    The correlation silicon-tb comes from working in mining shafts where there's close contact btwn workers and almost no ventilation.

    If I were diagnosed with NSCLC, and you would see the lymphocytes penetrating the tumor, nowadays (not in2013: it didn't matter) I would LOVE it bc now it could (with PDL1 testing etcetera) predict a high chance of survival with eg. pembrolizumab. I like the way he describes it bc tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIC) are now a target for immunotherapy like atezolizumab.

    Hi,
    First I would like to thank you for your great video´s. But I have a question, How did you know what specialization to choose , did you just love pathology ?

      I wasn't 100% sure if pathology was for me, but it seemed to be the specialty which might case me the least anxiety and greatest satisfaction, so my dean at the time, Dr. Ann Peterson at the Univ. of Illinois, said, "Well then why not just try it?"
