Could figure out how to comment but lacie babin is my name. Am I still entered for winning the 1,000.00 prize?
Ramsey+ is 💯 Worth it!!!
I watched the entire time also! Could not keep up with the chat stream. I was focused on listening to the speakers! Man, I hope I didn't miss my name:(
Hi Everyone! The names of the winners are listed in this video's description box.
Very motivating live stream!
Everyone’s been preaching investing lately as a source of passive income but with a 70 hour weekly jobs and limited knowledge of financial instruments, how can I actually stay on top of things, I see every TH-cam video saying BUY BUY! But when and how do I sell for profit at the right time?
I also think everyone needs a Margin of Safety in their portfolios and just remember, It's time in the market versus timing the market.
Well all i know is that you cannot go wrong taking profit at near high. No one ever went broke taking a 10% loss. It's best if you consult with a fiduciary advisor to get informed buying & selling decisions
De-risk your portfolios, shore up your core holdings, and take some profits while balancing your portfolio allocations. I’d also suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.
I've been considering getting one, but haven't been proactive about it. Can you recommend your advisor? I could really use some assistance.
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations as everyone's situation varies. Consider independent financial advisors like “Sharon Lynne Hart” I've worked with her for 9 years and highly recommend her. Check if she meets your criteria.
i started tearing when john was talking about not being able to breathe. good lord… spot on. hoping i get there soon.
I have been divorced and very low income and followed you from 2005 to 2017 and paid off over $50K in debt except for car. Remarried in 2017( STILL FOLLOW YOU) my fiance had over 400K in debt and was upside down with his bills and income. I taught my fiance the budgeting methods and debt snowball BEFORE MARRIAGE. I helped my fiance set up a budget for his finances Before we combined finances(late 2016) bought my 14 YO daughter you video series for children- NOW 2024 and married 7 years. We are budgeting monthly and currently contributing 15% to our 401Ks and 50% extra on our house should be paid off no later than 2029. I am 58 and 70% disabled. YOU CAN DO IT!
That is an amazing story, thanks for sharing! All the best for you and your family!
THAT IS AWESOME! thanks for sharing your story! I just discovered Ramsey last August and had about 40K in debt in credit cards + car, will now be debt free by end of 2024 and am 30yrs old and NEVER GOING BACK!
@@nathanjoseph9204congrats how did you do this that quick??
👏👏👏👏❤️
@@authenticvibeswithmaureen we paid money on our bills we use the baby steps, and I should also say we have always and still Tithe to our church. In addition, we support a young missionary, and travel to Guatemala to build houses every year. and I have a few medical expenses as well. God has totally blessed us. We do have Two. Decent jobs. My husband has been at his for 33 years. Our income has ranged from 75K to 130 K during this time
I paid off 10k of debts, and now have a 5k emergency fund! I make 38k a year. It’s possible. I’m a 23y male, and I own my own home
Great job!!!
Wow
Outstanding
Whenever i am being tempted to buy new car.. I just watch dave ramsey😅😂😂
Exact reason I am here tonight😂😭
I found my tribe.
Me too.Every time l want to l check if l have save enough money for my emergencies.
Nun wrong with getting a new car just try and buy used within your means if you needa. Car you need a car we live in America it’s car centric
So funny you said that. I was ready to buy a new car and started listening to him and I will go and buy me an used car cash. Better in gas than the one I have because I’m traveling far to work. I’m so blessed I came across them. Wake up call for sure.
Asian here. I sold my $9k car to get out of debt. Thank you Dave and team❤
You’re a Doctor, why did you have to sell your car?
I am turning 43 this year! How I wish I followed Dave Ramsey from the beginning I hear about him. Now, I sm drowning from debt & just now get a second job and hoping & praying that I can get myself out of this misery. Baby Step 1 here I come. 🙏
I am 46 and also have debt (mostly mortgage), have taken wrong steps, and now have to turn it around. We can do it!!!
43 & on step 1 too 😊
God bless yall for this! Real people are hard to come by.
For privacy reasons and basically because of TH-cam’s new policy, fwd your comments to my, e - mail
You can do it!
