- first thoughts on kola is it runs smooth, love all the textures/colors and it is absolutely fantastic. Love the road layout/bridges and the attention to detail to the cities and airports. It is a refreshing green from all of the sand we've seen lately. Lots of mountainous terrains to hide behind from or even do some runs through. Have not had any stutters or lag spikes but which is amazing(this was in single player) I am sure that once missions and assets are added to map we may see some different results but I don't think it will be anything taxing because of how smoothly it already runs for me.

Looks awesome. What FPS are you getting with your setup?
I wanna say I was getting 30-60 FPS depending on where I am at, given this was in SP Mode. Today on TTI Kola, it was a bit more laggy not sure why and their servers kept crashing(connection timed out for everyone)
It’s a great map of a beautiful part of the world. I was a little underwhelmed by the level of detail at airbases. But otherwise very happy with it.
Me to! Unfortunately there was some lag here and there on MP Servers at airports not sure what that was about..but other than that! Its awesome!
It’s looks ok.. Honestly not a big improvement over Caucasus. For 150gb it needs to look a lot more than just ok.

The terrain is a huge improvement over caucasus. But it does lack a lot of details like towns, cities, POI. I was cruising over finmarksvidda, into Finland and Russia at 20k feet and it looks beautiful. But low level around lofoten did not look great. Lot's of work to do. I'm happy to finally be flying over my own country even if it's just the northern half.
@@audunskilbrei8279 while further flying kola seems to be a lack of some smaller cities if I may add, but even though it still is early access. It is wonderful and I truly still enjoy it.

Did you use a filter or colour gradeing?
If I am understanding correctly you are talking about the technicolor options in DCS? If yes, then yes I am. I believe it was called techn3, something ending in a 3. I will double check when I get on today.
Why does it look like P3D v3?
I have to agree, but it doesn’t help that VR videos are so nauseating.
I never even knew what P3D v3 was until i looked it up... does look similar lol
