Some of us older people have no idea what others are talking about… I don’t understand how do use the apps, I don’t know how to navigate everything because I don’t understand all the computer lingo… How do I fix it? So my pictures, paintings don’t get cropped on Instagram? Is there another video, step-by-step for absolute beginners because I don’t understand how to navigate the apps, the icons, the lingo or anything… I guess some of us old people really need a beginner course… Please help😅
This has been known for a while. The problem is that many don't want borders on their pics. There is simply no way to post vertical images until Instagram decides they're better off being user friendly.
they need to update their damn app and make it so we can post any length picture!
we need proper ig alternative, the app sucks!
Now I've just seen a vertical image of like 5 cm high, it's possible 🙆🏽♀️

When posting artwork or a painting, the border option is the only way to go. That is because you must show the entire canvas with no distortion. Thank you.

Same.. i want to post 4 photos .. but 1 of it are in diff style which is portrait while 3 others landscape .. so the pic cannot be in full 😭

Followed all the tips and tricks to stop instagram cropping my photos. They look good when you click on them or when seen in the newsfeed. But Instagram will still crop my pics on my profile view feed (photo grid) Anyone got any tips for this? Just for neatness and to make my profile look better.

Thank you for the video, but I still don’t understand anything… Some of us people who are a little bit older still don’t understand how to navigate everything… And I don’t want to pay for something that should be free and easy to use for everyone of All ages..and levels of computer literacy..Is there a way that you can make a video that goes step by step by step telling me what icons to use because I don’t know how to navigate the apps.. I mean I know a little bit, but when things are not so easy on the screen, and they slide up and down or side to side, some of us have no idea that they can do that… I have no idea what some of the words you’re using either since my computer knowledge started in the 80s.😢If there’s another video you can recommend that would teach us complete beginners that would be awesome.

This does not work for landscape oriented photos! 😢 I always have to sadly crop friends out of photos to meet the 1:1 aspect ratio. It's ridiculous!

Million dollar company that is for posting photos and you’d think instagram could have this feature included.
It's the best tutorial video I have ever watched and it finally taught me how to edit the pics for Instagram after watching 100s of useless videos

The 8:10 option on the photo editor isn’t there for me. Why?
