Hello everyone! Here’s my first «back to school» video, which is how I prepare for a new academic year! Hopefully some of these tips can help you feel a bit more prepared when you go back to school this autumn ☺️ I’m officially starting my first year of university in a week, and I’m using these methods myself this year!

A good tip for people that are tight on money and need to buy textbooks is to actually wait until classes start! There are a lot of classes that say having the text book is required in the syllabus, but then teach you everything you need to know in class so you rarely end up touching it. Obviously textbooks are great as a reference but if you don't have the cash to spare, I say save it and wait to see if it is something you will actually use before spending and arm and a leg for it!!

You have a point but you could also buy used textbooks and sell your old I do that every year and save so much money
Also look for pdfs online! Even if it's an edition off it'll still work

Yessss 🤧 but calligraphy is actually simple if u take ur time to understand. Down strokes are thick, while upstrokes are thin. The only “difficult” part is understanding when and how much pressure to put on the utensil
@@sg-ou4ws that's great for most people but for me, I have a really heavy hand and I put a lot of pressure into writing. I've tried calligraphy but it didn't work out for me purely because I can't let off of the pen enough to have a difference between strokes.

>Keep 2 notebooks. Take one in class and make it as messy as you want, just get as the info down. Neatly rewrite the notes after wards.
I also like to transfer my revised notes to the the computer before my final

Start a new academic year:
1/ Go through and organize last year’s notes
> the ones useful to store / keep / put in a binder / throw
2/ figure out your planning method
> Planner + daily schedule
> Planner + weekly schedule
> Bullet journal
> Digital planner
3/ Check lists before the start of the year
> things to buy
> tasks to do
4/ get new textbooks and familiarize yourself with them
> get familiar with the chapter + structures
5/ make study check lists
> each chapters which will be covered
> make boxes to mark: notater, opgaver and flash cards
> track your progress
5/ Set up a study plan
> based on your schedules
> write down things to do on each day based on the subject
6/ Set academic goals
> specific goals
> general goals
> long term goals
Take time to write how and why to keep you motivated !
Never thought I would watch back to school videos at 4:00 am in late March...

Try your best to befriend them as soon as possible. I do that with all of my teachers. It makes it a lot easier.

I am starting my second year in college in September! I want to give you a small tip I learn the past year: I don't know if it applies to you, but I experienced last year that in some classes we did not use the (whole) textbook and in other classes more information was giving in other ways, for example during the first lesson my Anatomy teacher gave us an handout with the information we needed to study for the exam instead of using the book and during the lessons she explained that information. I wish you the best of luck at university and I love your channel ❤

1. Organise last year's notes
2. Figure out which planning method you want to use
3. Write down checklists
4. Get your textbooks and familiarise yourself with them
5. Make study checklists for all the sub-chapters
6. Set up a temporary daily schedule
7. Set your goals for the new academic year

I think that maybe you should ask someone a grade above of you if you can use there textbook! I got my 7th grade Math Textbook from my good friend for free! Some might consider selling them for the grades below so I recommend to ask someone to reuse their textbook!

This is how kids in my school get their AP textbooks for the year. Upperclassmen sell them for half price (30/40$ sometimes cheaper if the student likes you) to underclassmen taking the course.
lol I'm lucky, my bro is just one year older than me so i always reuse his textbooks, guides, and even notes (i make my own but its really helpful referencing them esp cuz he notes down advice or tips from teachers that can be very handy) so i end up saving a ton of money like that, ngl textbooks are so unnecessarily pricey

I've been watching a ton of your videos for the past couple of days, and let me just say, you are truly inspiring. I've never been a school person, I've always struggled with completing homework, I can never pay attention in class, and I have absolutely zero motivation by the end of the first month. You, however, are the complete opposite. It's insane to me how you can keep up with all of your schoolwork and still have motivation throughout the whole year. I want to be that way myself. I've ordered the whiteline notebooks and have gotten a few other items to help me rewrite my notes, and make them look at least a fourth as good as yours! I feel like doing this will actually motivate me to study with such beautiful, time-consuming notes, as well as keep me organized! I'm the least organized person on the planet, but that will hopefully change with your extremely helpful tips! Who knows, maybe instead of D's this year, I could get all A's :)
I also make sure that my working place at home is in the best condition! If it is messy or I don't feel inspired there I loose so easily my focus and just get anxiety. And I loved your video! 😍 Such a fresh idea and so inspirational for me for my last academic year! 😊

If you don’t want to use a planner, use a notebook and make an ultimate to-do list for each day. You don’t have to be confined to a schedule yet you still have a goal set to get your work done.

I'm incoming 11th grade and I want to be more organized. But I cant take for every subject an own Notebook. Thats a way too heavy, isnt it? How Can I solve this?
I've seen some notebooks that have different sections for your different subjects! I've used a 3 subject notebook and it's a decent size, but depending on how many notes you take you might need another kind.
Or if you have a locker keep your notebooks in there. In between classes you can grab them for whichever classes you have next.
What I do is use a binder for all my classes. I have 2 sections for each subject, one for notes, and one for handouts, tests, etc. it’s so much more organized then notebooks because everything is in one place.
