Thanks a lot for the prompt reply.I must tell you,I just recently came upon the videos that you post and I really do enjoy the way you present them.I also like the way that you go in-depth to explain what it is that you are doing.I have hunted all of my life.I've used everything from slingshots,BB guns, archery, rifles of all calibers and now recently started to seriously use precision air rifles.Your videos really inspire me.I'll be watchinig many more of your vid's.Keep 'em coming.God Bless.
I'm truely amased at the professionalisum of this hunter . He really cares about these rabbits. He monitors there sex and diesie. He knows there every thought they have and uses it to humanly dispatch them . My pleasure to meet you. Thank you
Nice videos, ive been watching alot of them this last hour and i must admit that you are skilled with an Air Gun and i cant help but notice the respect you show for your prey, like checking the sex of it and is it with young and so on, you even took the "mixie" rabbit back for your cat, i admire how you let nothing go to waste. You Sir, are a great hunter. Thank you for taking the time to edit and post your videos, i'l look forward to more.
As always, Yet another quality hunt. And #4 was a bit of a challenge, but I have to agree... That was an excellent shot. As always, Love the vids, and constantly looking forward to the next one. Cheers! And Safe hunting.
I was reading about crows the other day and found out an interesting fact. If you miss the shot and the crow gets a look at your face it will never forget you as long as it lives
Very instructive videos for a new hunter like myself. I'm buying an air rifle soon to fight the local rabbit and squirrel population in my neighborhood and your videos are great. Thanks from the Great State of Minnesota, USA.
Great Vid looked like an excellent evening shoot. Great narration and Awesome Editing Weldone. I love the Uniqueness of your Videos 5/5 Thumbed & Faved Tam
@123riggerz Yes it is difficult at times to film and hunt at the same time but i manage to get something to show for it. I like to spot the rabbits from a distance and slowly stalk into range for the shot. Takes a bit of time but it works.
I live on a 70 acre farm in the Southeastern U.s. Our rabbits are slightly different (Eastern Cottontail Rabbits), and not as numerous. I too hunt with air rifles, slingshots, bows ,blowguns, and crossbows, all deadly quiet weapons, but I LOVE air guns best. Come hunt with me sometime.
Very good point and i have started putting the gun type, power, cal, scope etc into the description box for people to read. The max hunting range for any hunter is the max range that they can still group all their pellets accurately.
@rapidhunting Thanks for the 5/5. Its not easy to film and hunt at the same time but i always try and make a story of it, spotting the rabbit, stalking the rabbit, getting the shot and a look at the end to see where the pellet hit.
Another great video sir! I think i will have to buy a rangefinder, they seem to be very handy for Airgun hunting and working out BDC's etc. been looking at the Hawke LRF600, its seems to be a bargain at only £115 !! Also what type of cammo are you using? it looks like a type of Flecktarn but its much darker than i have seen before. Thanks Al
Love your videos mate. Always very professional and clean kills. Very nice filming and explainations about everything too. You ever film through the scope? Id love to see how you aim on some of the longer shots! Also must be very easy to loose those rangefinders if you put them down in the grass!
Very good video, probably the best yet. I noticed that you haven't got a silencer on the theoben, it doesn't seem very loud, but my uncle has a BSA R-10 with a silencer and he took two rabbits that were only 6 yards apart. The second rabbit didn't even flinch either. Well done and keep up the videos. 5/5
Yet another fantastic video. A quick question, is the evening best for shooting/stalking rabbits, i tend to go and shoot within a wood for a farmer about 10am and have some succsess but would like to see more rabbits around as i think the daytime they tend to be sleeping..or maybe im a bit too noisy lol.
Shhh. Be vewwy quiet, we're hunting wabbits. I love the way you hunt them across the pond. Here most people insist on dogs and in my part of the country use shotguns. I'm learning a lot from videos from you and your mates. Greetings from east Tennessee, U.S.A.
