It's tough out there right now. Especially in the wild. There is a small colony of cats who my neighbors and I started feeding not long ago. Very quickly the females became tame. Fluffy and Spot are dilute tortoise shells. Fluffy is long hair and Spot short hair. Clearly sisters. And Gray Kitty is a velvety gray. From their sizes and behavior, I think Gray Kitty is their mom. Just as they were becoming tame Fluffy walked into my neighbor's apartment and had babies. Not long after, Spot brought her litter into my neighbor's home, one by one. I was there the night Fluffy's babies were born. I cut Echo's cord. And I knew that I would adopt this tiny mostly white dilute calico when she was ready. She is long hair like her mama. And as soft as cotton wood down. But she would need a sister if she was to integrate into my home. And she was the only baby from her litter to survive. Spot's second special delivery kitten was a girl. A little velvet gray tuxedo. Winifred would be Echo's "sister" even though they are cousins for real. Gray Kitty is grandma to my newly adopted baby girls and to Spunky, the spit fire little boy who my neighbor kept. Gray Kitty and Spot are teaching Spunky to be an insideal/outside kitty. Hopefully my neighbor will have him neutered very soon. My big senior boy, Amour, has accepted his new baby sisters without problem like the sweet gentle soul he is. Unfortunately Bunny, my 4 year old female kitty, is not accepting the babies so far. She was the baby of the home until these 2 kittens arrived. And she's not wanting to share that position. It's been 2 months as of today and I still have to keep Winnie and Echo in a 4' dog kennel set up as a nursery. They only get to come out for meals and supervised playtime. Bunny is still too angry with them to allow them to come out more than that. But the shelters are full. And Craigslist is swamped. I couldn't relieve Bunny of our new kittens even if I wanted to. Besides, I get those soft furry bodies in my hands and I couldn't rehome them if I tried. I've been holding Echo since the day she was born. And winnie since she was barely old enough to toddle around. I think the babies are staying. I just hope there will again be be pece and happiness in my home again. Bunny is very dear to me, too. Leon looked so defeated in that box, like he knew what was coming, but you showed him kindness and gave him a life.....I hope and think on some level he knows you saved him.
It's a lobster. He knows he was in the water, then not, then into another place. And that's it. He does not know what being saved is nor can he predict the future and know what happens to lobsters after they get caught. Trying to place human emotions onto animals who cannot possibly have them does not help animals. Try to understand them as they are, not as you are. I know you meant well. But meaning well should be just thanking him for saving the lobster and teaching us about nature and water creatures instead of pretending lobsters have a sense of gratefulness for saving them. They have no such emotions.
My cat is watching this video earnestly. She's 13 on Friday, and she would like to thank you for your kindness to her fellow felines. We moved to our own woods house and already have possums! Love your videos, love the cats, love the little crabs and the glass shrimp, and love Leon!
When reading this, if all of your personal expierences are true, then Brady is over here is setting this thing up for more views.. Which I could imagine since Leon will die eventually die and he will have no more views... or maybe he already died...??? Just throwing some questions here
Bonus points for the cousin Eddy reference. I'm a freshwater ecologist, and I very much appreciate the stream footage. And huge thanks for rescuing the ferals.
As the rescue cat I brought home sits on my lap purring, I am so happy you are helping those kittens and their mama. Thank you for being an amazing human being. We need more people like you in the world.

Thanks, Brady for all you do for animals. I have been following you for quite some time. Love your channel. I used to do a lot of rescue work in the southeast mostly rescuing and rehabbing opossums. I don't do as much rehab work currently as I'm in vet school in AZ.
Opossums one of the most underrated most misunderstood of animals. Love possums had a pet one once very cat like and cuddly, but sadly they only live a few years mine died of old age at just under 5.
@@Boudicea97 they really are amazing. 5 years is great for an opossum! They literally changed my life. Was working a corporate job, rehabbed an inured opossum that wondered into my house through my cat door. Got involved with The Opossum’s Pouch Rescue, then got a clinic job and 4 years later I’m in vet school. All because of an opossum.
What a great video to watch before bed. 2 years passes so fast. So glad Leon is still living his best life. The kittens are adorable . Thanks for all you do…
You’re quickly becoming my hero, Brady. So kind, so touching. And sooo funny about Leon finding the camera😂 You’re a good man with good people and animals beside you❤❤❤
Yes! I have been worried about momma kitty. We live in rural northern Vermont and have a big old farmhouse with a big old barn. People drop cats off from time to time, and so we catch them, get them spayed or neutered, get them their shots and when possible we tame and rehome them. At the moment we only have four kitties, and they’re long term residents. My fingers are crossed that no more are dropped off. If so, we’ll do our best for them. Life as a feral cat is not ideal!
