When I spar the ladies I actually like that they can go faster. It’s giving me better insight into how this shit works without getting a concussion for every single mistake. It also helps teach me control. Better fighters pull back on me; I’m bigger, I should pull back on them. Just another perspective 🤷🏾♂️
I think what we are all saying is they edit these vids a lot. There is some strange modern phenomena that makes it seem that women can fight equally with men. The illusion is amazing.
I think I get what you guys are saying. And I also think trolls and negative people shout louder than everyone else. No reasonable, thinking adult actually believes women and men are physically equal. We all train? What woman has ever said that in class? What decent instructor? It’s the least I can do for a woman who may be better than me; but whom I can physically overwhelm.

Alright, this reminds me of a story. Different situation, it's maybe 1968 and the young woman who would later become my mother was taking a mixed level beginning/intermediate Judo class in Hawaii. (She was from Seattle but was taking a class at the University of Hawaii, working on her masters.) After the class the students were encouraged to spar (randori) with each other and with other more experienced folks who were showing up for the next advanced class. My mom was the only woman in the dojo at the time, and is petite at only 5'2", but she had always had a good experience doing this before. No one was trying to hurt anyone else, people would take turns being the aggressor, with small breaks between takedowns when experienced practitioners would offer tips to the newbs, etc. Good stuff, usually. But today there was a new guy, trained at some other dojo, and he was a jerk. He asked my mom to spar, then proceeded to slam her on the mat; then wouldn't even let her adjust her gi (judo clothes) before attacking again, and again, and again. She's shocked, trying to get away, and eventually is able to get off the mat and retreat. The guy is taunting her, asking her where she's going. But the master of the dojo had noticed, walked over and said, "I'll randori you." And then proceeded to teach this guy a lesson. The master was usually very mild, very controlled, but not today. He slammed the guy down hard, immediately grabbed him as he was trying to get up and slammed him down again. Other people sparring nearby stopped and moved to the sides of the room, giving the master full use of the entire sparring area. The room grew quiet, with only the sounds of the guy getting thrown down onto the floor again and again to break the silence. The guy tried to crawl away but the master said, "Where are you going?" And a few more throws later the master stopped as the guy was now laying on the mat and barely able to move. He leaned over and slowly said in a firm voice, "Be humble." After a pause, to make sure the guy heard and understood, he said, "Get up, leave now, and do not come back." My mom kept going to that dojo until she finished her studies at the University and left Hawaii, never had another problem like that.
@@nicholasullery5129 He had to pretend he couldn't punch except for the one time at the end that reminded her she didn't gain anything. This ain't pushing her.
I'm a girl I'm martial arts and at my club men and women fight together. There is non issue and we need to fight different people to make progress anyway. The problem that the comments seem to raise is when both parties don't agree on the intensity before the fight
Happened to me recently. I gave her light jabs to head and body; she whacks my lead leg 5 times in a row. I give her one back; she drops, whines then leaves the ring. It didnt sit right with me for at least a week. Bad etiquette- her first day at the gym, too.
Saenchai is always the master so he is the one letting you set the pace and he follows while showing you he got you but not actually landing hard, she looks like she's trying to prove something cause her brothers used to beat on her no offense, you never ever start a spar at above 60% power unless its someone you are really used to and spar for pro fights
Saenchai is great. She’s doing what he does with less catching and dumping. And I 💯 believe if you see her sparring him they both would be laughing and having a good time. I really don’t feel like she was going hard at all and neither was this guy in the vid.
I've spared with a handful of girls and I can say from experience, don't ever do it. Only one of them was a decent sparring partner and was down to go hard if things started ramping up. She was taller than me (She was around 6'1" or something) and was a southpaw, which I appreciated since she was the only southpaw I knew at the time.
@TrueEnglishMan01 I think what he is trying to explain is that the majority of women tend to get offended when it comes to hard sparring or even sparring in general. Only a few of them take shit seriously and fight back. I'm a female fighter, I tend to fight guys and even go hard with some of them that are closer to my age (I'm 16). However, after each hard session I leave with bruises or cuts all over my body since as scientifically proven, men tend to have denser bones and in general higher testosterone levels. I'm not trying to prove anything, infact I don't support femism at all, I just express my experiences. Also older guys that are fully grown men go light on me and I fully recognize and respect them. I believe sometimes it's all about pain tolerance; fighting a man is like a train coming nonstop at you. Additionally, sparring with men is way better since you learn more stuff than fighting with other females, sorry ladies - men have it in their blood.
Coaches only put girls up against a bigger man so they can have a better understanding of how it really is on the streets. The guy and everyone knew that he would win but he, being the gentle man that he was obviously, took it easy.
It's always hard to get the balance right when sparring girls. Or even in jujitsu a woman told me "it's ok, you don't have to go soft",I then proceed to go normal for the most part, assuming she wants to learn under real pressure. My coach almost immediately " RELAX! That's a girl"
One time i was sparring with this milf at the beginning of my muay thai training(maybe week 3-4) and she went super aggressive and hard on me and i was caught many times by suprise of how rough she was. Hitting me with 100% and i got hurt a couple of times but i was too much of a beginner to know what to do to counter her. Fast forward 3-4 months when i got better and had to fight her again i was jabbing her in the face because she was punching me and not defeding her face at all. She then proceeded to fight me at 50% and left the practice forever.
The thing is, no matter how trained any women is they can't and will never beat men in their weight and height 1v1 without some sort of huge skill advantage or weapon. I even put any man 25lbs lighter and a foot smaller than any woman and the aggression/muscle and adrenaline in the man is going to overpower her every time. Women strengths are in other areas and in their own ways, Men have built the world for them, we should always be respectful, but at the same time, never suffer any fools, as good ppl don't let others take advantage of them.
He should gave her a heavy straight right to her body or head…watch her calm right down. Women sparring guys is absolutely useless for everyone, why does it even happen 🤦🏻♂️

When I spar the ladies I actually like that they can go faster. It’s giving me better insight into how this shit works without getting a concussion for every single mistake.

She was taller than me (She was around 6'1" or something) and was a southpaw, which I appreciated since she was the only southpaw I knew at the time.
> “Don’t ever do it”
> Go into detail about how you enjoyed sparring with a particular female fighter.
Talk about a contraction 😂
Are you saying it in general or are you commenting on this fight?
Could also be that the big dude isn't very skilled. In a street fight I doubt he'd resort to muay thai to beat her lol
Skill makes a difference but sheer power is hard to manage
It's always hard to get the balance right when sparring girls. Or even in jujitsu a woman told me "it's ok, you don't have to go soft",I then proceed to go normal for the most part, assuming she wants to learn under real pressure. My coach almost immediately " RELAX! That's a girl"
“Don’t kill me”

“Fight me like I’m a girl while I fight you like you’re a man” 😂😂😂

ALWAYS TAKE ALL HOPE IN THE FIRST SECOND!😂😂😂
