So it's been 18 years as of 2020 as I write this.
I created a TH-cam album to save this song in. I still love it. You're telling my story. I've been married nearly 44 years. If you can get past the hard times, which every marriage has, it gets better. And better. And my beliefs tell me marriage really is forever. There's the right way for that to happen though. Just hoping for it isn't enough. God ordained marriage and has a right way. If you look, you can find it, if it doesn't find you first. I just found this song again tonight. I was listening to my iPod and it started to play in the shuffle mode. I remembered a song that I had listened to years ago whose words were how I wished someone would feel about me. I had that person in my life for almost 50 years, I was truly blessed and I hope that everyone can know this love at least once in their life. My husband died in November but I know we will be together again some day thanks to Jesus. Never give up on finding true love. It does exist.

I had heard this song on a Samuel Adams commercial and looked it up. To my astonishment this was truly a beautiful song. I showed my girl and we both agreed to have it as a wedding song! What has been difficult is that two of her 3 sisters have gotten married and we didn't want this to get to them! Now we can officially share it! I am a fan of your music and have since looked you up and enjoyed it all!

This song is timeless. It’s been popping in my mind many times. Beautiful song Tim sings. Lovely video to accompany the song. First time i saw video. I suppose everyone has a differing video in their mind when listening to the song. Song is a keeper as is the video - whether this one or your own.

My now husband & I were in a long distance relationship and found this song through the Sam Adam's commercial, a few months after playing this song on repeat he ended up proposing with this playing in the background. Naturally it became our wedding song & flash forward two years we sing it to our 8 month old son at bedtime. Thank you for creating an adorable song that we can all enjoy!
On 01/24/15 I opened up to my soul-mate. I expressed my feelings towards him and explained the impact he had on my life during a period when I had very little desire to continue living! He had given me hope and opened my mind, eyes, and heart to realize I was strong enough to over come the numerous obstacles I was faced with day by day! When he spoke, his words were like snapping fingers making me snap out of my hopeless dazed mindset! When I shared how his inspiring words had once given me the push I needed to keep trying even though his words weren't directed to me! With tears flooding both of our eyes, goosebumps covering our bodies, and hearts beating faster and faster by the second, I expressed how I want to show him light when all he sees is darkness, I want to show him he deserves unconditional non judge mental, and never ending love. I want to be the person who gives him hope when all hope is loss, I want to bring true happiness to his life, and I want to be the woman that changes his life the one that makes a difference. All he could choke up was "I'm so overwhelmed by you!" On 01/25/15 I took him to his favorite bar and before we got out of the car he played this song for me singing every word as tears poured down my cheeks with my jaw dropped in overwhelming amazement I listened and at that very moment we both realized our purpose of existence is to fulfill one another's life! I heard this song when I was going through a hard time. I typed down "How to deal with being overwhelmed" on TH-cam. However, this song popped up. I was a senior at that time. The next, the very next day, the song popped up on a Yuengling commercial. My favorite beer lol. Anyway, I forgot about the song, I totally couldn't remember the song for the next three years. I picked the guitar back up about a month ago and I started making a song, well, I strummed a C chord and played a few finger plucks. One of it sounded like the plucking in this song and the lyrics came back to me and I quickly searched in and here i am listening to your song at 2:37 a.m. I love this song, with your permission I would love to sing this song to my future wife, I'll play it to her before I ask her to marry me.

Well, I can't stand when people make nonsense comments on my video. Your idea that marriage "is more for people who aren't in love" is absurd. The purpose is not that a couple "needs" a legal contract to stay together - but simply desire to take their love to the ultimate extreme, abandoning their own personal desires if need be to see their lover's life fulfilled. The problem isn't marriage - it's people. I love being married, I love my wife and I love our life together.

I once met a girl who redefined what the word beautiful meant to me. We spent two years together and I have never been happier in my life than I was when I was with her.
