Yeah, Aaron is one of a kind. Also a very talented perfumer, I am wearing now Onyx and love it.
Love love love listening to ATH breakdown a fragrance. I’m new to the fragrance game later in life (over 50). But with people like Aaron educating the masses, I’m getting up to speed quickly on great options and how to think about fragrances.

The opening was a bit of a shock honestly , but 5 minutes later I fell in love. It’s beautiful.
it is absolutely shining in the air. which is what people around also smell -it's the sillage that matters, not what I smell with the nose on a test stripe or the skin.
Yeah the opening was crazy spicy for me but then drydown was AMAZING. Freaking yummy.
opposite for me. as the opening fades it becomes too sweet for me
This is one of the few designer scents I truly enjoy. It just epitomizes fall/winter so perfectly.
The cost itself is on the upper end of what I would pay for it, but I wouldn't grumble too much paying MSRP for it. If it was $60-80 for 100ml, it would be phenomenal.
those frickin designers make those fragrances for 5 dollars max but charge us hundreds 😈👿🍆🖕🏿

I think you read the notes breakdown of regular Spicebomb, but reviewed the Extreme flanker actually. It's a tobacco vanilla fragrance spiced with caraway and pepper. You almost figured it out. So, it makes sense that you love it, because you also love Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille.
i smell 0 tobacco. his description seems more accurate

Can't wait for your review on my middle eastern perfumes that I got from Dubai👌. We have the same taste in perfumes there will be a lot of testers from ASQ and Arabian Oud in there. 💖

I know this fragrance is marketed to men but I love this scent it gives me Tom Ford nior extreme vibes.
I agree. Got TF noir Extreme after I ran out of my spicebomb extreme bcos they were so similar.
Likewise. I wear it too, but gives me Tobacco Vanille vibes. It's probably my most complimented perfume despite being a men's cologne.
Which do you prefer? I personally prefer noir extreme, it’s just such a rich & delicious scent and more unique imo.

Same here. Spicebomb is perfect without the sweetness added to it. SBE is still good tho.
One of my favorite fragrances. One of my go-to for a night out during the fall and winter. Temperatures have to be below 55 degrees for me to enjoy. If that's the case, then I can wear at any time or any occasion as long as it is cooler than 55 degrees Fahrenheit

This is my go to everyday, inexpensive fragrance so that I don't use up my Naxos, Side Effect, etc. This and Layton. But even though Layton is more expensive its more of an everyday fragrance for me as well. They are so versatile. When I want something more special I go to Carlisle. When Im in the mood Layton Exclusif. If I could wear one fragrance all day everyday it would be Naxos but that would get expensive. However when I get my second bottle of Naxos, I'll wear my first bottle more. Since it's my favorite I want that first bottle to last. I've sampled herod multiple times and I'll get that to out in the rotation for fall 2023.

@redlevantinist8947 Yeah you are actually correct. Layton and Naxos are my signature scents. I wrote that about spicebomb prematurely but whenever I've had females compare the fragrances in my collection they love all my fragrances except Spicebomb lmbo. Layton smells so good to me I wear it year round even though it's not a summer fragrance. Layton, imo simply smells so amazing it defies season.

Yess! Where I'm from you can smell the original Spicebomb everywhere. Amazing scent, but that kills it for me.
Turns out Extreme fits me better anyway. Less neon-bright and bubblegum screamy. Has more of a mellow, mature edge to it.
Really? I thought the exact opposite, Extreme was too sweet for me, I prefer the freshness of the original.
@@Zenboy23 Yeah, that's what I got anyway from wearing them side by side. Not that the original is sweeter but there's a really piercing brightness to it that gives it a more youthful edge I think.

I was really hoping you would do this one, Aaron. SBE is one of my absolute faves- especially from a designer- and I’ll never be without it. Some niche houses have done their own interpretations of it, but I think the original is perfect as-is, especially for the price and performance! I was wondering what your take on it was. Thank you! Yep. Just turned 40 and it's my cold weather signature despite being a men's cologne. It's completely unisex to me.

