DF along with the Wasteland mod are just insane from the start. Your 100 and the series from Neebs have been the best videos for DF I've seen. That like is well deserved

Is it just me or do you have rotten luck when starting a new 7 Days to Die co-op playthrough because you got spawn camped by a feral wolf in the first playthrough and in this one you bullied by a Night Stalker.
i mean statistically there has to be a few people that are extremely unfortunate in most games it’s why games like gacha games have a pity system that way even if your luck is kicking you in the nuts constantly you can still get something good out of the suffering
I get lucky and never have zombies spawn so i rarely need to fight which has allowed me to deck out my base and since no zombies are there half the time i am set to do stuff but unfortunately sometimes i get attacked by wandering hordes which is troublesome but now i have a goated base and defenses
Just so yall know, the Marauder vehicle is AWESOME it is one of the fastest vehicles in the mod and it is lifted like 28 feet so when you are driving you don't hit the little obstacles on the ground (as much) like in the wasteland. Also, you only need to do the scouts quest until they give you the special mission to go and find the scout guy, who refers you to the mercenary lady, would refers you to the doctor lady who gives you the bunker quests 😊 I played the CRAP out of this mod and it teaches me new things every day 😂
53:00 So that happened because of two things. 1. It was a PEP poi, which notoriously have way more zombies than normal, they aren't always designed well causing every zombie to trigger at once, instead of sequentially like vanilla POIS and 2. It was an Infested quest(which doubles your game stage) meaning you had mutant/demonic zombies spawning WELL before you where equipped to handle them.

1:17:20 if you watch carefully, it was Drako who stepped on a hubcap landmine, and you were following right behind him, normally you can run after the click and get far enough away to avoid dying, but if the mine is in front of you and you are running towards it, RIP
1:42:10 "is there a reason to get Joel's quest tier to 6" So i'm not sure because i don't actually have the Darkness Falls mod, but from what i understand, there is a recipe menu where the traders will offer to teach you different craft schematics, and there is a way to BUY a class mastery from the traders when the quest tier is maxed. So if you can't find the mastery book, and you don't have 10 skill points, you can just shell out like 100k dukes to get a mastery. IIRC trader Jen (doctor) has Scientist mastery for sale, and Rekt has Farmer mastery, Bob has Mechanic mastery, and I don't really know but i bet Joel has Security mastery
1:47:10 "die during a quest it insta-fails" that's only if you didn't complete the quest before you died. You were in a fetch quest to get the satchel, and you got it before you died, so in the top right corner of the screen it says "return to trader" because you still keep the satchel in your inventory (it doesn't drop with your backpack)
it's crazy. I really sat through this whole thing. It's crazy how darkness falls is, you guys were struggling with night stalkers with 800 HP. then towards the end taking down 45,000 HP incubus's in like a minute or less. Really enjoyable game play 10/10.

honestly I lost count of the amount of times that I said, "Man I wish I was there to explain this feature" but rest assured it was a lot. with that said it's awesome getting to see you two play this amazing overhaul and grow, can't wait to see more in the future!
50 minutes in, but some basic base tips: Make a smaller path, if you bottleneck the zombies you can shoot them much easier. Put some blocks above the door to keep them from stacking. The vultures early game are easily defeated by building a roof and putting some spikes on there. Double everything that's between you and the zombies, even the hatches, so that one broken block won't instantly mean a breach.

Next you should play 7 days to die with 6 people 1 for each skill, though it’s pretty easy unless you play darkness falls or with a really low xp multiplier and on the survivalist or insane modes.
Love all your 7 Days videos, watched since your first playthrough. You would worry a lot less, if you just repair the hatch half way through the horde, maybe 2-3 times, it only takes seconds. Also, that pirate ship in the cave is from the Goonies Movie.
Damn, those are some low wellness numbers. Out of 300HP and Stamina, seeing those sub 150 numbers hurts. Slap a remote crafting upgrade on a fridge of resources and spam some recipes from the oven. Eat yo veggies and vitamins! Fridges and cabinets, among the many other shaped containers, also contain a lot more space. Also looks like yah missed out on many of the mods... like the humble watch... And no paramedic kits. In other words.... Guess you'll need to do another series. ;) Really enjoyed this and love the the high quality.

Just on thing I wanted to suggest you: for an even better resistance of your base during horde nights, put 4 hatches. The first two like you usually do and the second two facing the first two. The end product looks like only one hatch because they "glitch" inside one another but you have the strength and hitpoints of 2!
Fun fact. If you go into the back right corner of the fireplace in Trader Joel, you can drop down and loot some stuff. Also, if you're in a POI with a ton of zombies, run through a door, place down a block to block the doorway and upgrade it.
This was very enjoyable to watch. I have around 6500 hours into 7 days including maybe 1000 into Darkness falls. You guys sure came a long way! Next time, maybe you want to do some farming as that will help with wellness and dyes. Lots of food options in the mod to explore with. Nice work!

