Laura worked just as hard at her job as Samuel did with his company, so they should of shared the housework. A relationship is a team where they help each other out, not one person doing all the work and the other doing nothing. Samuel was a lazy jerk who only cared about himself. Even we they met later he was still asking her to order him something from an online restaurant. Laura deserved better.
The key to a relationship is partnership. Everything is a partnership. It doesn't matter of you have a job, go to school and/or have kids. It's not about who should do what. It's about being a team in building a life together.

As horrible as this guy was, I honestly didn't think he could sink any lower than the day she left him. I was wrong. That ending tho. That shows no matter how low he goes, he will never change or learn from his mistakes!! Luckily she saw the light, but it sure took her many months of emotional abuse before that happened!! Doing the simplest things for the ones you love can help them the most. Such as making a simple dinner, running a bubble bath for your gf/wife, or even surprising her with her favorite take out.

The moral of the story is: A real man should never take his girlfriend/wife for granted. Men, if your woman comes home exhausted from a long and hard day’s work, always pitch in and help her out with chores whenever you can. Ask her how her day at work was. Clean the house while she’s away or have a nice dinner and a hot bath ready for her when she comes home. Never expect or demand her to cook and clean for you all the time, especially when she’s just got back from work. And especially NEVER compare her to your mother. Because if you keep demanding her around to do stuff for you and refuse to help her when she needs help, she will later feel unappreciated and leave you. She’s not your mom nor is she your maid who waits on you hand and foot, she is your significant other who works hard at her job to support you and her. So always treat her like a queen and help her out whenever you can to show her how much you love, care, and appreciate her. She’ll love you for it!