Ah spicebomb, one of my favorite from designer side. I recommend you Azzaro wanted by night to check out! It's a wonderful put together fragrance with a juicy mandarin and tobacco opening and a gorgeous vanilla dry down. It's also very cheap so I would love to see you unraveling how many layers there is to it.

Don‘t know by night has a really bad synthetic compound to it that i really didn’t like. Ill bet with you he wont find it good at all, I may be wrong though

Hi Aaron, I'm enjoying your videos, particularly because you're a professional. I'm in the world you described, which is mostly bored of department store fragrances. They all do something similar that just don't like for some reason. I'm also in my 50's, which might have something to so with it. However, I ran into Caron fragrances recently and I'd love to know what you think about Caron Pour Homme and 3rd Man. They're very simple and old school but I just love them. Keep up the good work and thank you again. David
I have the original and it smells like Christmas to me. I think thats the best way to describe it because thats all I think of when I put it on. I literally wear it around holidays only. I dont know if I want this one even though everyone says it’s great, including you. Im not too big one having multiple flankers of frags because then I pick out a favorite and only end up wearing the favorite. But aside that, good review!

I have the original spicebomb but I don’t wear it. It smells good but not my vibe. As boring as the bleu de Chanel line is the eau de parfum is my favorite fragrance and I own quite a few fragrances.

V&R is my new favourite house since I first smelled Spicebomb. I'm a happy owner of three bottles from them and around two dozen samples.
Excellent excellent video. One of my best in my collection. Worth a blind buy.
Initio’s Rehab has a very similar top note but dries down with creamy vanilla..a lot of people compare them

Spicebomb has everything to be a perfect winter scent for. Warm, cozy, sweet, projects and lasts and lasts. For me its a 10/10 :)

@@SammyBoy806 This fragrance imo is still too warm and spicy for summer nights. I would wait until at least autumn. But if you like you can go ahead and try it for summer nights ands see whether you like it

I really enjoy the way you describe and critique a fragrance. You seem so excited about whatever you are talking about . As for this particular fragrance, I have tried it multiple times and I just don't like it. I love the original Spice Bomb but this one just doesn't do it for me.
The beginning and the dry down are totally different starts off spicy then dry down is a vanilla bomb defo not a clubbing fragrance more of a winter family time fragrance or even out for a meal in winter time it's very unique I will say that def one for the collection.
This last over 9 hrs on my cloths and I work in a chilled are where cold air fans are blowing for 8hrs of my shift lol
I found a very good combination of 2 fragrances for me spicebomb Extreme and Dior sauvage the 2 together are mega!

I take the heavy scents on the bottom and the light ones with ambroxan on top and you can of course put it on the skin I mostly put it on the clothes

I can see the appeal but after smelling it, it’s not for me. It smells too woody/oldish for my liking. I went with Azzaro the most wanted instead.
I totally don't get the hype. Maybe it smells good on others, but off my skin, this smells like Cremo Spice and Black Vanilla and also has similarities with Reyanne Tradition's Insurrection II Wild. What do they have in common? They all smell cheap like some sweet, feminine lotion.
A cold weather juggernaut, a bit too sharp for my taste I prefer the original and fresh versions. I have all three and it’s my least favorite due to its versatility. Amazing as always, educational and concise. Take care and be well

I wish you had done a dry down test because this best I've ever worn for that. If you smell your clothes the next day you lose the spice but your left with an amazing perfume. Only negative is that I personally go nose blind to this quite quickly but still draw in complements. One lady literally shouted omg what's that smell! I was thinking she hated it lol but she loved it.
Good review but I'm surprised you didn't mention the vanilla in it. On the dry down that's all you're left with.
There is a lot in there I didn't mention,. The idols. The white Ionone. The Elemi. The tart grapefruit notes. We do have to edit this down from what it is as I do go on a bit