This video got uploaded while my friends and I were catching up watching last month's video! Of course we had a double feature. We're so happy you rescued those kittens. The shelter I work at occasionally gets cats/kittens with the same injury, usually caused by the umbilical cord being wrapped around the paw and cutting off its circulation. Amputating the remaining leg allows them much better mobility and they are able to move around with the same ease as four legged cat afterwards. Edit: realized I missed the mention at the end of the video that you are planning on TNRing the mother, awesome!!
@@heenanyou While it might seem drastic, leaving the limb alone is far worse for the cat than the amputation. stumps like that often develop permanent sores because the cat attempts to use the limb for something it can no longer do. The safest options for the long term are an amputation or a surgical prosthesis (which carry a whole parade of risks).
I’m three days late so I’m sure someone has already mentioned it, but the fact that you caught all three kittens the same night is just a sign they were meant to be rescued by you. I hope your children know how to take care of lobsters, because I have a feeling he’s going to outlive many of us!
You are a great storyteller! I discovered your videos about a month ago when I was in bed sick. They bring so much joy. I’ve loved following Leon’s and your growing fur babies adventures. Can’t wait for the update on kitties. Thanks Leon and Brady!
I love that you are always concerned about the happiness of the animals you encounter. I had a cat that Had to get a leg removed because of cancerous tissue. I felt terrible at the time. He lived 5 more years than expected, & was so much faster on 3 legs,I could not keep up with him. It's a good thing we found each other; HE adopted me. A wonderful friend
Hi Brady, I just got discharged after a 6 day horrible hospital stay. What a pleasant surprise to see that you had a Leon video ready for me to cheer me up! Thanks! 😊
I’m so proud of you Brady!!!! You did an awesome thing!!!! I just trapped 17 cats from a colony in Missoula, MT. One of the cats is missing parts of both back legs. He’ll be rehabbed for a home. Some are kittens that will be tamed and adopted out, others are too feral and will go back to where they were trapped as people feed them there. I’m so happy you have these kittens now!!! They have a chance at life. Feral life is very, very hard on kittens as you see.
I've been following Leon's story from the beginning. I couldn't be without these updates. This channel has enriched my life in ways I cannot express. It's like my soul needs it. And it just keeps getting better and better.
Sir, I have been an officer in the Royal Navy. I have been an accomplished lawyer. I’ve done a lot of things in my life. You, sir, are the true gentleman. You embody everything about human decency, and your compassion has turned me to tears. I thank you, unreservedly, on behalf of the animals you save, and the people whose lives you have touched. A very merry Christmas to you all.
I'm not sure there's anyone anyone in the world who gets more out of life than you do, and also has such empathy and kindness to help all critters. Bless you!
You are a good man. Thank you for not looking away and saying "That's not my problem". The true measure of a person's character is how they treat those in need of aid when no one else is looking. Thank you for living your life with a hand that reaches out to others 💕
Seeing that day 1 picture of him in a box really puts into perspective how much good you have done for him. I love the shots where he had the go pro. Please remember that kittens need bigger tanks than lobsters.
I don't think he is keeping the kittens in tanks. Ideally he would start them off in a small room and expand their world gradually as they get acclimatized.
Kittens born to a feral cat are more likely to develop into house cats if they are handled by people. These three are young enough and the final shot of them showed a softening in their eyes. The kitten may have been born without a foot. The joint looks clean and has fur on it, which is an indicator.
Leon is looking gorgeous! His coloring is so vibrant, it's awesome to see him continue to thrive. And the kitties are precious! Look forward to the updates
I started watching at the very beginning two years ago, when Leon was first rescued. I can’t believe the turn the channel has taken -and if you develop your own show I would absolutely watch!!! Love it! 💕💕
Like everyone else I am so touched and grateful you rescued these poor kittens. Any animal in need is lucky to meet up with you. Thank you for this fun and fascinating video. It's always an adventure. For sure that water hole is a huge no-no. But it was really fun to see it. Very brave of that guy. Wow.
I used to love to eat lobster. I can’t anymore. We were actually told in the restaurant industry that lobsters don’t feel pain but when I see Leon respond, to you touching him, I know they can feel everything. I can no longer kill a lobster. Thank you. for enlightening me about the intelligence of this creation that Jehovah has given us.
2 years and Leon is still killing it on YT, Love your videos Brady and love the work you do with wildlife! here to 2 more great years with Leon and all the Kitties!