Good on ya dude, taking on 7DtD's most popular hard mod. Might I suggest giving forever skies a look next? Similar to Raft and void train, you have a mobile base, but instead of a raft, or a void train, you live in a blimp. Add compartments, fish for moths and lettuce, and you're gonna fly high.
Love the 100 days 7dtd, would be interesting to see another but with blood moons every night and longer nights every week(a fav challenge i do to myself)

honestly at that point you might as well just die to reset your hunger and thirst instead of risking food poisoning that will kill your character anyways
If you play through this again I highly recommend holing up in the lucky's wooden palisade... as long as you can get it fully upgraded it is a great way to defend against even a DFalls horde... I decimated up to day 28 horde with it upgraded to steel.
I have @2400 hours of DF out of 2900 hours of 7D2D and this video was a ton of fun. Great way to spend the drive to Bangkok to see Ed Sheeran with my family. Appreciate your effort!

Hint for those who haven't played or dont know Darkness Falls, certain zones have easier/harder zombs regardless of how far along you are, best place to look for is just simply the hills or forest, or just punish yourself like khaine intended with the creation of DF and just get rekt in burnt and wasteland zones HAHA Loving the movie so far, only up to day 6.
I played vanilla 7 Days to Die in VR (headset only, using VorpX plugin) It changed my life. I've never been so terrified. After a year, it's still not settling. But I do feel like I need a change. But Darkness Falls...Ye nahhhhhhhh! I'd have a heart attack.
In Darkness Falls.. if you know what your doing you dont have to run a single quest. Find the snow biom DF bunker early game and mid game with anti-radiation pills you can do the large DF bunker in the wasteland.. never needing a single quest from the scout. Fun video and I hope you guys do some more on 7DTD, i'm a fan of the editing and you both are quite funny while under pressure. Thumbs up and subscribed!
Really enjoyed watching you 2 trying to survive with a mod you really didn't know anything about. It's not very often I sit and watch 3 hours of game play but you did good with the editing and before I knew it the whole thing was done. Would love to see you both take on other mods. Sorcery mod would make the entire game feel different with magic but not quite as hard as the Darkness Falls mod. You could also try Ravenhearst if you are a masochist and like the really hard mods. There is also the War of the Walkers and the War3zuk mods for a good experience that aren't quite as crazy as the Darkness Falls mod. If you like a sci-fi aspect then check out the District Zero mod.
A few tips for you: 1 - make a longer entrance corridor. Folks sometimes stack up to 5 or 10 of those hatches and just make the zombies have to go through all of them in order to break in. Keep the back hatches open once the horde night starts, and just close the front 2 or 3 sets so you can both swing and shoot at the zombies. As you notice that they are getting in, as soon as one layer of hatches breaks, move back one square and close one more layer of hatches. Layered defenses and contingencies are a key. 2 - just in front of your base, you should never make wide blocks for zombies to crowd on top of. Make wide paths to your base, yes, however the very last few blocks should be super thin. As zombies start to dogpile on those, most will fall down and they will have to go back and climb up the stairs and the ramp all over again. Plus as you hit them, you are knocking them down as well potentially. 3 - you didnt even make the best vehicle in the game - The Marauder. Build that, put the supercharger mod and see how fast you go ;) 4 - make use of robotic turrets next time. A fully decked out mechanic can use three at a time, any combo like 2 robotic sledges and 1 robotic turret or 1 robotic sledge and 2 robotic turrets, depending on your play style. Those can take weapon mods and can pack quite a bit of punch. Folks sometimes also use them to help defend on horde night. 5 - I dont think you built the freezing or the electrical weapon mods, (or I just missed it) which are arguably the biggest help when fighting, they make your bullets do electrical damage which stuns the zombies kinda like the electrical wire defense, or the frost one that slows them down for a bit longer than the stun. Huge help. 6 - when building a base, you could've saved yourself a huge amount of time by making an indoor elevated parking garage for your vehicles, just use electrical drawbridges with sensors and shut them down during horde night to prevent accidents. Saves you huge amounts of time on loading and unloading vehicles 7 - Windows are cool, but I recommend against using bars on top floors as things could target you through them sometimes. My suggestion would be that your ground floor (elevate it at least 5-6 blocks above ground), and use that as the fighting position/entrance ramp, etc. Floor above that, however not above the entrance, use it for storage and crafting tables and bedrolls. 8 - under the entrance ramp, make a giant pit with turrets, blade traps, electrical traps, dart traps, spikes, etc. Just make sure that the pit has a nice and clean path out. That way, zombies come to your entrance, you knock most of them down in that pit, they get shredded by traps and however many survive the pit start climbing back onto the ramp. New zombies join them, rinse and repeat. The perfect recipe for a successful horde night, even in Darkness Falls.
Well, i can say this has intrigued me to play this mod. I played 100 days of war3zuk mod, and honestly, it was meh. I felt like a god the whole time couldn't even die inless, i ran out of heals for brain herpes. Took me a while to learn these mods, and I've had a blast because of you. I stream on Twitch as well, and i can say the video edits for yourube you have done are far superior. Keep up the great work! ❤
1:25:30 they are braking your wall because it is the path of least resistance, because you upgrade your front entrance too high It has more health to break through than the stone in the area you don’t want them breaking. A way you can fix this is add more buildings blocks or upgrade the current ones. This will change the path of least resistance back to your front entrance. Edited part -> I just saw 1:28:33 were you answered your own question.
thanks for an awesome video. if u want an easyer start of darkness falls go for the hunter class in the start. it gives you an Hunting rifle and a silencer and some ammo for it. Makes everything lot easyer.
Imagine playing this game with the setting Warrior 2 Hours day 12/12 16 zombies per player from the start and the Friendshooting on Two veteran players and 4 newbies its Hell of the fun
Yeah, me and my friends did this mod, and we had the worst luck. The map only had one quest base and a radtion zone blocking the other side of the map, which turned out the one quest base had the demon portal right next it
I do recommend trying the game with the horde nights turned off and dif turned up.. turns in to a totally different game ... and I love the fact theres a mod to fit everyones taste
next time when building your roof make it into bars so you can shoot the birds and they cant get you and your front walk way turn it into vaults you know how in the Olympics where people have to jump over them hurtles make your base like that slows the zombies down enough that you can shoot them way before they make it to your windows. The spinning blades also help a lot with a pusher to push them into it.
the one time everything went right was in that damn military bunker lmao, all except the not breaking down the portal, and that untimely suicide, but thats whatever ig, awesome playthrough, cant believe i watched all of it and was interested the whole way, but this mod with yall 2 goobers is funny af!
I watched the vid three times now and I cant stop enjoying it. one thing tho, it would have been cooler if you have used "Unleash Hell" on your finale run, you would have seen everything this mod has yet to reveal!
If you pick up the office chairs and scrap them, you can get about 5-6 leather each. YOu can also disassemble it with any type of wrench but you'll only get about 2-3. You can also scrap military armor and clothing and get a TON of military fibers. also tents give a TON of cloth for makin meds. Also the laser shotgun is hot garbage. the laser carbine and rifle are 10x better and output a 1k times more damage
Honestly, I would love to see you guys run it back from the start on a random gen world. Knowing what you know now, you'd have a TOTALLY different experience.

