This song reminds me of something special that happened to us. Hoobastank were my mum's favourite band when I was growing up, so she would always play their records in the car on the way to school. When her mother died, we used the money in her will to go to the States, as a reward for the stress she went through with her mother's declining health. I remember it was on the 27th of July that we were in a mall in Orange, LA, when we saw something on a billboard - it was a poster for a free public Hoobastank concert. On that day - which happened to be my mum and dad's wedding anniversary - we went to see our favourite band who are renowned for being on an endless world tour, with no planning whatsoever. It was as if there was some guardian angel who just wanted to see my mum happy again, and it worked. It was against all odds but it happened and it was one of the best days of my life, even though I do not remember it very well as I was quite young at the time.
I first heard this song from them live in concert. I hadn't heard of Hoobastank, and had gone for another band that was playing with them. I remember being absolutely blown away by this song when I first heard it there. Now I don't even remember who else played at that concert, but I remember Hoobastank singing this song. That was the most memorable part, and it still sticks with me all these years later. Truly one of the greatest songs ever made.

From India.. tried listening to some new music on Spotify and other song apps but it all felt garbage so I am here now.
This song reminds me of something special that happened to us. Hoobastank were my mum's favourite band when I was growing up, so she would always play their records in the car on the way to school. When her mother died, we used the money in her will to go to the States, as a reward for the stress she went through with her mother's declining health.
I remember it was on the 27th of July that we were in a mall in Orange, LA, when we saw something on a billboard - it was a poster for a free public Hoobastank concert. On that day - which happened to be my mum and dad's wedding anniversary - we went to see our favourite band who are renowned for being on an endless world tour, with no planning whatsoever.
It was as if there was some guardian angel who just wanted to see my mum happy again, and it worked. It was against all odds but it happened and it was one of the best days of my life, even though I do not remember it very well as I was quite young at the time.

I first heard this song from them live in concert. I hadn't heard of Hoobastank, and had gone for another band that was playing with them. I remember being absolutely blown away by this song when I first heard it there. Now I don't even remember who else played at that concert, but I remember Hoobastank singing this song. That was the most memorable part, and it still sticks with me all these years later. Truly one of the greatest songs ever made.