My husband and I listened to the money game before it was even financial peace and Dave Ramsey. We listened every day for decades . we followed all the baby steps. the way we made it not hard was to treat it as a grand adventure, a complete competition, we kept colorful charts up on our refrigerator. We ended up with 3 foot high stack of notebooks filled with every expense down to a stick of gum, we got cookbooks from the library and pennypinching books from the library we incorporated every reasonable cheapskate habit we could. we learned so many life hacks that we continue to use today. we can cook about every cultural food there is practically from scratch now. we shared our journey with everyone. of course, back then everyone thought we were nuts. There was no TH-cam and minimalist lifestyle back then. when we bought our foreclosed condo and paid off the 10 yr mortgage in two years and 11 months, all of a sudden we became the money experts in the family. Our families and friends still live a lifestyle that is more lavish than ours and have significant debt but we have plenty and sleep peacefully. The Yolo lifestyle just became so meaningless and shallow to us over the years. The pleasure of our charity work now is beyond measure.
Thanks for sharing, may God bless you and bring increase to you and your wife because of your humility
Amen!
We are on Baby Step 6...Baby Step was 2 was the longest and hardest, but it was worth it! We now work from home and own our own business!!! Thank you Dave!!!
The $60,000 house in the 70's was paid off on a $2.50 an hour job. FYI, The average person in the 70's did not use or have a credit or debit card.
debit cards really arent the issue, it spends the same as cash. debit cards dont create debt. credit cards, mortgages, car loans, student loans are all issues.
I remember when the debit card came out and the check book disappeared its all geared to make it to easy to spend your money I went back to cash after my husband died and in 10 years bought house car no debt when I get check I only leave in enough to pay mortgage and bills , I get money automatically taken off for investments and take rest in cash for groceries gas and coffee can cause I believe you should always have cash on hand
How???? Teach me! And how long?
“If behavior is the getaway car, belief is in the driver’s seat” is my favorite new quote. Thank you, Jade.
I'll have our van paid off in April. I am NOT getting a new car like I used to do. I'm going to keep my van with NO car note until the wheels fall off. This will free up 600 a month for us, one less big bill to have to pay.
Save for car repairs too
@@user-po6vc9xv3k of course. 🤷♀️
A car repair here and there is STILL better than having a monthly car note.
@user-po6vc9xv3k of course. Car repairs here and there are still better than a monthly note.
Jade is the energy that this platform needed!! Very refreshing!! Go Jade!!
She is pretty awesome
I really appreciate hearing Jade use Bible verses to drive home her point.
I was about say if I can lose weight I can start to pay down these dumb credit cards it’s a lot of discipline but it is very similar. Plus lots of times weight loss helps with not eating out so there goes that habit 👍🏼
Even when you’ve reached baby step 7 or in the process of the baby steps, listening to these guys preach the same thing every single week every single year should be enough to prove that anyone can do what they say and be in a much better place not just with money, but everything else too
Got half way through and realised I’m not going to change my financial situation by watch another TH-cam financial talk. So, off my butt, got all my bills together, bank statements etc and got to work sorting out reality and aiming for freedom. I’ll watch the other half later, promise!
John absolutely killed his segment
He always does. He is such a valuable Ramsey team member.
Hearing someone else say that keeping up with the Jones's is stupid and to live like nobody else now so you can live like nobody else later is reassuring. Self-image is huge in society now. The type of car I drive does not dictate my worth. If I focus on what makes me happy and not someone else I can succeed. I'm 26 and not in any debt. I plan to keep it that way no matter what anybody says! I hope this mindset stays with me throughout life and becomes concrete. Thank you guys for your wisdom and support! Keep it up!
i am actually from canada and i love the ramsy show so much ..i really need it for life
So good. My husband and I are doing baby steps 1&2 this year!!!! Every penny counts when you only make 20k a year
I think you have an income problem more than a spending problem.
You’re both young, you have to increase your income not just to get out of debt but to build wealth because when you’re in retirement you will need it. You should have a budget even if you’re alone. Empower yourself.
Thank you for the incredible inspiration,I’ve been paralyzed in my thoughts since I lost my husband,we had much support while he was ill for 19 years. I chose to quit my job because my health was compromised trying to care for him at home along with my children. I know I made this decision on purpose because I felt God was calling me to trust in his providence. I am mortgage free , no car payment. I’m only 61 and I had to go on SSDI,I’ve been working on trying to find ways of alternative income. Gods Word is powerful, and he calls us to trust when we don’t have definitive direction. Your video was great to listen to , I will continue to watch your podcasts and with the Good Lord’s help ,start writing a new chapter of my life.