A good tip for fast XP would be stacking as many xp boosts you can and then upgrade your base. It’s crazy how fast you’ll get levels.

If you play through this again I highly recommend holing up in the lucky's wooden palisade... as long as you can get it fully upgraded it is a great way to defend against even a DFalls horde... I decimated up to day 28 horde with it upgraded to steel.
I have @2400 hours of DF out of 2900 hours of 7D2D and this video was a ton of fun. Great way to spend the drive to Bangkok to see Ed Sheeran with my family. Appreciate your effort!

Hint for those who haven't played or dont know Darkness Falls, certain zones have easier/harder zombs regardless of how far along you are, best place to look for is just simply the hills or forest, or just punish yourself like khaine intended with the creation of DF and just get rekt in burnt and wasteland zones HAHA

In Darkness Falls.. if you know what your doing you dont have to run a single quest. Find the snow biom DF bunker early game and mid game with anti-radiation pills you can do the large DF bunker in the wasteland.. never needing a single quest from the scout. Fun video and I hope you guys do some more on 7DTD, i'm a fan of the editing and you both are quite funny while under pressure. Thumbs up and subscribed!
Prequest you can scavenge all the sinks, toilets and cars at a location. They respawn when you start the quest and after a couple of in game days.

Really enjoyed watching you 2 trying to survive with a mod you really didn't know anything about. It's not very often I sit and watch 3 hours of game play but you did good with the editing and before I knew it the whole thing was done.
Would love to see you both take on other mods. Sorcery mod would make the entire game feel different with magic but not quite as hard as the Darkness Falls mod. You could also try Ravenhearst if you are a masochist and like the really hard mods. There is also the War of the Walkers and the War3zuk mods for a good experience that aren't quite as crazy as the Darkness Falls mod. If you like a sci-fi aspect then check out the District Zero mod.

