Just wow! I recently had a run of bad health ( capricious youth and heavy drinking caused major damage in my adulthood ) I had to have my wisdom teeth extracted. The physical pain mixed with the alcohol withdrwals ( which are a cruel form of self induced torture ) were causing a large amount of anxiety stopping just short of full blown intense panic attack vibes. As I was sitting getting ready to begin surgery this song comes on the radio in the office, and I was immediately taken back to 2005 and felt a rush of relief course through my veins. I got choked up and teary eyed listening to those words, that melody and her incredible voice as I took her advice and just started breathing and I was comforted instantly and got through the surgery just fine. Now anytime I get too stressed I just hum this chorus to myself and start to mellow out. The power of music is amazing!

It WAS terrifying getting in that chair for my first chemo treatment, not knowing how I would tolerate treatment, not knowing if it would work, so I get it! I listened to this song constantly during my time in the grippy sock hotel the summer before I turned 18. I’m 30 now, and though the memories of that rough patch in my life are still there, I see this song from a more positive perspective. Life and time will always move forward, so if you’re feeling overwhelmed by it all there’s nothing wrong with sitting down and just breathing and taking it all in.

I listened to this song constantly during my time in the grippy sock hotel the summer before I turned 18. I’m 30 now, and though the memories of that rough patch in my life are still there, I see this song from a more positive perspective. Life and time will always move forward, so if you’re feeling overwhelmed by it all there’s nothing wrong with sitting down and just breathing and taking it all in.