You could try going into crypto trading it earns more and you can earn from home
Dr. John Deloney is downright awesome. Too many folks scared to suck it up and face the reality!
Thank you Dave , I paid off my debt because of your show.
I'm only 10 minutes in and this is hitting home already. Him speaking about his family being alseep while he's wide awake is crazy. I just experienced this...
I am a single mom and I get panic attacks with chronic migraines.
This is me right now while keeping a smile for my kids and wife. 😔
I'm so sorry, you can do it! Pray to God for peace and help
I am tired of being broke and in debt! This is an American nightmare!!!! I need to be a multi billionaire! That’s my American dream!
You have changed my mindset about money, I appreciate you all, you have helped me so much I got out of 18k of debt thanks to you by july! Whenever I started to think "I want" I went back to your podcast thank you so much I now have the "no" muscle.
❤choosing to live debt free about 35years ago was the BEST decision I ever made!!!🎉😊
George cracks me up every time!!! Narnia 😂😂😂😂 this was great!! Learning with humor keeps the audience engaged!!
Jade gave such a power speech. It honestly spoke to me
Thank you Jade❤
I’m getting a lot of value from the Ramsey content, I just wish they would cater more internationally, so many of us aren’t in the US
Can’t you just watch TH-cam like on this video or do you mean like the money part converting into your dollar?? Anyhow Dave seems pretty smart maybe he will see your message and start to do just that!!
The everydollar app.. instead of one dollar, put one pound for UK currency, if you're in the UK of course...
@@weldinggirl hi 👋 the apps aren't available in other countries!
Exactly. Everydollar could be made to work in other countries
Yeah the apps and ordering books from the website, even financial peace university
John's argument about freedom is so interesting to hear (and true), because car's seem to be much more important to people in the US than in many European cities where many people are fine without.
Cars are a necessity in some cities. The US is sprawling and most cities have awful public transit. That said, the type of cars they choose to make and buy could absolutely be more economical
I'm in Canada and had to move to be on a bus route for my husband's job (very few jobs in his career) and I had to change my job, thankfully there was something in my career in walking distance. Would've been a 3h walk (there was no bus at the needed times, would've been a 130 minute bus ride if there was) to his job at our old place (5min car ride) and 95min for my old job at our new place (20m drive), each way. When I was going to school, I bussed and ended up skipping classes or taxiing at least once a week despite being at the bus stop 2h before class (for a 15min bus ride on a bus that was supposed to come every 20min) because the scheduled buses just didn't show up or were full and passed me
Thank All You Guys For This!!! 2024 Is My Year Of Complete Change! You Guys Changed My Life!
I drive a 2005 Corolla that has close to 400k miles and we’ve had it 15 years, it’s beat up but it’s no car payment. We even drove it half way cross country last summer to our niece’s beach house that she offered for us to stay at for our 33rd anniversary and had no problem with getting there and back. 😁
Ever since I started watching Dave Ramsay videos on TH-cam, it has helped me tremendously just being better financial state and just understanding the importance of being out of debt having money saved like yeah I was taught that but I didn’t start realizing that until I got older
It’s unfortunate that for a company as big as Ramsey to charge individuals annually to utile budgeting app and resources. There are probably many individuals that could benefit from these resources to help them get started on the financial journey but if they are already living paycheck to paycheck the likelihood of them paying annually for a budgeting app and resources are slim.
Click the description of the video. The other 9 winners are there.
All ten were announced. Look in the description for the full list. As far as the app, you can use it without paying, but to connect it to your bank account, you will have to pay. Why should they help you for free?
If they claim to be about helping people to financial freedom. It’s it’s still ridiculous to have to
Pay annually to have a budgeting app linked to your bank account.
They only have to give up one pretty drink each month. It is a very generous offer to change the course of their lives!
The EveryDollar App is free. I use it myself. You can pay for an upgrade where it puts your spending in automatically (I think it links to your bank account and knows what you spend) BUT you don't have to. I use the FREE version! :)
I'm glad they have added paycheck budgeting to every dollar!!!!! I work on commission and this will now be a tool I can use. I will give it a try! Thanks you Ramsey folks.
