I am certain there are a few changes you could do which would keep the warranty valid and not break the PCP rules but it might say in the tonnes of paper work no modifications. At least I could share this video and show what could Be done 😊😊
I have not driven the mk8 stock but 200bhp is a sensible amount but it’s the sound I miss. For me this model with the lsd and coilovers are most important

When it comes to tuning a car it’s not just the peak power it’s a lot more about how the power is delivered and the torque curve. Having reviewed a mapped 300bhp mini with a poor setup and then having it done properly (same sort of power but felt a lot quicker) and also supporting mods as well, need to make sure the other parts around the car are up to the job th-cam.com/video/9UymEjbPbP0/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/pI0VaW-T8YM/w-d-xo.html
I wouldn’t say the colour makes you a ‘berk’, the colour of the car is nice but definitely a marmite colour. It’s quite an expressive colour so it will stand out but it doesn’t mean you’re an idiot if you drive one?
@@DamoDrives you’re exactly right. Being an owner of one, I’ve spoken to many other owners of these and they’re all good people, not berks at all, so I don’t know what Phil is on about 😂

Great car and video. Slight amendment at the start as you had said the car want making anymore power from standard bit it does as it's 60hp up :)

After the remap do you lose the reward of reving out the engine? The review seemed to suggest you now need to short shift to stay on boost.

It’s something I will eventually do, although this new ST is plenty quick enough in stock for UK roads

How’s he getting 260bhp from a stage 1 when a revo stage 2 is 265bhp?
Afraid I cannot answer that , have to go with what the owner tells me

I had one for nearly a year but sold it back to the dealership, felt a burk driving it because of the colour in the end .
It’s not to everyone’s taste in that colour and you will certainly be noticed lol

There are too many bland dull cars on the road, kudos to anyone that drive something vibrant. Mines mean green and it really pops in a carpark.
