- Medical School Pathology, 2013 Season, Session #1: Introduction and Orientation
This is session #1 of 63 sessions of a medical school pathology course taught online to over 2000 registered students from 105 countries, by John R. Minarcik, MD. Each session is about 2 hours long, and some sessions were done simultaneously with formal auditorium presentations to live students at an American medical school, preparing for USMLE Step 1. The course was given from the fall of 2012 to the spring of 2013, and includes both lectures and histopathology labs, and is based on Robbins textbook of Pathology, 8th edition. In the event that the damn googlestapos block it, this video can be downloaded in super hi-resolution at:

Rock on, ya buzzards!
John R. Minarcik, MD
The lecture started at 1:30:33
I am a nurse who thoroughly enjoys this fascinating material! It would not be interesting without your thorough and unique way of explaining things while showing your awesome personality.
You MORE than made my day!
dear sir
if someone ask you ''to whom you deliver your lecture?'' you can tell my name.i am from dhaka, Bangladesh, where we are deprived of many things specially in quality education. we have teachers, pathologist, but keeping respect to them i do not like their thinking, their style and more over their rude teaching.i know you are big hearted man that why you can think that knowledge must be free to everyone.
here internet facility is not well enough as i have to watch your two hours lecture with 3 intermission throughout last 12 hours! it was my dream to introduce myself with the teaching style and experiences of authors like Robbins,Davidson's ,Ganong or Guyton and others. i made the dream true
thank you actually falls far short to express my gratitude to you
Dr., You are a truly amazing individual to offer this knowledge to the masses. I had to forgo college this semester for lack of funds, and because I have no intention of quitting, I am studying several topics while I work to pay for next semester. Open course material from Berkeley, Yale, and MIT have allowed me to learn about the sciences, and mathematics, and now you have allowed me to learn about pathology whereas I would have not a hope of paying for medical school. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Rock on!

Caribbean medical school is a great alternative to American school since it's cheaper. Did you see the article written in 2010 about some of these American schools getting mad because of Caribbean students having residencies at New York hospitals? Their claim was that these students were taking up spaces that their students could have but their argument was invalid because they weren't turning out enough students to fill all of the spaces. Caribbean medical schools help with the doctor shortage in the U.S. since all of these American schools like to deny so many people. One representative of a Caribbean school said these American school directors just couldn't "hold their noses up high enough."
i feel like this guy got drunk as he was recording this, he really shows it at 32-33 mins in...
Not too sure if I'd want you do diagnose anything for me, New, starting out with a wrong diagnosis on day #1.
WashingtonDeceit didnt mean to offend (nor diagnose for that matter). I watched the rest of the lecture and thought it was great. I plan to watch all of them.
Im in nursing school by the way, I graduate in May, and would like to go to med school later, lack of resources is why i cant.
well then dont ya think that calling a guy a drunk who is giving you the same education you get from a 60k per year medical school, free, is kind of fucking stupid of you?
i didn't call you "a drunk" i said it seemed as though you were drinking while recording this because of the flow of your conversation. if you were not, I apologize. working in an ER (and being a college student for that matter) gives me an idea of what an intelligent intoxicated person sounds like, and based on my experience, I made a connection between the way you talk and that. I do however understand that everyone has different annunciation, and again, apologize if my assessment was incorrect. like i said, I enjoy your video and the mixed in ranting, so please dont be offended by my comment, i meant nothing negative by it.
