I've been waiting for someone to comment on that! 🤣😆
@@Back40Firewood I snooped in the comments to see if anyone noticed or was shocked either. 🤣👍
💪💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍✊✊
That dude needs a processor!!
Ya gotta run that husky so ya know what quality feels like.
lol...I actually took a few turns running that saw and it did show me just that, that the 500i will remain as my go-to saw.
@@Back40Firewood touche , got me😅. Did you say b4 that wind knocked over his elevator and wrecked it? Noticed that's not the old New Idea one
Surely he needs a bigger bar on his saw!
Hot Dam
I definitely see how fast that huskabano cut not wood.
Imagine how fast it would be not using a box wedge.
Not sure, but if you were looking to have consistency in the size of your final splits you would need to re-split with any other wedge style. And the pull back arm of the box wedge is much faster than manually doing it so without the box wedge I think it would be a much slower process.
Sounds like you need to do a speed comparison video, to prove who is correct 😅
Re-run...