Mungu, Mowgli and Meeow ❤❤❤ The fact that you turn around Leon's sand once in awhile gives him the fresh opportunity to rearrange after you have been through his sandy mound 😊 Love how you make the MOST of your fascinating environment
Brady, you are a wonderful human being. You’re one of the very few I would choose to populate a new planet. Thanks to Leon, I no longer eat anything that involved the death of a lobster. I just came home from a trip in which one of the group members puts out lobster pots to capture and sell them. He was a nice guy, but I can’t forget Leon as an exemplar of his species. I love this video showing the river with its holes (something I learned about through whitewater canoeing). And the part about the feral kittens, and the poor little injured one - they knew you are kind and they let you bathe them!
It’s just amazing. Putting the camera in the trash pile was absolutely hilarious. Brady, thank you so much for helping the fur babies as well as the shell babies lol. You’re an amazing person. I’m an animal lover through and through. I’m looking for a little land to have a small sanctuary on. Keep doing what you’re doing. We need to see more good things in the world ❤❤❤
I agree looks like an injury from birth.. It's possible momma chewed the foot off with the umbilical cord. That sometimes happens with young females and first litters. it's likely the first kitten born too.
Hi Brandy. I know your videos have never been against the meat/seafood industry. However, I completely agree with you regarding lobsters - they're really intelligent animals and it does not seem right they have their lives taken away for food. I also thought I'd let you know that you and Leon have been a bit of an inspiration to me. I've been pescetarian for many years. However, seeing your videos with Leon made me better appreciate the value of aquatic life. Those videos, along with some experiences I had watching people fish and reading some ethical philosophy led me to re-evaluate my own ethics and give up fish and seafood. I've now gone completely vegetarian, partly thanks to you and Leon! I realise you yourself are not vegetarian, and I do not judge that at all. People's diets are a personal matter. You have done me a favour, though, by helping consider my own morality and find a diet I am happy with. I also hope that it makes you happy to know that, thanks to you and Leon, there may be a few more lobsters, fish and crabs in the sea instead of on a plate.
You are such a good person ! Thank you for being there for the wildlife ! Love Leon and the cats ! Hope the feral ones will get what they need with a lovely forever house !
Another beautiful film. So enjoy the little adventures you take us on with the wonderful scenery! So happy you were able to catch the kittens! They are in such good hands. Good luck rescuing mama cat, too! As always, delighted to see Leon livin' his best life!!
The kittens are so chill being handled! So many of them hiss just from being looked at. I'm glad you got all of them and could help them :) The little injured one will do great when they are older. Many cats and dogs are fine on three legs. Also Leon is so lively! He the way he looks around when you circle the tank and grabs his food right away. It's a joy watching animals be cared for and happy.
There’s a female feral cat that hangs out where my parents work. We fed her regularly and she’s quite friendly actually. But when day she disappeared and came back a few months later pregnant. She gave birth to SIX KITTENS!! Unfortunately she had given birth it a place where we couldn’t reach them so we had to wait a couple of months. We eventually set out a large trap with food in it and waited for all six kittens and mom to go in. I’m still not sure how we did it, but we managed to trap all six of them and mom at once and took them to a humane society. The momma cat is still with us and we got her fixed shortly afterwards.
I was very concerned at the end of your last video, when the limping kitten appeared. Thank you for rescuing it and the other kittens! I hope the Mama is fixed soon!
Brady...thank you for rescuing all the amazing creatures and the Kittens. I used to keep firebelly newts in my aquarium as I was fascinated by them. My crabs would occasionally climb out though and scare my visiting mother to death! Out of the water she first thought one was some giant roach😂( not in my clean home!)🤣. I was not aware that they (newts)could regenerate their organs and spine. I was paralyzed for 3 years after an MVA...so I know how much research and development would help people. I also didn't realize the river there was deep enough to snorkel in! I was so happy to see Leon happy and healthy. Please be safe as the hurricane season is upon us. I never thought here in Stonewood. WV, we would see flash flooding. But it's occurring. 😇❤ PK RNC PHD

It's possible that the kitten could have had amniotic band syndrome and been missing the paw since birth. Thank you for helping them!
@@Yosetimea lot of people tend to humanize animals (even objects), probably a human psychology thing
Save Lobsters is for Good Humans, not for evil people 🙏🏻💙🦞
Brady, my life simply isn't complete without stories of Leon....
Thank you!
