Great vid as always. Glad you used the sticks on a few shoots as im learning to stalk using the 4 foot sticks and it takes a bit of getting used to carrying the rifle and sticks at the same time. Its nice to watch you carry and deploy them smoothly gives me the inspiration to keep practicing with them.
@rapidhunting I think it is the same mag that the MFR uses, i used to use a 12 shot mag but it started to give problems so i bought two of the cheaper 7 shot mags.
Oh cool, that sounds like a nifty piece of kit and thanks for the quick response. On another note, what make of springer rifle would you recommend for a beginner for around £100. I'd want to hunt rabbits but only on occasion as it'll take me a while to become accurate. Many thanks
@date4506 Its a Bushnell Scout 1000 that i got some years ago on sale but can't mind where. I make up my ballistics chart the old way by putting out targets at different ranges and mark down where the pellet hits on a pice of paper which i stick to the inside of the lense cover with dubble sided tape.
@bobinwarrior A rangefinder is a small hand held device that can be used to tell you how far a target is from you by firing a lazer beem at it and timing how long it takes to bounce back.
Yet another fantastic video mate, excellent and very well put together. What do you do with the rabbits, do you eat some and give some to the farmer for foxes etc or do you just eat the lot?.
Great video! I have 2 questions, are you using a Co2 powered rifle or spring, is it .177 pellets? And how much do you make a month for the filming of this? Thanks
@webaster919 As a flip up cover it is very good as it folds right back out nof the way when open, and the arrows do help you line the scope up right when zeroing or practicing but i hardly notice them when hunting.
@BeerGogglesReviews No you still need a licence for a 30ft/lb air rifle in the UK and were i live in Northern Ireland we need a licence for any air rifle. Glad you liked the vids.
@belgrave1984 No 60 yards is pushing it for a 12ft/lb rifle, 35-40 is a better range but only if you can shoot accurately enough for a head shot at that range.
excellent video your commentaries are improving all the time,i just got s410 carbine.177 12ftiibs they take a bit of getting used to after a springer but got a rabbit first time out. the others never even looked but were to far away for a shot i like the gun its so quiet speak soon baz.
It's a long time since I hunted. Used to use a Weihrach 77k .177 I see you have a 30ft/lb rifle. Do you need license for that or have rules changed? I doubt that things have relaxed. I could no longer get my magazines because of the knee jerk reactions to air rifle mags. Great vids though mate.
It depends on how much you have to spend and whether you want spring powered or pcp etc, but anything from Airarms, Daystate, Theoben, FX, Weihrauch to name a few should be good.
@bobinwarrior There are a lot of air guns for around £100 but the AGS Value Max from Webley is the only one that can think of that is powerful enough for hunting but so long as a rifle has about 11.5 ft/lb of energy it will be fine for most samll game in the UK.
@alpha2p That wouldn't be a bad idea for a video, i usually use the same garden stakes i used for my shooting stick or hide poles and 2-3 hide nets with a lot of natural foliage added to it, but if you can find a natural hide like a hole in the hedge its even better.
@gnomehater63 Yes they can be covered in fleas, some poeple will leave them on a fence post till they cool where the fleas will leave to look for another warm body.
Yes there is, Myxomatosis would be the main one i would see but we are told that we can't catch it, but there are others like mange that foxes can have that you need to look out for.
can u tell me plz i have a bsa superten and a bsa ultra 12lbs both of them what distance should i shot a rabbit at the moment i shoot around 30 to 35 yards one shot kills but i went lamping last night and the rabbits was around 55 to 60 yard but didnt take the shot just in case would u take the shot at 60 yards with 12lb thanks
@ecoster but ... do you want rabbit all the time? "What is there for supper?" "Rabbit, like yesterday, the day before and the day before and the day before ..." :D
@RnBxHaMsTeRzZ11 Looks like both the .177 and .22cal have the power for hunting (11.5ft/lb) the .177 shoots flater than the .22 and good for head shots while the .22 has more knock down power making it better for heart shots. But both will cleanly kill rabbit sized game with a shot to the right kill zone.
@crazycool7777 At 1200fps your rifle should be powerful enough for that sort of range but it takes a lot of practice to shoot accurately enough at long range for a head shot.
@wanderson What I think he does is film the kill and then afterwards films himself doing the shot set up, stalking etc. It's great editing that pulls it all together.
@Airgunner2123 Well on this farm there was so many rabbits that the farmer had to reseed a field twice in the same year because the rabbits were eatting the grass quicker than it could grow, so asked me to try and reduce their numbers as much as posible.

