@@Shubh11.11 Yes. They said they want someone who is not having offers in hand so that they can have guarantee that they shall join only in their company.
Alag chutiyapa hai. Why should salary be negotiable? Isn't there a particular CTC they are offering for the required position. Sabzi Mandi bana rakha hai
I am telling you this as a communication and career coach, this is a very sensitive question which needs a sensible answer. If you say yes, many companies may reject you thinking you may use their offer letter as well to get a job in some other company. They either find you disloyal or they look at you as a confused person. Only if the company has no other good candidate, they consider someone with other offers in hand.
Trust me, telling the truth might benefit or harm u....No harm in saying no offer( say it without emotion ..dont get all tensed..tats definitely a dealbreakr). Now u shud b smart enough to decide based on various factors!
Just say, I do but haven’t committed yet. This way you seem valuable and not desperate. If they are interested in you most likely they’ll give you better and quicker offer. No low balls. I did this in the past when i didnt even have an offer hoping for a faster offer and it worked. They stopped questioning half way and got the offer in 30 minutes after the interview. Good luck 👍🏼
you can say this if they have called you for the position. but if you were the one who applied , then play safe . instead you can quote an expected CTC higher than the one you have on hand.
Lol. Nope. I did say this once, their answer was the opposite. If you're taking their offer and are negotiating with us, what is the guarantee that you'll accept our offer ? You will take our offer and go for a different company again. HRs are way too complicated. They never want to hire, they always look to reject. Your chance of getting hired is all about not getting rejected. All these ideals and good behaved HRs and interviewers exist only on social media for BS ESG score, in reality it is the opposite.
You don’t have to be apologetic by saying things like you are not interested in other companies. Companies interview multiple candidates for the same role so even candidates have the right to interview with multiple candidates. Don’t apologise by saying I’m only interested in this role. Ever heard an employer say we interviewed other candidates but are not as interested in them as you ?
There are no right or wrong answers..it always depends on the position , market situation and the management as well... we can't generalise these responses
Never ever name the companies or what they are offering at any interviews. You will either be seen as a showoff or they will think you are influenced by their competitor or smaller companies. Companies with IP and trade secrets especially get on guard if you're being offered jobs by other companies. It is very common in my country for small businesses to do this to steal recipes for example. They will send one of their own employees to work for a competitor in the kitchen and get the recipes all memorized then copy and use it there. Similar things happen where things like a client list is available. This is something that HR takes very seriously depending on the industry. Banking jobs that involve sales for example or back office jobs in a head office where you have access to rates of various things. Info security is taken seriously. B
If you answer this, HR will think that if she can reject that job, then she can reject this too .. and because of money. HR thinks negetive most of the time. So we shud not get too much honest with the answers. It's better to say no, rather than saying this. Thanks me later.😊
interviewers perspective for yes 1- candidate is not sure of one job 2- alrady has offer and still looking for more offers 3- there is more chanses that candidate will looking other jobs while working here 4 candidate can leave job if he gets other good offer
most of the corporate companies are Feeding Overeaten Person than Needy Person. this is why our unemployment rate is rising. is it necessary to lie if you wanted to get Hired?.
Can you tell if being on bench in existing company for more that 6-12 months is a red mark during other job interview process as the existing company itself is not coming up with more projects and due to recession we are loosing jobs….pls help how to give a positive yet skillful response for this situation
Hi mam, recently i got NCNS from my company but it's not my fault, they forcely given NCNS. Past 5 months no project for me. So they taken as NCNS. I need to raise complaint how is it possible
I'm a BCom graduate recently graduated but I have a language backlog from 1st semester and that is the only backlog I have rest of the semester I have cleared every subject and language in first attempt so what should I put in my resume? Ma'am can you please help me out with this

Yeah. Just say I have 2 job offers. Then she will ask what's the package. Then she will say ok we can match the package. Then u say I want atleast more to give u more priority. Then she will increase little more. So go wherever you get paid more. Yeh sab bologe toh koi package bhh nahi badhayenge
Me in the actual interview "Abba Jabba Jabba"
I said yes, and said the same answer. I got rejected because of this.
Did they tell you this?

Correct, I agree with their reply, many candidates take offers n go in the market to negotiate on offers

It doesn't matter. Eventually it is requirment of the job and budget in hand .
Instead you can say I already gave interview in other companies and I’m in the wait list. This is the balance answer you can all use in your interview

Tbh there is no right or wrong in an interview. Sometimes your plan works and sometimes it doesn't. It's all luck 😅
Never ever say... That you have offer in hand... HR always don't want them to be an option for the employee .....
it actually depends.
HRs are humans not machines that they will accept fixed type of answers.
Question: if the position didn't make any interest why do you accept the offer? How do tackle this?
U r not supposed to say like this. Just say if u have another offer in hand. They will ask u to share offer letter
What if we say “yes I do have couple of offers in hands (I don’t want to disclose). Still I am looking for good opportunities
Never say "couple of " ..just say I have one offer
you can say this if they have called you for the position.
but if you were the one who applied , then play safe . instead you can quote an expected CTC higher than the one you have on hand.
Not all the interviewers think like that. Also it depends on the situation and the position. I think the best and safest way to is to lie.

Areee just say No and when u get selected and have an offer negotiate on the package with the HR
A lot of IT companies will not have much view job role and responsibilities, as the candidates are hired to common pool

Approach an advocate to discuss the weight of your case, then decide whether to leave company or to talk to upper management
Just have the proof ready that your are logging in and you are in compliance of their procedure
