"Hello everyone and welcome to another video" I hope we will keep hearing this even after the world ends, keep going mate.
😁 thanks
@@RandomGaminginHD"hello everyone, and welcome". In todays video- we have salvaged a rare Corsair HX750i with most of its cables intact. I've assembled a hodge podge of boards, some with ram, others with just a cpu and maybe a nicely hidden m.2... Lets see what we can piece together, shall we.
“Hello everyone and welcome to another video. Today I found 10 dead rats and tamed a pack of wild dogs to harass the local wildlife. Hopefully dinner is good tonight, otherwise I might have to eat the whole pack. Let me know if you have any suggestions for a trade if you need any wild puppies. Thanks for watching.”
"Today, a feral EVGA employee graciously let me borrow (on a permanent basis *Wink) a secret 4090 prototype he'd managed to almost fully restore. It had everything, bar a few chokes and two memory dies. Parts, I'd surely find, either nearby, or in my own stash of piled up computer towers".
Switches to a duet with Louis Rossmann on the final repairs. They then argue on what game to play on their new toy.
is that a coincidence that zachs tech turf also uploaded about this case recently lol
1:45 it's a bird
Indeed it is 😁
CGI
No its a plane
Nice Ray Tracing
It's RTX 4080 Super!
The P650B is outside of "Gigabyte bomb" list, before anyone saying the PSU is bad. It's "Good enough" for midrange (until Ryzen 7+ RX7800)
I still wouldn't choose a Gigabyte PSU though due to how badly Gigabyte handled the bomb style units.
I watch a lot of people build pc's using new parts, used parts, new old stock etc and I always find your presentation of the build process the most watchable.

😂
(Laughing like Pup Scooby-Doo) "Huh....I don't get it!"🤔
"thats what she said"
No one else better put a like in this comment! It's ... nice as is
Said the bishop to the actress
Building SFF is a constant experience of going between the extremes of "what do you mean I can't fit that here" and "wow, I can fit so much in here".
Something about the cpu cooler being a giant cube is so funny to me😭
Haha I really like it
@@RandomGaminginHDthe cooler looks really clean, I'm not a fan of a ton of angles, so it looks amazing to me.
It IS the ULTIMATE true form of cooling
Funnily enough that cooler was mention on a discord yesterday and looked quite good.
deepcool made some of the most beautiful designed coolers in the market, like ever. The Assassin 4 is peak cooler design
Out of the many videos featuring builds in the CH160, I think you're the only one who's used a standard non-modular ATX PSU and installed it competently. The cable management is great and the temps are more than decent for an air-cooled ITX build.
Nice 🍻
I wish I knew how not to just stuff my cables inside the CM NR200. I think non-modular PSUs are advantageous in that there aren't too many protruding plugs coming out of them.
Well I thought the temps were gonna be shite, glad I was wrong lol. That is impressive for how crammed it is.
You should actually test a system like this with full system load for 30 minutes and monitor temps while doing so... Heat may actually build up inside over time.
@@oropher1234 maybe, but it's also so small air just leaves quickly
@@oropher1234 ambient temperature always comes into play.. if i have no Aircon and its the middle of the summer. Temps would definitely be up there
@@oropher1234 SFF builds aren't hotter by default. There are many of them that run cooler than most ATX full towers. My meshlicious for example is straight up full mesh panels, way better thermals than my old ATX build. The CH160 isn't as cool but it's really solid temp wise.
like always this video was insanely well-paced and beautiful! i always look forward to watching these videos
Just did a CH160 Build with an 13400 the other day! Thanks on doing a budget Build on this!
Budget SFF case seems like a good fit for budget parts! It also apparently can do pretty well with some high end parts as well.
Whew. That's a clean build my boi!
I enjoyed watching this guy's videos because of his relaxing voice and because he's not like these other tech youtubers out there claiming to be repairmen where all they are doing is swapping parts.
you do realize most repairmen just swap parts right? The trick is knowing what to swap and if said part is salvageable.
@@user-tb2uz5mu8l I don't want to be rude but tbh, anyone who has common sense can do that. My point is that it is sad that there are legitimate repairmen like northwestrepair who doesn't get the love as much as this big tech guys who allegedly claims to be the experts. (cough, cough jaytwocents)
Nice build. Brave man using a Gigabyte PSU. I know it was only their 750-850 watt units that had issue, but I will stick with Corsair and Seasonic.
Ah that’s good to know, at least this 650w one should be ok! I’ll probably avoid in future just in case
Definitely can't complain considering the amount he paid.
@@wobb_ trust me if that psu grenaded that mb cpu ram or gpu he would not be giving it praise.
