    Great Info, which reinforces my decision to purchase a RENEGADE Verona!

    Great vid and gave me a better appreciation of the S2RV. We need more towing power for the mountains and trailer, so an M2 is the likely candidate. Thanks for posting...Joe seems like a quality guy.

    Thank you for this informative video. Everything I have heard about the S2RV is that it is a terrific chassis. My concern is the 6.7L Cummins being somewhat underpowered for driving the mountains out west (which is why I ultimately chose the Verona with the 8.9L). To be clear just about every owner of these feels it does fine on the flats. However when driving up the the summits you need the mindset “I’ll get there when I get there.”

    Concur with previous comment. Well done! Would enjoy similar videos for M2 and other products.

    It's nice to say that this chassis drives better than a Class A, but it is really the same thing as Freightliner's MC chassis for Class A motorhomes, but with a cutaway cab.

    I am looking at a super c on the S2RV CHASSIS will an aftermarket heavy duty bumper that fits the m2 chassis will fit the S2RV CHASSIS as well. The reason why I am asking is because where I live there are a lot of deer, elk, and moose in the area. I just would like to have something that will protect the front end of the RV when on the road.

      Yes, the comparable M2 bumper will work

    Aren’t you limited with that chassis if you wanted the 605hp Cummins engine?

    Why didn't FCC put air bags on the steer axle.

    Congratulations for getting through the whole video without mentioning that the S2 is Freightliner's school bus chassis, with the S2RV being the full-cab version for Class C motorhomes. It must have taken restraint to avoid that...

    great video but my 2019 Jayco Seneca 37K rides like a gravel truck. terrible. but I know something is wrong, air bags not working or something. I'm still researching and hope to find it.

      Gravel trucks often have rear air suspension, too... and more importantly, the same leaf-on-beam front suspension.

      @@brianb-p6586 I took it into freightliner, they tested ride height and did a road test with vibration analyser and said it is within specs. which tells me that the "J-Ride Premium" sticker on the side means "Rides like a gravel truck with no gravel". lol. Oh well, there is a lot we like about it.

    • @brianb-p6586
      @brianb-p6586 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rrrrkoop2776 LOL It should actually ride like a gravel truck with at least a part load of gravel, because it is always carrying the weight of the coach body.

    Will this chassis ever be available with IFS?

    • @brianb-p6586
      @brianb-p6586 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know, but I think it's more likely that the lottery ticket that I bought yesterday will win 34 million dollars than that any manufacturer will put IFS under an RV chassis-cab.

    Interesting info here and those lifts were built here in my hometown of St. Joseph, MO.
