I'm doing a mock interview with my son tonight in preparation for his college interview in a couple of days. Some great questions and pointers here. He said he's done his research and all that, I'll be sure to point him here if he needs it. Thanks for making the video Richard.
Great to hear you are helping with the preparation. I highly recommend doing some mock interview practice with him as this can be the best way to develop confidence, memorise answers, and find out which answers need improving. @@CareerVidz I found I had to prompt him a few times and dig a bit deeper to get the answers which would be ideal. Going to try again later and see how he gets on. He ended the call prematurely as Leeds United scored and he missed the goal 🤣 he's not happy at the moment.
I’ve got my interview in 2wks I’m well known at my college and have yearly records of best attendance and punctuality . Also reports of getting work done well before the deadlines and most of all a bubbly but serious attitude. The best tip really is to be yourself but don’t talk to them like their your friends
