DCS:A-10C Warthog - Sturmovik Campaign Mission 04: Use of GAU-8/A Cannon (Trimmed Walkthrough)

This campaign revolves around two A-10C stolen by the Russians, and is used for testing, evaluation, and later in combat. Originally made for Russian local language, but is subtitled for English. This is a trimmed playthrough, and will only show key events, mission dialogues, aircraft systems setups, and particular tasks for the missions.
This mission was meant to be a routine weapons employment test, however things took an unexpectedly turn as the forward HQ was blown up by Georgian commandos. I was tasked with locating and destroying their escape vehicle as they race for the border. Once found I gave them a good BRRRTTT in what was our first unofficial combat sortie and kill.
Some tips for this mission:
- Use shallow gun runs when hitting soft, moving targets
NOTE: only if situation permits. DO NOT perform in high-threat environment
for other cases, steep gun runs are recommended
- Learn to use visual references to find and ID target
