about 2 years ago, my wife dyed her entire head of hair blue, and yeah everything Jaiden says about it is absolutely the living hell that was her having colored hair. It stained everything and was insanely expensive to upkeep and it very quickly wasn't worth it after the novelty wore off. She was glad she finally did it cause it was something she had wanted to do her whole life but it's very much "ok cool, let's never do it again" situation
When she said go to the hairdressers to redo hair you can just buy cheap hair dye stuff at like a store and do it yourself sounds hard but it’s really not
If you do it right with the right products (and dont trust a hairdresser that just wants your money haha) it’s actually insanely low maintenance and easy as hell to maintain having colorful hair, and quality dye won’t stain anything or come out of your hair ever.
One time i was drawing and my friend asked "how the heck do you draw that kinda hair!??" amd i realized it was me watching to much of your videos and its my most defining feature in my art style so thank you i love drawing my crazy hair
The person who did my hair actually recommended me a color depositing conditioner that kept the color in a lot longer than it would take for it to fade, my hair is still the same color as it was when it was first dyed, and I couldn’t be happier, it’s been almost 4 months since I got it done and it hasn’t faded yet. If anyone is wondering the brand it’s keracolor
Imagine you’re out in the woods too far away from any hospital and you’re hanging with your friends, then one of them gets a pretty nasty surface cut and then your other friend who is a training nurse goes like “give me a strand of your hair” and then stitches back up the wound with the hair
Similar experiences eventually led to me just getting a buzz cut. At least it's easy to maintain and cool in the summer. But everyone who remembers my longer hair is sad because they thought it looked good. Oh well.
I did the opposite because a loose ponytail is the easiest thing to maintain. You wake up, brush it for 10 sec and put on a bobble then pull your hair an inch forward. Done. No mirror, no hair gel or moose or hairspray or any of that crap. You can also cut your own hair.
I've had blue in my hair since my senior year of high school (finishing up my sophomore year of college now) and I think the last time I got it dyed was like... 6 months ago? And it's still a good blue. The trick is to go darker than the color you actually want, do a few color shampoo sessions afterwards, and you're generally good to go based on the color. Each color has a different chemistry, after all. Blue is pretty good about sticking around but red is like "I'll fade but I'll also NEVER COME OUT!"
@@Rupsoup My hair is a pretty good aqua blue... the trick is to dye your hair a darker blue. Not navy, more something like cobalt. It'll fade then to the aqua color, just use colored shampoo every once in a while to spice it up as needed. That being said, I never use the shampoo anymore lol

Never got rid it though, had it for many years before discovering a giant hole in the side of it and got rid of it then

I've never been pierced by a hair strand, but when I was in high school, I was making something out of carbon fiber. Now when you work with carbon fiber, you're supposed to wear special protective equipment, because carbon fiber is 8 times thinner than human hair and can actually fit inside your pores. I didn't know this, so I'm filing away at carbon fiber with a nail file (I think I used my mom's nail file D:), and let me tell you the horrible itching sensation was the worst. I later heard a story from a friend of mine about a guitarist who somehow managed to get a piece of carbon fiber from his guitar wedged in his finder. They did surgery, cutting all the way down to the bone, but they weren't able to remove the carbon fiber from his thumb. Then, over a year later, it just sort of popped out. The moral of the story is that really fine hairs can be dangerous and you should definitely wear protective gear if you're going to grind away at carbon fiber. Also maybe don't use your mom's nail file. Without telling her (sorry mom).

