Nice video! So here is a question I had when I first started learning. Do you think it is better to learn on one harp (or even style of harp) at a time or to play multiple harps?
I would start with one at first. Add another later on and so on. I generally play variations of the same thing on different harps throughout the evening Check these out. www.theharpery.com/recommended-first-harps-for-beginners
@@bebbcorpharpery7331 Wow 4 years later ! I own at least 150+ harps now, without counting. Haha! 😬 I do the same, I like to switch harps a lot when I play for fun. For learning now I would say one or two harps, maybe a clean harp and one a little more saturated.

filagi chancellor jews harp: Where can I purchase one?
Can you list where to find these instruments? Great video I am a new subscriber.

Nice video!
So here is a question I had when I first started learning. Do you think it is better to learn on one harp (or even style of harp) at a time or to play multiple harps?
Good question. I was just thinking this.

Haha! 😬
I do the same, I like to switch harps a lot when I play for fun. For learning now I would say one or two harps, maybe a clean harp and one a little more saturated.
I've heard the pavel potkin are good for beginners. What do you think of them?
See our website for more info. www.theharpery.com/recommended-first-harps-for-beginners. They are ok, good harps but since the war the prices are getting a bit high for their quality level.
@@bebbcorpharpery7331 thank you very much that helps a lot. I really want to try jaw harps, but I'm really afraid of picking the wrong one and having an accident. But your video and website has helped narrowed down my choices a bit so thank you again I love your vids
Would you recommend a Grover on amazon? It’s like 10 bucks and it seems ok?
All in all the Grover is a bit lackluster in my opinion, but it is way better than a snoopy. The Grover will work for your first harp, but you may become bored with it after a while. For a few dollars more you could get a Potkin which is a much better starter harp in my opinion.
Dan Mois used to be made from spent 50 cal brass. Fun fact. Nowadays they're not tho.
I wish you had links to good affordable jaw harps, I noticed on eBay there are many "beginner" harps but seem to have horrible reviews. I'm afraid to pay $10-$15 for something that might sound terrible.
Check out theharpery.com. Never a bad harp. For a solid harp to grow on at first check out Glazyrin lighthouse, Ghorka Tailess no draw, Glazyrin Scythian, Glazyrin wave, Glazyrin compass.
hi id like to try thr Vandjurak Drymba, however it is sold out. will it be restocked? many thanks!
Is currently in stock. www.theharpery.com/drymba/7g9pbrj8b31km8l445307d8jeuwpx9
@@bebbcorpharpery7331 yes thanks, i saw that. my question was if the original will be available again some time. thanks.
Never available again as he died a few years back.
Could you spell the names of the harps you review? Thanks for your assistance and tips!
On TH-cam there is a guy named Peter Madcat Ruth and he starts his Georgia Buck song with a harp. Can you tell me what he is using and a possible key? Thanks
Provide a link please

It sounds like a G to me. I have a guitar and it matches the g string
Cool. G2 for high g. G1 for low
Do you think that’s a low G?
Had two of Dan Moi harps tenor, good beginners harps but unfortunately they break easily :(
Tis true.
Bought the Snoopy harp on Amazon and I literally can't get it to even make sound. It looks like the pluck isn't centered between the two forks. Could that be the problem? I'd like to get the Vandjurak Drymba but it's out of stock. Are they still being made?
Snoopy harps make little to no sound. Vandjurak has passed away and they are no longer available. Check out Glazyrin Mongol.
hello you could send me the name of your favorite harp (the black one) in this video, I want to search it on the Internet . I'm not clear about the name in the video.
The Vadjurak Drymba is sold out on your website. Do you know a way to buy it?
The Vandjurak Drymba stopped being made when the maker passes away a couple of years ago. I do not know of any place to buy them. His son made 10 Drymba which were really good, but I do not know if his son will make any more in the future.
Where do I buy a Szilagyi Chancellor? I tried their website but it was not secure and there was nowhere to purchase?
Not really sure. For recommended harps for beginners check out this. www.theharpery.com/recommended-first-harps-for-beginners
@@bebbcorpharpery7331 thanks for the quick response!
ended up ordering the Ghorka Tailess Bass from The Harpery 🖤
Are these tuned? If I play a song on harp in key of G do I need a G jaw harp? Thanks
Some are tuned and some are not. If you want to play with a song on a key, pick a harp tuned to that note. For my current recommendation on beginner harps see here www.theharpery.com/recommended-first-harps-for-beginners. They can also be tuned to note. For questions email theharpery@gmail.com