Good job Leon rescuing animals and thank you Brady for keeping us updated with Leon’s story and bless you Brady for rescuing these kittens 🙏
Brady you are my hero 😭 so glad you’re gonna TNR the momma cat 🎉
Yeah I’ll do a nice update on her in the next episode. ✌️✌️✌️
I love how this channel has evolved, I just hope the mother cat can find a forever home ❤
Yeah
My cat is watching this video earnestly. She's 13 on Friday, and she would like to thank you for your kindness to her fellow felines. We moved to our own woods house and already have possums! Love your videos, love the cats, love the little crabs and the glass shrimp, and love Leon!
My cat did too!
When reading this, if all of your personal expierences are true, then Brady is over here is setting this thing up for more views.. Which I could imagine since Leon will die eventually die and he will have no more views... or maybe he already died...??? Just throwing some questions here
@@koen522 I am not sure I understand you. You doubt our cats are watching?
Leon truly is a Rock Lob-Star🌟 Love seeing Leon's family expansion💙
Bonus points for the cousin Eddy reference. I'm a freshwater ecologist, and I very much appreciate the stream footage. And huge thanks for rescuing the ferals.
😅😅😅✌️
As the rescue cat I brought home sits on my lap purring, I am so happy you are helping those kittens and their mama. Thank you for being an amazing human being. We need more people like you in the world.
he rescued the mama too?
Please never stop with this series! I love how it's evolving, and there's not a thing you show that I skip, or makes me think "not interested". Can't wait to see more and thank you for what you do - from the kindness you show to every animal and piece of nature you come across, to the effort you put into filming and editing these videos ❤
It's amazing, how many lives you (and Leon, and the cats and...) have touched with these videos! Thank you, so much.
We should take a count of how many viewers won't eat lobsters anymore. With one, Brady has saved many.
I love Leon but I still eat Lobster. 😋
What a great video to watch before bed. 2 years passes so fast. So glad Leon is still living his best life. The kittens are adorable . Thanks for all you do…
Great to see the kittens rescued. Leon just being Leon is fantastic to see, he is one lucky Lobster.
Not one, hope he isn't the one lucky lobster in the World 💙🦞
You’re quickly becoming my hero, Brady. So kind, so touching. And sooo funny about Leon finding the camera😂 You’re a good man with good people and animals beside you❤❤❤
God Save Lobsters and Cats ❤
Oh good, you’re going to try and catch the momma cat! God bless you. ❤
He clearly says he plans to trap the mother for TNR at the end of the video.
I totally disagree with amputating the other leg. What a barbaric idea!
It's a great day when we get to see a new Leon video
I’m three days late so I’m sure someone has already mentioned it, but the fact that you caught all three kittens the same night is just a sign they were meant to be rescued by you. I hope your children know how to take care of lobsters, because I have a feeling he’s going to outlive many of us!
No one cares
@@marcusanthony5325 I don’t quite understand? No one cares about my comment, no one cares about the kittens? No one cares about Leon?
@@marcusanthony5325🙋🏻♀️ I do! 😁🖕🏼😂
Keep us posted with the cat family please
Hi Brady, I just got discharged after a 6 day horrible hospital stay. What a pleasant surprise to see that you had a Leon video ready for me to cheer me up! Thanks! 😊
God Save Lobsters and Cats ❤
I hope that you are doing well.
Came for Leon, stayed for Leon... and the kitties!!!!
What a hero Leon is! Rescuing those kittens all by himself with no help. A true hero of our times.
Thank you so much randomdoodles! Much appreciated. ✌️✌️✌️
I'm not sure there's anyone anyone in the world who gets more out of life than you do, and also has such empathy and kindness to help all critters. Bless you!
I love my lide
You are a good man. Thank you for not looking away and saying "That's not my problem". The true measure of a person's character is how they treat those in need of aid when no one else is looking. Thank you for living your life with a hand that reaches out to others 💕
Seeing that day 1 picture of him in a box really puts into perspective how much good you have done for him. I love the shots where he had the go pro.
Please remember that kittens need bigger tanks than lobsters.
I don't think he is keeping the kittens in tanks. Ideally he would start them off in a small room and expand their world gradually as they get acclimatized.
I'm agree for Save Lobsters in the World

Kittens born to a feral cat are more likely to develop into house cats if they are handled by people. These three are young enough and the final shot of them showed a softening in their eyes. The kitten may have been born without a foot. The joint looks clean and has fur on it, which is an indicator.
Look how big thier ears are! They're adorable! 😊
The world needs more humans as caring and gentle as yourself.
