I made these last night about 4 in the morning. They tuned out really good. They taste like the ones I ate as a kid after church. I haven’t had this type in over 20 years! I didn’t think I would find a recipe. I looked some years ago and was overwhelmed lol. This was a big surprise. I didn’t expect them to taste just like the ones I remember. Thank yall soo much for sharing this recipe.
Bonjour Mme Ashley, You welcome. Glad to hear they turned out well and you enjoyed them! Thank you for the support... Your Friends at The Creoljun Contessas
So many ingredients in all this new and fangled tools that you have to use. Some ingredients that some of us can't get to make just a regular popcorn ball like my Grandma used to make she's passed on and I have no more family members to tell me how to make them and you guys well didn't help?
Old steen's syrup. The memories and nightmares 😂. My Mom and I were just talking about popcorn balls and how fall makes you want pecan candy, popcorn balls and candy apples.
Bonjour Chris, The roaster is between 10 and 12-quarts. Pop enough corn to fill a roaster that size and you should be cookin with gas! Hope this helps. Your friends, The Creoljun Contessas
Thank you I will be trying it soon, My mom use to make popcorn ball for trick or treating also. I remember sitting on the porch down the bayou eating popcorn balls for Halloween!

I would like to know what size pan is used for the popcorn or how many cups or quarts of popcorn you make for this recipe. I know it is delicious!
