I experienced this personally where someone was basically using me and he would only "love" me at his own convenience. He flirted and led me on into believing that he had feelings for me but when I responded to him in the same way, he'd get mad at me. I was basically used and what he did hurt my feelings and made me feel like less than a human, but now I'm learning to love myself.

And that's why our generation has become so toxic because they have started opting for a "kinda nice in between space" rather then just being friends or just being lovers ! These "casual inbetween spaces hookups n hang arounds" have caused so much toxicity n heartaches n bad mental healths
My ex boyfriend used to behave similar .... Like he used to set boundaries to our relationship . We were in relationship for almost 6yrs.... and he treated me like thrash.... Then I left him and got married with a sane guy , now I'm happy in life.... he tries to call and send me friend requests but I never respond.