Just started shooting rabbits, but it would take me a few years to get to your standard. Brilliant vids. Keep them coming.
@rapidhunting I think it is the same mag that the MFR uses, i used to use a 12 shot mag but it started to give problems so i bought two of the cheaper 7 shot mags.
I really enjoy watching your videos, it's nice to see things being done the right way. Keep up the good work and happy hunting.
Nice video mate, were those some different sticks you were using? Or were they wraped in camo tape?
What a fantastic video, great shooting. It's a lot of work and effort to do all this, but, it's so enjoyable to watch.
Oh cool, that sounds like a nifty piece of kit and thanks for the quick response. On another note, what make of springer rifle would you recommend for a beginner for around £100. I'd want to hunt rabbits but only on occasion as it'll take me a while to become accurate. Many thanks

Very nice headshots. Especially the one to the eye. What rifle are you using?
@bobinwarrior A rangefinder is a small hand held device that can be used to tell you how far a target is from you by firing a lazer beem at it and timing how long it takes to bounce back.

Glad you liked the vids.
@05kendalls and do you use pointed or domed pelets, cos domed are more accurate but pointed are better for the kill?
Another great video!! Rabbit season starts here soon. I can't wait to get in the field!
Keep the videos coming!
@belgrave1984 No 60 yards is pushing it for a 12ft/lb rifle, 35-40 is a better range but only if you can shoot accurately enough for a head shot at that range.
@ballkeeper1 Thanks, i should get about 50 shots from my 30ft/lb MFR and its 280cc bottle. Think the most rabbits i took in one evening is 25.
excellent video your commentaries are improving all the time,i just got s410 carbine.177 12ftiibs they take a bit of getting used to after a springer but got a rabbit first time out. the others never even looked but were to far away for a shot i like the gun its so quiet speak soon baz.
"not a kick in the toosh off 100 yards" lol. I know the lingo but i wonder does everyone else get it.lol
Brilliant video mate, well done. Rich
@MrFermanaghman Thanks and good luck with those bunnys.
It's a long time since I hunted. Used to use a Weihrach 77k .177
I see you have a 30ft/lb rifle. Do you need license for that or have rules changed?
I doubt that things have relaxed. I could no longer get my magazines because of the knee jerk reactions to air rifle mags. Great vids though mate.
@05kendalls I use Bisley Magnum pellets as they are one of the few that will shoot accurately out of my 30ft/lb MFR. I use a Meopta 4-16x44 scope.
It depends on how much you have to spend and whether you want spring powered or pcp etc, but anything from Airarms, Daystate, Theoben, FX, Weihrauch to name a few should be good.
@SugarJugsx Thank you, but it still surprises how much people like the videos.
@SnipzKiing Thank you glad you liked the vid.
@ballkeeper1 Thanks glad you liked them.

