  • My fellow slingshot and music fan, Steve Jeter ( / sjeter61 ) inspired me to try my hand at this little project. Cut a credit card or similar in half mark off thirds. Mark off 20mm from one end and 10mm from the other. Make cuts from the 1/3 and 2/3 point at the 20mm end to the middle of the 10mm end. Thin cuts (as with a craft knife) produce the best sound.

Oh sheet,,,, a new noise making thing... My Je- err Juice harp is lost somewhere, but I never could jam like Otis Campbell anyway..

I LOVE it Ray!! Do you have 1 thickness there? you can , I end up w/ 3 actual pieces, superglued together,,, the main one and supports which can give it more buzz I think,

That's one thickness I'm playing - all cuts made with a knife. I cut one out with a dremel cutoff wheel, but the kerf is wider and the thing has no volume. I might have to try layering one.