My way of thinking when it comes to money has completely changed im trying to get out of debt and stay out of debt for me and my children . Thank you and your team for all you do ❤
Choose reality and choose freedom! This team is awesome! Thank you for everything you do to help others!
Sometimes I wish I had debt just so I could do your plan. Unfortunately I have lived on a budget since high school and now happily retired. Still enjoy listening to you.
You wish you had debt 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You could always make a savings goal and apply the teachings to meet the goal. You don't need debt 😂
Wonderful and I am such a massive Rachel fan she is amazing. Her public speaking and delivery and charisma is 100%
I’m new to this channel and cannot get enough of it. Extremely helpful and motivated me to focus on what’s best for ME
Thank you for the encouragement!!
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Miller.
The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $7500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
Most people are retiring this year and has nothing to show for. But I assure you it's never late to get your financial life together again.. All thanks to Charlotte Grace Miller for I and my family
That was very encouraging, eye opening great tools thank you for sharing
Very encouraging, thank you!
Thank you for the live event!
I plan to rewatch a second time for extra motivation!
I used to not like Rachel...no real reason....but over the past year, have really fell in love with her. i'm thinking maybe bc she's the only personality that does sometimes get a little assertive towards Dave....i think if Dave is retiring anytime soon, they need a person with that firm personality - THAT is what draws us into that LOVE/HATE relationship with Dave...and who better than his daughter to take the reigns.
Wow 🤯 thank you 🙏 🎉 from today I claim 2024 is my year of financial freedom and happiness with my family ❤
It can be, and it is! Have you thought of side hustle or doing anything out of the ordinary ?

That was so inspiring! Thank you :) We are in Baby Step 2 and really want to get intense on our snowball!
One of the most fun things about paying for everything in cash is the change. We put the change in the jar and that is what we use to eat out on and go to support Christian movies when they come out and we even did a vacation completely on change. It's actually exciting to see how everything adds up!
Thank you. It was great.
Thank you so much for all you all do. I appreciate it so much. I started the baby steps and have my $1000 emergency funds in my savings account. Now, I am working on the snowball method. Had a small setback, lost my job, but not given up. I appreciate the knowledge that you have shared.

Ah… If I had a dollar for every comment that asked about the missing nine winners. 💰 💵 That would create some financial peace.
Thank you guys, this is helpful!
Thanks for uploading the video, I missed the live.
This was a truly AMAZING live stream. Thank you SO VERY MUCH.
I am realizing that not only do I need to do a monthly budget but when I go to spend that money on groceries we need to plan out that budget our meals for the week which can be a challenge. Especially when we are constantly on the go. One thing I plan to start doing is using cash instead of my debit card(leave it at home) because instead of us sticking to that set amount we are more likely to go over it but with cash only I stick to my budget way better. The app and Ramsey plus has helped us payoff over $53,000 (50%of our debt) and our entire Wedding was paid for in Cash. This year we are determined to get completely out of debt but a few tweaks are needed still and going directly to cash on those flexible costs like groceries and gas I think might help us.
I found out about Mr Ramsey one year before I got married. Now 8 years later and one child. We have over 150k in savings. A house that is paying for itself. No car loan. No credit card debt.Yet still religiously following Mr Ramsey's teachings. Thank you
Thanks for what you and your company do
Wow Dr John knocking it out of the park ⚾️
Loved Dr. Deloney's speech!
Thanks for encouragement, it's something I would like to try.
Barring a unforseen disaster, 2024 will be the best year of my life. Almost through babystep 2. I dabbled with the babysteps for years. 2023 we finally got serious and our lives changed. There's hope folks, but it takes hard work and sacrifice
Thank you Mr. Ramsey, for all that you do!!!
Thank you Jade ❤ Your words the last 15 minutes of the show are dripping with power, revelation, and truth. I have been a case study for “all hype no fight.” When those barriers are in front of me, I’ve retreated too often. I need to be more reflective in evaluating what beliefs are driving my get away car, and I need to be brave enough to press the gas when the barriers are in front of me - no more retreating back to the things that are devouring my quality of life.
Thanks dave ramsey for mentioning elections, just reminded me its local elections today in my area, i had 20 mins left to vote, made it, thank you DR
