I agree, please no false advertising! But essences are great. A great perfumer can create as accord, of rose for example, that is either easier to mix, better smelling, or better performing than simple rose oil. Like you said, they can create here an Iris smell while removing the things we don't like about Iris. I heard from another youtuber I like, Babbs, that mixing certain incenses like benzoin and opopnax with ylang-ylang, you can re-create that iris-lipstick vibe. . . natural ways to create accords better than the originals!

he meant iris concentrate 😅 not concrete
Just bought a 150ml bottle for 55 euros. 👀👍
Smells great ,for an hour or two .....
Dhi more for me
This is a Fantastic scent! It’s by far one of my most complimented perfumes ever! Women tended to stop me at the Mall to ask me what I was wearing! Simply EXTRAORDINARY
I thought that Valentino Uomo has other ingredients/notes.
This is a beautiful fragrance. I'm not really sure what you mean when you talk about a "mathematical" fragrance.
Well Aaron, the Uomo has been totally reformulated and has since 2021 no sweetness hat all. No more chocolate, coffee or anything like that, no leather. The sad thing, is that stores are selling the new without having the information. Even they list the old accords. Its a shame, another great scent is gone....
What’s a good alternative?
@@matthewagnoli20632021 reformulation is still a bomb fragrance
@Oshianis I think it's better than the older version lmao.
One of my favorite designer fragrances! I'd be really interested to see what you think of the intense version! The new crap Valentino has been producing is absolute garbage bubblegum bullshit and its such a shame
Interestingly, i love this one, but do not like dior homme at all. None of its flankers smell nice on me😪
Dior Homme has a bitterness almost acidic note to it.
Great review Aaron, bring back the all black background
Bruh what are these notes? There's coffee, cacao, leather and hazelnut in there
I would love to wear this one and I am a woman!
Intense is fucking INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Slept-on like a mf, but performance is absolute shit. And smells like shit on clothes as it soaks in too much ruining the beauty of the scent.
Cocao Powder + Buttery Iris + Smooth Orange Rind + Vanilla