Leon is looking gorgeous! His coloring is so vibrant, it's awesome to see him continue to thrive. And the kitties are precious! Look forward to the updates
I can't believe how calm they are for feral cats. It breaks my heart when animals are injured 😢. God bless you for what you do 😊
I forgot how sad was the beginning of Leon. Look at him thriving!!! ❤😢
I started watching at the very beginning two years ago, when Leon was first rescued. I can’t believe the turn the channel has taken -and if you develop your own show I would absolutely watch!!! Love it! 💕💕
Your videography, editing, and production are top-notch. Your narration is the perfect finishing touch.
Wow.
I think the "injured one" was born that way. It happens. You're the other-human whisperer. You're awesome. Thank you.
What spicy little babies!
I am spicy lady
I used to love to eat lobster. I can’t anymore. We were actually told in the restaurant industry that lobsters don’t feel pain but when I see Leon respond, to you touching him, I know they can feel everything. I can no longer kill a lobster. Thank you. for enlightening me about the intelligence of this creation that Jehovah has given us.
It’s a little sad seeing Leon on day one. Defeated and waiting for death. I’m happy to see him thriving now.
2 years and Leon is still killing it on YT, Love your videos Brady and love the work you do with wildlife! here to 2 more great years with Leon and all the Kitties!
I've been thinking a lot about that little kitten ever since the last video. Such a huge relief to see this update! Thank you for all you do. Fingers crossed you can trap mama cat and get her spayed.
When my work stress levels are out the roof, I always come to see if there is a new Leon video to bring my stress levels down. Amazing
Mr. Brady, you have a kind heart and a way with animals. Thanks for helping those kittens and I hope you are able to give a help to the mamma as well.
I am SO GLAD yu took care of these kittens!!!
Thank you for rescuing the kittens. You are a wonderful person for doing what you do. Love watching the videos and your adventures. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to the next video.
Mungu, Mowgli and Meeow ❤❤❤
The fact that you turn around Leon's sand once in awhile gives him the fresh opportunity to rearrange after you have been through his sandy mound 😊
Love how you make the MOST of your fascinating environment
Brady, you are a wonderful human being. You’re one of the very few I would choose to populate a new planet. Thanks to Leon, I no longer eat anything that involved the death of a lobster. I just came home from a trip in which one of the group members puts out lobster pots to capture and sell them. He was a nice guy, but I can’t forget Leon as an exemplar of his species. I love this video showing the river with its holes (something I learned about through whitewater canoeing). And the part about the feral kittens, and the poor little injured one - they knew you are kind and they let you bathe them!
God Save Lobsters and Cats ❤
Thank you for not kill/cook/eat any poor lobster again 🙏🏻💙🦞
Thank you for going out of your way to help the kitties!!
We need to see more good things in the world ❤❤❤
You are a really kind hearted person Brady. Those kittens were lucky you noticed them. The experimental tank is going to be interesting!
Looks like a birth defect. Thank you for helping these babies. Much love from my two rescued dogs, one rescued cat, and two foster cats!
I agree looks like an injury from birth.. It's possible momma chewed the foot off with the umbilical cord. That sometimes happens with young females and first litters. it's likely the first kitten born too.
And the POOR LOBSTERS???? 🙏🏻💙🦞
The mom might have accidently bit the foot off after birth. She could have mistaken it for the cord
The lobsters in the tank break my heart.. Defeated, hungry, humiliated..
Thank you for helping the cat family
Lovely.
Leon looks very healthy.
Little kitties are so cute.
Looking forward to the next episode.
Poor little tripod. They're all adorable! And Leon is looking amazing!
Those are such adorable babies. ❤ Thank you for saving them.

As always, delighted to see Leon livin' his best life!!
man this channel brought back some faith in humanity for me. thanks.
I still remember the first video like it was yesterday can't believe it's been that long ago. Great job sir
It’s been two years?! Go Leon. So much personality.
You have a heart of gold
Two years, WOW! Seems like yesterday. 😊
Those kittens are in great hands.
I was very concerned at the end of your last video, when the limping kitten appeared. Thank you for rescuing it and the other kittens! I hope the Mama is fixed soon!
It's an honor to share this world with you. You are a very kind and intelligent person. Bless you.
Best video yet Brady! Incredible footage, questions, curiosities ignited! I want to go there, be there!
I've see your previous videos of the river rock vortex. The physics make sense, and yet, it still seem otherworldly.
This was a great update! I'm happy to see that Leon is thriving, and you were able to rescue the feral kittens. Can't wait to see an update on the mama kitty.
Don't know how you ended up on my feed; but, I'm REALLY glad that you did🙂Hi from SW Oklahoma