A few tips for you:
1 - make a longer entrance corridor. Folks sometimes stack up to 5 or 10 of those hatches and just make the zombies have to go through all of them in order to break in. Keep the back hatches open once the horde night starts, and just close the front 2 or 3 sets so you can both swing and shoot at the zombies. As you notice that they are getting in, as soon as one layer of hatches breaks, move back one square and close one more layer of hatches. Layered defenses and contingencies are a key.
2 - just in front of your base, you should never make wide blocks for zombies to crowd on top of. Make wide paths to your base, yes, however the very last few blocks should be super thin. As zombies start to dogpile on those, most will fall down and they will have to go back and climb up the stairs and the ramp all over again. Plus as you hit them, you are knocking them down as well potentially.
3 - you didnt even make the best vehicle in the game - The Marauder. Build that, put the supercharger mod and see how fast you go ;)
4 - make use of robotic turrets next time. A fully decked out mechanic can use three at a time, any combo like 2 robotic sledges and 1 robotic turret or 1 robotic sledge and 2 robotic turrets, depending on your play style. Those can take weapon mods and can pack quite a bit of punch. Folks sometimes also use them to help defend on horde night.
5 - I dont think you built the freezing or the electrical weapon mods, (or I just missed it) which are arguably the biggest help when fighting, they make your bullets do electrical damage which stuns the zombies kinda like the electrical wire defense, or the frost one that slows them down for a bit longer than the stun. Huge help.
6 - when building a base, you could've saved yourself a huge amount of time by making an indoor elevated parking garage for your vehicles, just use electrical drawbridges with sensors and shut them down during horde night to prevent accidents. Saves you huge amounts of time on loading and unloading vehicles
7 - Windows are cool, but I recommend against using bars on top floors as things could target you through them sometimes. My suggestion would be that your ground floor (elevate it at least 5-6 blocks above ground), and use that as the fighting position/entrance ramp, etc. Floor above that, however not above the entrance, use it for storage and crafting tables and bedrolls.
8 - under the entrance ramp, make a giant pit with turrets, blade traps, electrical traps, dart traps, spikes, etc. Just make sure that the pit has a nice and clean path out. That way, zombies come to your entrance, you knock most of them down in that pit, they get shredded by traps and however many survive the pit start climbing back onto the ramp. New zombies join them, rinse and repeat. The perfect recipe for a successful horde night, even in Darkness Falls.
Well, i can say this has intrigued me to play this mod. I played 100 days of war3zuk mod, and honestly, it was meh. I felt like a god the whole time couldn't even die inless, i ran out of heals for brain herpes.

1:25:30 they are braking your wall because it is the path of least resistance, because you upgrade your front entrance too high It has more health to break through than the stone in the area you don’t want them breaking. A way you can fix this is add more buildings blocks or upgrade the current ones. This will change the path of least resistance back to your front entrance. Edited part -> I just saw 1:28:33 were you answered your own question.
2:24:45 Its EXTREMELY rare, but you can find a laser M60 in those crates.

thanks for an awesome video. if u want an easyer start of darkness falls go for the hunter class in the start. it gives you an Hunting rifle and a silencer and some ammo for it. Makes everything lot easyer.

Yeah, me and my friends did this mod, and we had the worst luck. The map only had one quest base and a radtion zone blocking the other side of the map, which turned out the one quest base had the demon portal right next it

I do recommend trying the game with the horde nights turned off and dif turned up.. turns in to a totally different game ... and I love the fact theres a mod to fit everyones taste
next time when building your roof make it into bars so you can shoot the birds and they cant get you and your front walk way turn it into vaults you know how in the Olympics where people have to jump over them hurtles make your base like that slows the zombies down enough that you can shoot them way before they make it to your windows. The spinning blades also help a lot with a pusher to push them into it.
the one time everything went right was in that damn military bunker lmao, all except the not breaking down the portal, and that untimely suicide, but thats whatever ig, awesome playthrough, cant believe i watched all of it and was interested the whole way, but this mod with yall 2 goobers is funny af!
I watched the vid three times now and I cant stop enjoying it. one thing tho, it would have been cooler if you have used "Unleash Hell" on your finale run, you would have seen everything this mod has yet to reveal!

If you pick up the office chairs and scrap them, you can get about 5-6 leather each. YOu can also disassemble it with any type of wrench but you'll only get about 2-3. You can also scrap military armor and clothing and get a TON of military fibers. also tents give a TON of cloth for makin meds.
Also the laser shotgun is hot garbage. the laser carbine and rifle are 10x better and output a 1k times more damage