As someone with equally dummy thick hair, I've had to get my hair thinned when i go to the hairdresser so its easier to manage, as well as having my hair cut to my chin. I wake up and all i gotta do is run a brush through it, plus blowdrying only takes 5 minutes now compared to 30 when my hair was to my shoulders and not thinned.
One time I found a weird looking fluffy dog near my house, I went over for a closer look and to my relief it was really friendly. So I was petting it and that’s when I noticed something, large clumps of hair were falling off the dog. So I grabbed a clump of hair and pulled it off and the dog just exploded in a pile of hair, no body in sight, just hair. I now believe it to be a wandering piece of jaiden’s hair.
I heard one boy say he wanted pink hair, everyone laughed, but the reason for him saying he wanted that color was, and I quote "just for the hell of it"
I’ve had green hair for a good time now. When I first dyed my hair, I was worried that it would fade into a bad looking color. But it didn’t, it faded into this nice looking blue. It’s so nice that people still ask me when I dyed my hair blue.
I have been “pierced by a hair strand” I was standing in the tub, and all of a sudden my foot hurt. So I sat down to find a hair sticking out of me and I pulled it out.
I’ve gotten so many of those on my arm or leg n it always hurts and itches so much and it made me so happy to know that someone else also gets that sometimes and that I’m not a complete weirdo
Funny thing. About the whole "hair piercing leg skin thing", I actually had the very same thing happen. Down to the "mom's hair", "mom's bed", "on Sunday while watching cartoons". That must be something that's very rare, as you are the first person that I've ever heard of that happening to. On top of that, it's happened multiple times, but if you were ask how many, how often, my age or ages at the times of it's occurance, and if there was ever a time that it happened multiple Sundays in a row, and if so, how many? ... I wouldn't be able to tell you.
Its more common that you think. I pieced my thumb with a strand of my own hair before and i just thought i got one of those weird unexplained cuts, like a paper cut (it was dark so i didnt see it but i did feel it
@@HeroFanNo.1 It also happened to me twice, but the second one managed to completely pierce through the bottom of my foot and it took probably a few weeks to get it out ;-; (it hurt kinda badly tho)
I can relate SO MUCH to the thick hair because I too, have the same thick hair and get compliments about it all the time when it really isn’t all that great😅
as a person who has very thick wavy and uncontrollable hair, the “I just let it do it’s thing and if it’s bad it’s only like 50% my fault” resonated with me deeply. Edit: Italian genes will do that. yay. edit edit: I did not expect this comment to get so much traction on an older video but I appreciate yall :)
Kat Galaxyぃぃ Just a haircut asking them to thin it out will help usually with that uncontrollable issue lol. After that your hair should be feel lighter and less thick giving more room to style it. Obviously it’ll grow back tho lol
My mrs suffers with vitiligo which causes a small portion of hair on the very top of her head to grow without pigment - its just straight white. Shes been dying her hair forever to cover it up and your bingo on the towel thing! We don't have a towel in the house that isnt stained one colour or another!
I've gotten to the age where my hair's starting to go, so last year I dyed it purple for the first (and probably last) time, mostly just to say I did it while I still could. I actually enjoyed the more permanent silver-gray it stayed for a longer time after the color washed out and the toned bleach blonde stuck around until it grew out completely. I might consider doing that again. I don't think I'm going to put up with staining literally everything my hair touches again, though, that was obnoxious.
I’ve had dark pink hair for a few years and found a permanent box brand that doesn’t fade out. I recolor every few months when my roots are getting noticeable and my eyebrows completely regrow. (I color my eyebrows too) Salons usually use a direct dye over bleached hair which is why it fades so fast. Also an acv rinse twice a week helps to retain the vibrancy better and is great for scalp health.

He had a lot of jaiden hair and no one was there to take it off, until you

Funny thing. About the whole "hair piercing leg skin thing", I actually had the very same thing happen. Down to the "mom's hair", "mom's bed", "on Sunday while watching cartoons". That must be something that's very rare, as you are the first person that I've ever heard of that happening to. On top of that, it's happened multiple times, but if you were ask how many, how often, my age or ages at the times of it's occurance, and if there was ever a time that it happened multiple Sundays in a row, and if so, how many? ... I wouldn't be able to tell you.
To those who are liking this comment, are you people that have had this happen to you too?

Man, I was here in 2020. Now it's 4 years later
Having a dark-colored "sacrifice" towel to put under your head when the hair's still wet can be a big help, if you decide to do it again.

I’ve had dark pink hair for a few years and found a permanent box brand that doesn’t fade out. I recolor every few months when my roots are getting noticeable and my eyebrows completely regrow. (I color my eyebrows too)
Salons usually use a direct dye over bleached hair which is why it fades so fast. Also an acv rinse twice a week helps to retain the vibrancy better and is great for scalp health.
