I use a whole row of sausage, party wings (precooked them) light Trinity (precook them) (okra I love but family don't 😔) prepeeled & deveined medium shrimp 🍤 and 😋 Snow crab legs Yum. No broth/stock used. Put into my large roaster and DANG IT (have patience) 🙃🙃 it's the talk of my 👪 and friends on New Years Day. With rice, corn Bread, ribs and a whole feast of other foods is barely a bowl leftover. Thanks for getting out the product tho. I stock up at Walmart and also if you like a tad spicy for (table) also get the Slap Ya Mama seasoning salt 😱 OMG I LOVE IT.
I seasoned the chicken in mine with Slap Ya Mama and black pepper. Only other things I did were throw in fresh thyme and rosemary near the end and put a little filé in my bowl.
Louisiana Brand is the best honestly! I use their fish fry ever time I fry any seafood Nothing needed it’s awesome..I just bought the Gumbo mix and cannot wait to try it ..Thank you for this upload

I am from NOLA too and I had my doubts at first but it was surprisingly pretty decent. Also, the best box gumbo so far that I have tried where I did not feel needed any additional seasonings was GUMBO GIRL. She definitely knows what she is doing. All the other ones, I had to add my own to the mix.

Being from the Deep South, I will say that Old school gumbo from scratch is better, but this Louisiana brand gumbo is very good and quick. I use it all the time and have never been disappointed.
making gumbo tonight my dad only used 1 base gumbo packet and 1 chicken stock i think but im just hoping this time its good cause last time he never cooked it good it was not liquidy it was thick but this is very good to use