Thanks for the response bud. I saw in your other vids that you had Danish but in this one it seemed a lot darker, must be light conditions affecting the camera. I have the German Flacktarn pattern which works well in pine forrests etc but maybe not so good in pasture, I might have to pick up some Danish Flectarn now.. any excuse to buy more cammo! lol Ps: what range finder are you using? Al
Wow! I wish I had the hunting opportunities and permissions that you do. Once again, I must say this is another great video. I learn a great deal about stalking these skitish animals from each of your videos. I only have a Gamo Whisper .22 and a Benjamin Trail NP XL (.22) break barrels. I hunt ground squirrels and crows right now with my Benjamin Trail. Do you think a Benjamin Marauder .22 caliber PCP would give me similar advantages to what you get with your Theoben or BSA PCP's? Thanks again!
I just finished watching one of your other videos but I must say, very impressive shooting. I shoot a RWS Model 48 myself. If I may ask, what type and power scope are you using?
that new camo seems to be doing the trick mate good video as usual good luck can hear the magpies grassing you speak soon bazzaba 1 this my new channel
I love cows...they are such curious creatures.... Excellent eye shot on that fourth rabbit. From the time you shot the first rabbit until you came back for it...how long were you gone for? Rob
I believe i can answer this one. Rabbits dig holes in the fields which cattle and horses can get their legs stuck in. Livestock can very easily break a leg that got stuck in a rabbit hole. Plus rabbits tend to eat people's gardens, which is a loss for them.
@lumbermouth Any caliber .177 .20 .22 .25 will do but you need around 12ft/lb of energy to do the job right which is about 580fps in .22 and 780 in .177 depending on the pellet used.
As always, great vid! I hope you are having a good summer in N.I. Here in Ontario Canada it has been unbearably hot!! I have`nt seen a rabbit or a deer all summer as they have been lying low and staying as cool as they can, everything has been suffering including the crops! It looks like you are having a good rabbit season. Any more crow hunts coming up? All the best to you and thanks for the video.....well done as usual!!
Excellent hunting there m8, can I ask what scope make and size do you use on both your air rifles, also where can I purchase your dvd from, how many dvd's do you have available to buy,
im just getting into air rifle hunting and i got the crosman nitro venom dusk for christmas. Do you have any tips for a beginner? by the way... loving the vids :D
The rule of thumb with most 12ft/lb air rifles is to zero at 25-30 yards for a .22cal and 35-40 yards with a .177 then work out how much the pellet drops or rises at different ranges by shooting at paper targets.
very nice videos. i enjoy watching them. can you tell me, what you used to make the shooting sticks in the video. ie. diamtre poles and length and type. keep up the good work. regards daniel matlock derbyshire
It really depends on power and caliber but the rule of thumb for a 12ft/lb airgun is zero a .22cal at around 25-30 yards and a .177cal at around 35-40 yards.
@Jahazdaabba1 Yes that is right for the UK but in Northern Ireland we need a licence for any air rifle 12ft/lb or not. 12ft/lb is about 560fps in .22cal and 780fps in .177cal depending on the pellet used.
Great shooting as usual, could tell that was a mixi rabbit as soon as the camera panned onto it. The most humane thing you could have done was shoot it.. horrible disease. Really like how you use the shooting sticks, is it easy to keep a steady aim or does it take some practice? ATB
I have to try this, can you recommend an inexpensive air rifle that has the power and accuracy to take game? I know nothing about air rifles but I do know I have to have one. Thanks for the previous reply and any information will be greatly appreciated.
I really don't know as we don't have any wild hogs in Northern Ireland but there are a few really high powered .25cal and .30 cal air rifles on the market that have been used at close range hog shooting.
Thanks a lot for the prompt reply.I must tell you,I just recently came upon the videos that you post and I really do enjoy the way you present them.I also like the way that you go in-depth to explain what it is that you are doing.I have hunted all of my life.I've used everything from slingshots,BB guns, archery, rifles of all calibers and now recently started to seriously use precision air rifles.Your videos really inspire me.I'll be watchinig many more of your vid's.Keep 'em coming.God Bless.

