Fun Bohrok fact #1: At 4:19 Kopaka is holding an active Levok Krana. The Tahnok which he downed has a medium blue Krana, and it’s inactive form is yellow. As such the Krana should be a Blue or Yellow. Bohrok fact #2: Also the Krana he’s holding is called a “Krana Su” and gives the Bohrok piloted by it the power of super strength, making it the Bohrok equivalent to the Kanohi Pakari. I know this because it’s the one piloting my Levok. Fact #3: I haven’t fully looked into Bionicle stuff in a few years, so half the names are probably misspelled.
Can't believe they mispluraled "Matoran" at 5:44 This is seriously your best video and your lore accuracy always gets me, where have you been in the community?
Finally... A Senza video about a game I actually care about Seriously though, your bionicle banter on the second channel is some of the best stuff. Glad to see another main channel video focused on it :)
Remember, When all you got to keep is strong, move along. Move along like I know you do and even when your hope is gone move along. Move along just to make it through.
Bruh. This brought all the nostalgia. I prided myself on my ability to build bionicles from the cover art, then I got Sidorak and it broke me. I failed.
We need a top 50 Bionicle books list! I read so many of those as a kid, they get surprisingly dark for a kids series, especially with all of the interconnected lore thrown in
Yeah this WAS impressive until you completely gave up and touch all the light stones. I’m starting to question who we should really be cancelling here...
I really liked this its one of my favorite games and I'm glad I could watch the man the myth the legend oboeshoes suffer through it I just beat it last night start to finish for the first time (I had never been able to beat kopakas level before that)
Dude this guy is fucking funny and SO deadpan and subtle. The rhyming bit got me good lol. And yeah, he does look exactly how he sounds, so what. Legitimate good recommendation from TH-cam, nice
I hated the Lewa Nuva level so much as a kid. It required such precise platforming that I thought I messed up my inputs on the joystick. I learned a bit about troubleshooting that day.
I fucking love this game's sound design. The screeches of the rakshi and bohrok are 1000% effective at being equal parts satisfying and fucking horrifying
I remember the Bionicle phase, was a big thing at one time, but I remember having some of the characters but never got into it all the way. I don't know how this got recommended to me but I'm glad it did, hilarious video, great job, awesome Senza saw it too. Got a sub from me!
I'm so glad some one remembers the great Bionicle like for real good Lego themes are scarce these days. But sense you remember this great theme you just earned a subscriber.
@oboeshoesgames 09:03 - 09:07 Actually, that level has 4 light stones. There apears one light stone on each of the outer things the boss teleports to after he teleports away from any one of them. At least that is the case for the PS2 version.
I feel like the Bohrok-Kal technically only had 1 new part, the rest was just recoloured old parts. Shame on you Lego, deceiving our small smooth child brains with shiny new colours.
This entire video is like when a game/movie has a main charachter who is from a non-English country and sprinkles in random words from their home language while speaking English the rest of the time.
Oh THIS is the bionicle game I played when I was like 6. I couldn't beat the first level and had no idea what was going on. I think I accidentally skipped the opening cutscene and was totally lost. The part where you have to kill the scorpion dude and hop across the moving platforms on the little lava river kicked child-me's ass
My favorite moment was when Hakuna Matata beat Big Kahuna in the surfboard race around Rapa Nui. Truly one of the most dolmen moments in Bionicle history!
I used to have a complete Borok set as a kid. I totally forgot what they were called, so forgive my poor spelling, and thank you to OboeShoes for reminding me.
I remember playing this game as a small kid on pc, and being completely unable to progress past the red guy lava level. And I think it was the first level in the game
they used real maori words for a lot of things at first but then moved away from that after a maori group were unhappy at lego trademarking words from an indigenous language
@@johnkittz i mean bionicle isn't set in Aotearoa. It's its own thing. Even if it was, and the words were used without thought and just looted for occasional 'aesthetic' dressing, that would be kinda silly. Partly like how a lot of people complain that, say, war movies or video games aren't "respecting the veterans" if there are too many/few [insert thing that people get mad about]. And Lego wanting to trademark words of a colonised culture for its own profit is kinda shitty on their part. Most of us on youtube scoff at say, the fine bros wanting to trademark React, and other similar nonsense. I think the Maori community was right to voice their displeasure, and Lego was right to realise they should just not do that thing again

Oh hi. Hope you are having a nice day
Oh daddy senzaaaaaaaaaa
Holy daiperboty the king is here
Love you senza!!
Now all we need is a MittenSquad comment.
You ever just wake up and think: "I want to beat BIONICLE without touching any lightstones"
y e s
If you are oboe, your first thought of the day is: "Gun"
Then you think about "I want to beat Bionicle without touching lightstones"
I did a month ago, found an old disk of it I had, bought a disk reader for my pc and played it. it was FIRE
Imagine being one of the people in the Bionicle Musical
Such a sad existence
TOROK: THE ICE BOROK
Watching the video that's from, those kids have the combined energy of a box of dead Cockroaches compared to the actors lmao.
I died of cringe at that
@@The_Novu where can I find that video?
More Bionicle content is always appreciated. Somebody has got to talk about it or else velika wins!
Velika lore is deep lore
As someone who used to have a lot of Bioncles, all of these names still sound like Oboe made them up on the spot.
Saaaaame
Oh yeah
Can confirm that he didn't. Every name said in the video, down to the name of 4-legged vehicle is completely correct.
You just casually using all the weird bionicle names like it’s nothing is hilarious.
Kinda reminds me of the Pagani Huaaaay from top gear
Is it really any weirder than star wars/ star trek / lotr fans babbling about their made up lore like it's a real thing?
No it is not.

It's a Kuurahk in Tahu Nuva's level. You can tell because of the staff of anger

Oboe's casual rhyming during the Pohatu Nuva minecart section is quite funny. You're one of my new favorite content creators

finally some good oboeshoes content

3:00 The black one is the coolest, he has like circular drills for hands!
These Bionicle words make you sound like you’re having a stroke.
I would PAY to see someone build the Skopio XV-1 successfully without looking at the instructions.
Hearing all these names is basically a simulation of having a stroke