@TamrynRimfire Thanks again Tam glad you like the vid.
@danialphaomega Thanks glad you liked it.
@Darrenholmes I use a 7 shot mag that doesn't stop the bolt from moving forward like the 12 shot does.
Great video and very nice shooting love watching you hunt.
@HuntersVermin Cheers mate. Beautiful filming by the way. As clear as being there. CHEERS!!
@kylethequadman Thanks and yes i should have some thing to up load before long.
nic shooting one again mate! what are the legs of your sticks made out of? as need something that will also stick in the ground, thanks.
@alpha2p That wouldn't be a bad idea for a video, i usually use the same garden stakes i used for my shooting stick or hide poles and 2-3 hide nets with a lot of natural foliage added to it, but if you can find a natural hide like a hole in the hedge its even better.
@bushcraftybaz Thanks, it took me a while to get on to a pcp as well.
That was certainly a good night of hunting. Good video.
Your magazine must be different than mine, mine wont let me push the bolt forward when the pellets run out.
@mrwatusay It has about 832fps with 21grain bisley magnum pellets.
Love your vids mate what distance can a springer with around 11ftlbs kill a rabbit from
@gnomehater63 Yes they can be covered in fleas, some poeple will leave them on a fence post till they cool where the fleas will leave to look for another warm body.
@TheRabbitsniper Thank you.
Yes there is, Myxomatosis would be the main one i would see but we are told that we can't catch it, but there are others like mange that foxes can have that you need to look out for.
@DamnDogNow Thanks and yes i have shot rats in the past but can't get them on film as my camera is no good in lamp light.
hey .. nice shooting .. i'm willing to buy Bushnell Scout 1000 ... is it well made ? have you test the holdover with it ? works good in air rifle ?
@angof Yes it did take a bit of practice to get used to them but now they are very handy.
Another great video, keep up the good shooting and vid's .Thank you
@Igunsmart Thanks, i eat some of them and use some as crow bait the rest i feed to my cats who love them.
@monkeydad1969 Thanks, its a .22cal 30ft/lb Theoben MFR.
Do you have people hunting with you? Those Camera angles are really cool.
Great videos Mr. H, it took me a while to figure out that i knew that voice, hows you keeping
do you eat them all? like ... 2-3 rabbits per week?
Thank you very much.
Oh are they , because I made the shooting sticks that you posted a video for on here (: ill see if I can make them sharper some how haha!
Joel.
Another great vid you make it look so easy mate
can u tell me plz i have a bsa superten and a bsa ultra 12lbs both of them what distance should i shot a rabbit at the moment i shoot around 30 to 35 yards one shot kills but i went lamping last night and the rabbits was around 55 to 60 yard but didnt take the shot just in case would u take the shot at 60 yards with 12lb thanks
@isofaster Thank you.
@TheXsara1 Thanks and just keep practicing.
Another excellent video. I really enjoy your videos. Nice shooting too!
@biggermanbomber No i eat some of them and use some as bait for crows but the cats who love them get the rest.
@nattydreadlocks1973 Thank you very much for that nice comment.
@HuntersVermin Yes realy yr videos are one the best i have ever seen!!!!GJ AND GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND!!!! You DESERVE IT!!!
@mrwiggles2 Thank you very much.
@uwlord Yeah a lot of people seem to be having that problem these days but if you keep trying you'l get there.
@moonbear Thank you.
@ecoster Yeah it is a bit of work at times. Thanks.
@ecoster but ... do you want rabbit all the time? "What is there for supper?" "Rabbit, like yesterday, the day before and the day before and the day before ..." :D

hey man really nice shootin. what exactly do you do with them. you would have alot of nice meat.
Well done mate. Some great head shots. 10/10.
@TheBoofdog Thanks maybe some day hopefully.
@Outdoorsman1515 I think i have had near 15 at one time but it gets very heavy at that.
I have one and it works fine for me at air gun ranges and beyond.
@hibs02 Yeah it puts muscles on ya carring it around but i have had as many as 10-15 in it at times.
@crazycool7777 At 1200fps your rifle should be powerful enough for that sort of range but it takes a lot of practice to shoot accurately enough at long range for a head shot.
@HeLLsMeSSnGR Thank you.
@VarmintHunters Thanks.

@7979Army Thanks.
@DugyD97 Look for a spot on the side of a rabbits head just behind the eye and below the ear.
another great vid mate some cracking shooting there .
Nice Camo you blend in very well with that hedge behind you at 4:25
wow that was an amazing shot well done man
wow that was some good hunting man and those rabbits are some good eatting
@Baldric990 Thank you.
@SkitzLdN Thank you and i'd love to do some night work but my camcorder is useless at night with a lamp.
gr8 video . always enjoy your presentations .
This may sound stupid but what's a rangefinder?
@MdashMUNIT Yes i wraped them in cammo tape as i find that this makes them quieter.
@barneyrubble32 Yes you can but spring and summer is the best time.
@BeerGogglesReviews Thanks.
They are made from some garden stakes. I have a video on how to make the shooting sticks on my channel.
Well firstly its a pcp powered air rifle (high pressure dry air) and its in .22cal.
@tvdxrools No i haven't knowingly eaten a rabbit with Myxomatosis nor do i want to, but we are told that humans can't catch Myxomatosis.
@sceneginger013 Thanks.
Another fantastic video
