Came up with an idea the other day. It is practical to color code your spiral notebooks to see which is which when you have them in a pile with the spiral back towards you. You can do this easily by tying a small band or string to the spiral, each band a different color. Or you can tie in a little label where you write the subject you've chosen for each notebook. One idea is to tie in one of those key labels that are rectangular plastic in diffrent colors. Second idea: you may take a sturdy box - cornflakes parcels are too weak - I have used cat sand boxes from the Pussy brand. Maybe Everclean is an option, but can't tell as we did not buy cat sand from them. Cut away one of the short sides, put it on a shelf and place your spiral notebooks in it, standing, back against you, so they will not fall out on the sides. If you color mark the spirals, it is easy to find the right one directly as you need it. You can also color code them by painting a whish of nailpolish in diffrent colors onto the spirals. And of course you may dress the boxes in fine paper, waxcloth, fabric or wallpaper and cover with a surface of clear gesso, varnish or other protective sealer.

How i take notes: Takes pen/pencil, then try's to write neatly but turns out really messy and bad so i stopped writing. Then i realized that i had to write a very long story with a short period of time. I then said "Oh shoot I'm dead" because i write slow and really messy

I love your work! Im currently a new middle schooler ( 6th grade ). I always watched your videos in 5th grade and had no reason to use them because my classes were much different. But now that im learning all types of new things (I even wiggled my way into advanced math so im starting to need to write notes). You could write messy notes in class and then rewrite them at home - this will make them neater for when you need to revise the subject and will help you remember it as you are rewriting it at your own pace

This is a very good video on the Cornell Method, most other videos I've seen on this method are severely lacking and discouraging. I'm a firm believing in Post-It Notes also, they're a lifesaver, the smallest ones make perfect tabs in a pinch.
when i’m in class, i take very messy notes, but when i get home i write all over again (while studying) and making it cute ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (impossible for me to do that when teacher’s speaking)
Wait until you get to college lol. I took 12 AP classes in high school but always tried to find a way to make good notes or take a picture of the board before they move on then find other resources online from different AP teachers who are kind enough to post slides online for their students. That’s the great thing about AP, you may have a shit AP teacher which defeats the purpose but at least you know that the entire country has to be learning the same thing considering we will all be taking the “same” exam.
Tip:- just do the part of giving heading in capitals in a bit condensed way and then choose a colour for your lesson (she already told about that) and rest do it like you always do.... And it will look fabulous I do like that and it works 😊😊😊😊

It's hard since in our school you have to copy fast and learn at the same time
same! but I recommend using a notebook for taking notes, then writting a summary of the lessons in another notebook. It's actually really tiring to do it, I know, but it's more productive for my opinion.
I know I won't be able to use these tips since we are always given handouts for every topic but this is satisfying.

This is a very good video on the Cornell Method, most other videos I've seen on this method are severely lacking and discouraging. I'm a firm believing in Post-It Notes also, they're a lifesaver, the smallest ones make perfect tabs in a pinch.

when i’m in class, i take very messy notes, but when i get home i write all over again (while studying) and making it cute ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (impossible for me to do that when teacher’s speaking)
Wait until you get to college lol. I took 12 AP classes in high school but always tried to find a way to make good notes or take a picture of the board before they move on then find other resources online from different AP teachers who are kind enough to post slides online for their students. That’s the great thing about AP, you may have a shit AP teacher which defeats the purpose but at least you know that the entire country has to be learning the same thing considering we will all be taking the “same” exam.

Tip:- just do the part of giving heading in capitals in a bit condensed way and then choose a colour for your lesson (she already told about that) and rest do it like you always do.... And it will look fabulous I do like that and it works 😊😊😊😊
You can have two notebooks, one for sloppy fast writing and the other for the fancy writing.