The P650B is C-tier on Cultist Netowrk, so it's perfectly fine. It's the P-GM ones that are F-tier.
@@Pamani_ Good deal
Cube-shaped cases about this size can be fun as one can oftentimes mix and match SFF and full-size components. They are like the TARDIS in ways...
looks clean , nice how it combines a compact size with compatibility for more reasonably priced parts , i just build a lan pc in an ammo tin , its about half as wide but i did have to get a mini psu , been wanting to get into smaller builds for a while , its pretty satisfying when it all fits
Love your channel man.
That's a clean build, I like that CPU cooler a lot!
I know this isn't what the video is about but that editing transition between counterstrike and spider-man was a thing of beauty.
love the video!!
Nice looking build.
Thanks for the video. I just heard of this case and glad to know I only need to switch to an itx board if it's available in my country.
His voice is just mind pleasing 😌💙
Gigabyte PSU : "Bomb has been planted"
Looking to build a small pc and this case looks good unit with flexibility to use atx psu! Thanks for reviewing 🐈👍
Nice looking case
Finally, a video showing an ATX PSU in the CH160. Glad to know using a ATX PSU is actually passable considering the temps and cables. Will be considering this case for a potential downsize from my chunky H510i.
Impressive temperatures for such a compact build.
beautiful case
the temps are also well under control, incredible small build
Those temperatures are really impressive.
Seems like a nice case.
I loved the fact that you actually used an atx psu for this build not like everyone using an sf/sfx-l psu, making the build cheaper and properly utilising the space. Thanks for the build.
If I were going to use the 3060, I would have opted for a cheaper AM4 motherboard with a Ryzen 5600 and less expensive DDR4 RAM. This would result in a significantly cheaper system with similar performance, and you'd also have room to upgrade to a 5800X3D down the line. 🙂
luv the SFF pcs u should build more
that case and cooler looks great in an all white setup
Wow, amazing build and amazing case i havent heard of apparently. Makes me regret trying to fit deepcool smaller form factor cooler into cooler master NR200p.
But still, my temps are low and performance is great, and the additional heater capabilities keeps me warm at nights lol
Same psu as mine they are twins.👌
I genuinely thought getting the gpu in was gonna be a headache and so would its temps, overall a surprisingly good performing build, I have that same rtx model and specs and got it for 190 dollars, a lot of value can be obtained from the used market if one searches right
air coolers that big should really have some sort of supporting bracket
It's nice to see you in the new Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 trailer. As soon as I saw Henry I thought it was your face lol
Can’t wait for KCD2
Such a nice "Lunchbox" style case. I think this would benefit from an SFX PSU (if supported) and some custom length cables
even without hardware in it, it's more advanced than an iphone. there's a headphone jack!
So next a full open loop mini itx build?
I’d love to do that
Just checked cex a few hours ago, I was surprised to see the 12400f is £110 and the 12400 is £100! Amazing deal right there
Looks like the took the SAMA IM01 and made some improvements.
Great Compact Entry Level Gaming PC! Someday I Will Own One too When Funds Becomes Abundant ^_^
I think the compact build like this is cool. I bought a mATX mobo because of this. I still use my old mid tower and haven't continue the journey yet lol
*When you manage to put it in
Her: It fits!
My type of build 😏
I think that SFF builds are awesome.
I used to have one with a G4560 and a GTX 1050ti back then. I miss it.
Blower fan in the GPUs would be great for putting cards into such small cases
This case has the exact same dimensions as my InWin A1. I'm getting a little bored of the A1 after all these years. This one will go on my list of possible replacements.
i bought a cheap deepcool case as well. Its flimsy and probably wont survive any drop, even just on its side, but for what it is, it does its job, so im not complaining on saving money and amount of material needed for a throwaway PC like a cheap gaming PC
Wonder if a mini-dtx would fit. Same length as itx but width goes to the 2nd slot..
1:45 Bird! I saw a bird😅
I built in the KXRORS S300 - Mini-ITX PC Case, ASUS ROG Strix B660-I Gaming Wifi, i5-12600t, ID-cooling IS-55 BLACK, MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti VENTUS 2X BLACK 16G OC, i love this pc. It's not cheap, but so nice.
One note about the case, the PCIe riser cable that comes with it is... not good.
Needed to get a PCIe 4.0 x16 Riser cable, 18.5CM double reverse angle.
Nice :)
yep i remember a couple of years ago i started my first ever M-itx build i got a case without looking up any other hardware. nearly fell off my chair when i realised a AM4 M-itx mobo was going to cost me almost 400 aussie dollars....
Seeing the temps with ATX psu is good news. But now I wonder do I want to get sfx psu to mount 2 more fans or keep using my current ATX psu. Thankfully still weeks to think and wait for more reviews to come out.