at 3:22 for 50 yards that was a brilliant shot!... well for any distance the way the bugger was tucked in the grass that was an outstanding shot!!

Cheers! And Safe hunting.

inviteing his friends to dinner
another top quality hunt which was beautifully narrated once again
Great shooting as always. Your lucky to have such chances for hunts like these. Keep this videos coming!

That cow was like, "Damn dude, you came up today." xD
@DamnDogNow Thanks the range finder i am using is a Bushnell Scout 1000.
Great video, could you give me any advice on shooting jackdaws and magpies out in a field when they are in a tree or a hedge, not in a barn, thanks :)
Great Vid looked like an excellent evening shoot.
Great narration and Awesome Editing Weldone.

@petetheratman Thanks glad you liked it.
@spinosmen Thank you very much for that nice comment.

@rapidhunting Thanks for the 5/5. Its not easy to film and hunt at the same time but i always try and make a story of it, spotting the rabbit, stalking the rabbit, getting the shot and a look at the end to see where the pellet hit.

Martin
Nice video, may I ask if the rifle is sub 12 ft lbs energy? Thanks:)
Love your videos mate. Always very professional and clean kills. Very nice filming and explainations about everything too.
You ever film through the scope? Id love to see how you aim on some of the longer shots!
Also must be very easy to loose those rangefinders if you put them down in the grass!
another great video! i was just wondering in your opinion what would you say the maximum range for a 12ft pound .22 springer air rifle would be?
Very good video, probably the best yet. I noticed that you haven't got a silencer on the theoben, it doesn't seem very loud, but my uncle has a BSA R-10 with a silencer and he took two rabbits that were only 6 yards apart. That first shot was brilliant!
@MasterMark915 Thank you for your nice comment.
love your videos :) just wondering what range you recomend zeroing a scope
I am very impressed with your shots. Very accurate.
@Igunsmart Sorry no i don't skin them as there doesn't seem to be any market for them in Northern Ireland unfortunately.
@HuntersVermin thank you, happy new years ;)
@spinosmen Yes both my air rifles are pcp powered and i charge them from a divers scuba tank.
@SadSupertramp I am using a pcp powered air rifle (high pressure dry air the same as a divers scuba tank) not a .22lr rimfire rifle.
Wow! I wish I had the hunting opportunities and permissions that you do. Once again, I must say this is another great video. Pro kills nice accent your video is some of the best on youtube.
good shooting mate, good to see a professional at work.
@dejanlerch17 Thank you, I am using a 30ft/lb .22cal pcp powered Theoben MFR air rifle.
Another amazing video, looking forward to ones in the future
I love cows...they are such curious creatures....

Nice shooting man and great tutorial vids. Keep it up and here's to a successful new years shooting.
Excellent hunting there m8, can I ask what scope make and size do you use on both your air rifles, also where can I purchase your dvd from, how many dvd's do you have available to buy,
@gopherbar First and last light are the best. The first hours of light are the quietest but colder than a few hours before dark on a nice sunny day.
im just getting into air rifle hunting and i got the crosman nitro venom dusk for christmas. Do you have any tips for a beginner?
by the way... loving the vids :D
You are my idol. Good fieldcraft, good commentary, and good neighbors! Do you share the hunt with them?

very nice videos. i enjoy watching them. can you tell me, what you used to make the shooting sticks in the video. ie. diamtre poles and length and type. keep up the good work. regards daniel matlock derbyshire
@Bassaholic132 Yes they are a rubber gourmet to help stop them pushing too deep into the ground.
@MrDie1968 Thanks, thankfully i haven't seen too much maxi on my shoots this very but its still early yet.
@superhunter992 I did have a Gas Ram air rifle from Theoben years ago but i haven't had a go with one of the Niro Piston guns yet.
It really depends on power and caliber but the rule of thumb for a 12ft/lb airgun is zero a .22cal at around 25-30 yards and a .177cal at around 35-40 yards.
Love your videos man im just like you and i do big game keep up the good hunting
What gun did you use? And thank you for uploading great videos
@Jahazdaabba1 Yes that is right for the UK but in Northern Ireland we need a licence for any air rifle 12ft/lb or not. 12ft/lb is about 560fps in .22cal and 780fps in .177cal depending on the pellet used.

@Ribbitmefoot Thanks you very much.
What is the round things on the end of your shootin' sticks? Are the some sort of stop so they don't go too deep in the muck?
I really don't know as we don't have any wild hogs in Northern Ireland but there are a few really high powered .25cal and .30 cal air rifles on the market that have been used at close range hog shooting.
@PuppTheFerreter Thank you.
@3paramatt Thank you very much.
Sham, that's some good shooting. Your vids very professional.
