      100% with you David and appreciate that, I was happy with the audio tbh but would have had to re shoot and wanted to get this out for this weekend. I’ve just finally invested in a really fancy Rode Wireless Audio set up for my cams which should bring the audio up to a high standard very soon. Thank you so much for watching and for good constructive comments that always honestly I appreciate that 👍👍

    Nice informative video! Thank you for sharing your experience amazing car!
    I am looking to buy a Fiesta ST. I have a question about which year is the best/most reliable. I am looking between 2014 and 2016. Are there any major or notable differences? Oh yea I dont know if it matters but I am from Holland and looking to buy the car in Germany.
    Would love to hear from you! Keep enjoying this Rocket of a car, so cool!

      There is no revisions that were noted to public and that I no of there is nothing changed. I would personally say get the newest car possible as often when anything is new there can be build issue in a factory (not likely but possible) but once newer this can get better, Ours is a late 2015 so I’d look for one like that or an 2016.

    Hi, I agree with everything that you said about the Fiesta. I bought mine new in April 2018 and I have done about 26000km. As far as I can remember it has never been back to the dealer apart from the scheduled service. It is probably one of the most reliable cars that I have owned in my more than 30 years of car ownership. It is probably also the most enjoyable/exciting car that I have owned...
    I also did the RT330 conversion after owning the car for about 7 months. It is also my daily car and then I do track days with it as well. Incidentally I also replaced my tyres with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 at the same time I did the RT330 conversion. I am very impressed with the Michelin tyres...
    What mods from your experience with the Fiesta ST added the biggest improvement for the track apart from the brakes?

    • @PeakPerformanceReviews
      @PeakPerformanceReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well power is nothing without control but certainly on big tracks power gain the most time around the circuits but as I said before
      Power is nothing without control.
      The brakes give the car more consistency more than outright faster times but do and have made a great improvement. I feel the brakes are close to the most important all around but tyre are easy the most important thing on the car. Aside that I think the lowering springs made an awesome difference but I’d ultimately say tyres and brakes.
      Thanks so much for watching fella, if you haven’t already please stick around and subscribe as it’ll be great to have you on here 👍👍

    Great awesome cars love mine that is 350 bhp and is gonna be doing lots trackdays what I would say to anyone that does have one these cars and is stage3/4 deffo invest in a oil cooler is going on track and get a descent oil breather system as the fez is known to breathe heavy I have the double radium system setup on mine which rob at scc performance told me to get as the fez needs it and also invest in a descent diff aswell 😊👍

    • @PeakPerformanceReviews
      @PeakPerformanceReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amen Fella, we’ll definitely have to feature your car soon fella if your up for it. Yeah I’m hearing people are only starting to find out they can breath a bit when your up at these horsepower levels. The Radium stuff is amazing too I’ll have to take a look at that.
      Oh a diff 100% makes a difference however it’s amazing how well an open diff can work too, look at the McLaren 720S open diff insane ... of course that’s a McLaren not a Fiesta but with control they are still capable on the stock diff. That being said a proper mechanical LSD diff is better 100%.
      Look forward to seeing yours and possibly driving one day I hope 👍👍 Thanks for watching buddy

    • @Shadowst420
      @Shadowst420 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Peak Performance Reviews well I have the quaife atb diff in mine at the mo but that is coming out and be sold and then I’m getting the 3j platted diff which will be setup for the track with the ramp angles and it’s been known a while now that the fez breathe heavy cause of the direct fuel injection hence why it needs and should be done to prolong life of the engine 👍👍esp when stage 3/4

    • @PeakPerformanceReviews
      @PeakPerformanceReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh 100% correct crankcase ventilation is very important on any highly modified car without a well designed stock ventilation, also at the end of the day these cars didn’t come out of the factory with 350bhp so it’s no surprise.
      The 3J will be great, is it a plated diff version?

      If standard they are very strong and stout and you’ll have very little problems.
      In 5 years ownership I had nothing wrong with mine and after only 2 weeks from brand nee it was stage 2 and 240ish bhp.
      Look for uneven tyre wear if lowered, of course if they have a new set off tyres this will be impossible to see. If the body is low and close to tyres it’s lowered.
      If it’s stock standard it’ll have just a tiny bit of induction noise and turbo like dump valve noise.
      Look in the engine bay, that’s a huge tell tail sign, any after market mods you’ll be able to tell there too. Top pic here is a standard engine bay pic - www.fiestastforum.com/media/2015-ford-fiesta-st-engine-jpg.1413/

      Tom I’m so sorry I didn’t realise I hadn’t replied. I have some footage I never put up but still could, the reason I didn’t put it up is I had some shonky old tyre on the car and because of that I had a very short day and sessions. Has yours got an LSD? If not, how do you keep the power down? I've got PS4s all round, MeisterR coilovers with damping settings cranked up for hard cornering, rear engine torque mount and that's it in terms of handling/control mods. I also needed a new fuel pump and follower as the stock one wasn't running right. Apparently Esso 99 fuel that I rarely fill up with wasn't great for remapping either, so hopefully once the new vpower I filled up with (as usually only ever use) kicks in she should run even better! 🤞

    How does your fiesta ST compare to the mk4 focus ST you tested mate?

    • @PeakPerformanceReviews
      @PeakPerformanceReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In a straight line the Fiesta is very very quick, 1/4 mile in 12.4 area vs the Focus probable circa 13.0-13.5, the FST rotates very well but the Focus is more balanced. I think the Focus would be easier for most to go faster in around B roads and on track, a skilled driver would get the most out of the Fiesta and it would be faster point to point, it’s just basic power to weight more than anything.
      The Focus is wayyyyyyy more comfortable and overall such an outstanding car.
      To live with daily the Focus would be better imo unless you like a super stiff car.
      I prefer the Fiesta but love the focus too.
      For most people the Focus would be a better car all round I believe.

      Peak Performance Reviews thanks for taking the time to write such an in depth reply! I’ve just bought a mk4 focus ST that I collected yesterday, in orange fury paint with performance pack and pan roof. Loving it so far, and compared to a previous mk3.5 focus ST it’s leagues apart in my early impression. The mid range pull on it it’s unlike anything I’ve owned before and the diff makes an enormous difference when cornering at speed whereas the mk3.5 felt borderline dangerous when cornering at speed.