Hey bud, just wondering what software you are using on the left side of the screen to display the temps/usage/etc. Can't ever seem to see it listed on many review channels, but I see it everywhere. Would love to see what my computer is doing while I play games, but all I really have is Speccy for temps and Task Manager, and neither of those are an overlay lol
Having a similar layout in my (modified) Raijintek metis my concern is the PSU cables getting in the way of the GPU. Ideally the PSU needs to be rotated so it exists out of the rear-side panel with the 24pin exiting window side.
How is that PSU mounted to the case? I think you may have needed to adjust the modular bracket to secure that chonk PSU to the front of the frame.
Was searching for small cases, perfect timing!
Awesome!
*Cries in 267mm GPU length*
have you done anything with custom cables, it's the only thing left i would like to do in mt SSF Lunchbox PC.
Does the heat gets accumulated more after hours of gaming? If so, how much heat differs from the initial playtime?
I currently have a mid tower I'm thinking of switching to dual chamber case but my concern is airflow
you can do custom waterloop right? :D
I'd be MORE likely to swap out the stock cooler in a case like this. They tend to be hotboxes, especially when running fewer fans.
Oh god, I wouldn't trust a Gigabyte PSU, not since the P750GM and P850GM had explosive issues... Hopefully that one works well!
Though overall, looks like a nice little compact system :)
Shame I can’t find it available in the UK yet 😢
Interesting to see Deepcool taking an “air only” approach since they don’t officially support AIOs. Newegg is preordering them at $70 in the US (before shipping), which is actually a pretty good price, assuming it lives up to Deepcool’s usual build quality (which it seems to do)
after seeing all those gigabyte psus explode on gamernexus awhile back, I will never touch one
Came for the case, stayed for that peel
Curious what the GPU length is with the ATX PSU?
Nice RT reflections on that table, NGL...
😂
Been eyeing that exact same motherboard, but it's pricy af where i live.
Thank you for the great video.
Thanks for watching!
i been wanting too build in a itx case but i did not find one where i can use a gpu and a capture card but they just only hold a gpu i use dual pc setup i been looking for small formfactor i am getting older too mantain bigger case atxme being at 32 years old
I got the Asus H610M-E D4 for i5 12400F and 3060 for gaming will the motherboard be okay?😢
fits my rx6800 nitro+, with 310mm of length in this case,
Get some custom cables!
I have the same psu.
0:25 nice build really... but this thing should be done after everything is built together.
Hey, do you ever plan on doing a video on BCLK overclocking with 12th gen chips? Nowadays you can pick up a 12400F for ~140 euros and a B760M PG Riptide for 150, chuck in some RAM and you will end up at around 350 for CPU+MB+RAM.
I recently BCLK overclocked my 12400F to 5.2GHz all core and the performance is very impressive. I think it would be an interesting video to compare it to a 7600, 5600x etc and Intels 13400.
This is the only upgrade path that makes sense on Intel imo, since AM5 is a way better option in most scenarios. Love your videos, been a longtime viewer!
How small is this compared to the og nr200 without the p?
looks like some MATX boards might actually fit in this case...
Do you think a 160mm PSU would fit in this case?
I am currently using a Silverstone SG-10, which is around an inch larger in every dimension, and was thinking of swithcing to a smaller form factor.
looking at the video it looks like a 160mm PSU would fit in as long as it is matched with a short 2 fan graphics card.and the reason they say max 140mm is so that the longest graphics cards still technically fit (though cable management would be a nightmare)
This is such a nice case...pity a 3090ti fe won't fit... 🤦🏼♂️
Aren't you supposed to peel after building it so you don't get fingerprints all over the glass while putting it together?
Where do you get the mod for the framerate fix ?
where do we get it??
Careful with that Gigabyte psu, hope its doesn't give an unwarranted fireworks show
this PSU is actually solid, you are mistaking it with their other line
Hey can i ask you something about my PC also love your videos👌
The temperature seems to have been no problem at all, despite all the crowding. Didn't see it even reach 70 C in the presented clips.
Yeah pretty impressive
Love that the build is repeatable and is not with basic 7800x3d 7900gre or 4080
Yeah some of these parts are plentiful used. That said, I think I’ll avoid this PSU in future!
This is perhaps the only build where the CPU cooler is larger than the graphics card.
I hope that Gigabyte P650B power supply isn't one of the "explosively" bad models
nah, explosive models were p750gm and p850gm
This case and the oversized heatsink is calling out for a better CPU!
Yeah the upgrade potential is there for sure
Could CH160 technically fit mATX motherboard?
