Kopaka and Matoran are meant to be pronounced “Koh-pahk-ah” and “Muh-tor-ren”
Really cool video, aside from that! Pretty cool to see people are still playing this game from my childhood, and people in general are starting to remember Bionicle as a whole
he also pronounced gali as "gah-lee" emphasizing the "ah" sound
Oh hey I'm in this one! Fun fact about freebird: I had initially discovered it about a year before I fully figured it out while making a TAS for the game, and thanks to Hexadecimal Mantis's debug text mod I was able to fully figure out how to get it working. I'm really glad it got a segment in the video!
I appreciate Bionicle content...but I died a little inside when you called the Matoran "Matatoran".
And he called Kopaka "Kuh-poe-kuh"
And he pronounced Lewa as "Loo-wa".
Tbf, some other people (and I think even this game too) tend to pronounce Lewa as that, so it makes sense for THAT.

Well THIS was a surprise. Quite a welcome one at that!
Quite interesting to see this game having a speedrun scene, since as you said, it's fairly... Flawed. This was actually a game I remember asking for Christmas one year, and it was one of my first to be bundled with my Xbox. It certainly was... Something. The first level boss roadblocked child me, and I don't ever remember revisiting it later on despite my love for Bionicle as a series.
That having been mentioned however, I do wanna mention some mispronounced words and names you had! While "mata-toran" is technically actually correct seeing as a lot of fans call the toa from the first year the "Toa Mata" to match with the island's name as well as to just organize them better from later toa, they're just called matoran in general. I also noticed you called Kopaka "Kapoka," but I assume that's also a simple typo that got left in the script. No harm really, just wanted to bring these up in case the information comes in handy for later Bionicle-focused videos!
Happen to find this today and this game I believe was on Xbox as well but was slightly different again, Gali’s level was pain I believe their was a bit more to do with buttons

Have you ever thought about doing something on Lego Universe? That was a *really* big part in the history of Lego games, and with the community bringing the game back to life with Darkflame, you should really give it a try.
God what a shit game this is. I played it as a kid and couldn't even get past Ta-Koro. Glad people are running it though, absolute madmen.

Ive never known anything about bionicle, except the awesome Lego set we had, composed by some if not the oldest pieces of lego we had over the years, which had one of the coolest aesthetics my child mind could think off. It was like... an arena? or some mountainous background? i have no idea tbh, i never saw it whole, only the separated pieces and some of the bionicles. Thou the bionicles were lost when i was quite young so cant recall much identification wise, i do have a stronger memory about the weapons for some reason.
Its kinda funny to see "the Lego streamer/youtuber" (for me) do bionicle stuff in that sense.
