One of the most brutal 40k stories I have read was between the Flesh Tearers and the World Eaters and it ended with a duel between Seth and World Eater champion. Chainaxe vs Bloodreaver was a gory and wrathful contest between two men who only wanted to literally rip the other warrior into shreds. Great video. Your lore videos have helped me get absolutely hooked on everything Warhammer
So fitting that their founder fought in the pits pre heresy and there's even a short story post heresy where a Flesh Tearer was caged to fight for the 12th as a pit fighter.
@@Alexanderofthe9thIt's actually sad cuz Amit and the World Eaters Apothecary, Kargos, were buddies, but wind up duelling each other to the death during the Siege of Terra.
The Remembrancer is the only reason i'm a fan of Warhammer. I've tried other channels but this is the only one that speaks to me in a way that leaves me wanting more.
The Knights of Blood know more of walking the red twilight of the 🩸 than any other in the legion more likely. They knew the end path and how only redemption came to them in the form of sacrifice, rage, the inner beast that kills for the thrill and ultimately taming it just enough to die and end the hunt so others may live. Knights of 🩸
The Flesh Tearers are the premier berserker chapter really, their very blood does naturally what the butcher's nails simulate. I think Seth is kind of a Loyalist mirror to Kharn too, what he could have been maybe even with the nails. Awesome vid
🎼Here come the Red...🎶 A quite disturbing and unhinged little ditty at the end, that. You sure that that insanity isn't a sign of the Red Thirst coming on?
These guys are super pissed! A chapter you have no issues rooting for but aren't as bummed when a brother gets killed because of their battle doctrine and it'll probably be epic. Enjoyed this!
My brother Amit had best line of the heresy when each time he killed his chain brother athe bloodspitter. Each time "eat shit traitor“& ""I said eat shit traitor.
The Flesh Eaters were pretty much the forerunner loyal chapter for being so savage that most other chapters regarded them as almost heretical for their practice of eating the flesh of their enemies as well as their own flesh. This was back in the early Rogue Trader days, before WH40k sorted itself into a more coherent game system/lore. There are some truly incredible chapters from the early days of what became WH40k that have been either forgotten or just written out of the new WH40k lore, such as the Rainbow Warriors, Mentor Legion, and their home-worlds/sectors of space. Some new gamers are now bringing these early chapters back into play, after being shown the early history of the Imperium from old copies of White Dwarf or by talking to gamers like myself, who were there when Citadel first started, later to become Games Workshop. I still have some old Imperial Guard painted up as the Spider tattooed Necromundan Guardsmen, who worshipped the Emperor as their Spider God, and tattooed a spider on their faces in his honour. I still like the Flesh Tearers chapter, but would still like to see the old Rogue Trader chapters brought into the light again, with all their flaws and history for new gamers to see and explore.
Cretacians can talk. They don't during hunts, either being silent or making noises. But, they can speak. They just tend not to, cause most of their problems are obvious, so they usually don't need to discuss much.
Gabriel Seth reminds me of older Guts from Berserk. He is brash, direct, level headed for a man so filled with rage. But when he goes into battle, he is an unstoppable force if rage.
I’m curious how Seth can remove someone from the inquisition and not be brutally ripped in half with everything thing they have!?, what about the months of shame with the wolves! He dissed an inquisitor investigating him!?
sir will we get more vids on other blood angels successor chapters?? i fear the flesh tearers and lamenters are the only ones that get mentioned while the others get blotted out.
Just to add to Seth that bit with the Inquisitor seeing the red thirst yeah I remember it it wasn't the thirst he saw it was the black rage from a fallen flesh tearer and the Inquisitor just looked at his sign of office dropped it and declared he was utterly unfit to be a judge of lives( he had a apprentice in a way) the rose up in power after seeing her mentor she swore justice....but then was killed by the death company lol love Seth he's fun 😂
I love the Flesh Tearers; they are the greatest example of...If you can't fix it with words; throw some death company guys onto their ship while they are trying to get away and let them solve it.
if i am to march to my doom i shal do it with my saw toothed iconography to the fore so the traitorous hordes know it is a flesh tearer thats reaps their cowardly hides😊
Greetings brother, ooh i have no idea where all your fallen brothers war gear has gone. I think i saw a ork with one of your axes must have been the green skins. Fear not brother we will search for your lost gear out of this system.
On Signus Prime, the Angel fights demon prince KaBandha who gravely wounds Sanguinius. Hoping to bring the Blood Angels over to the side chaos, the Red Thrist sleeping in the genetics of the Blood Angels legion is awakened & released by KaBandha... the Blood Angels literally stab, burn, kill, murder, bite, chew,... everything in their path, anyone within reach including their own brothers.. when the demon army goes head to head with the psycho red thirsting blood angels, the shear brutal savagery of the angels killing their way across the battlefield makes the demon army turn and run.. the Angels run after them cutting them down from behind..
What is awesome about the Flesh Tearers, is that they usually move their battle fleet and chapter way ahead of the Imperium in general. Because they know they will not stop with the enemies of mankind after any battles. They know what they are, and go out of their way to avoid any friendly casualties. But sometimes. They have to get stuck in amongst their other battle brothers. And when that happens...well they are the Flesh Tearers 🤷😏
There’s a short story in the Chaos Space Marines audiobook collection about two World Eaters warlords fighting for control of a huge Khornate warband. They decide to settle things by selecting champions - one chooses Khârn the Betrayer, and the other chooses a Flesh Tearer who has succumbed to Chaos and become a monstrous champion of Khorne. They simply call him the “Flesh Tearer” and he is kept on a leash by the warlord. He has mutated to have a mouth full of fangs and he acts like a wild animal. I love that they chose a Flesh Tearer to show how close these guys are to Khorne.
When this chapter was under 200, the imperium should have totally stopped any support and isolated it till it died off from the rage blockaded on their planet.
Saying Humanity in 40k is good is like saying humanity is good in the real world. Don’t delude yourselves. They’re evil af. Which is why they have potential to turn to chaos.

There's also a story about Nassir Amit fighting a World Eater. You sure it's not that story?
link?
If I can find it again I'll send it to you.
It’s in Echoes of Eternity.
Flesh Tearers - When a Death Company is allowed to form a Blood Angels Successor Chapter
They are close to falling to the Black Rage, the Sable Knights would be in the same boat from your statement
Flesh Tearers: "What is this collateral damage & friendlies you speak of?!"
the living embodiment of "It's not a bug, it a feature"
Seth's interactions with Dante are some of my favorite parts of Devastation of Baal. Such a cool and conflicted character and chapter!
Flesh Tearers, the most loyal version of Warhounds turned into Blood Angels...
And I love them❤

14 hour wait, we are truly living in grim darkness.
indeed...too long lagg time in the grimm dark.

This was perfect timing as I'm literally about to begin a Flesh Tearer's army
The Flesh Tearers while a more darker reflection of the Blood Angels are still noble defenders of mankind and the Emperor Imperium.
If lore about Sanguinius trying to find a cure for his flaw he would delight in new primaris flesh tearers
FOR THE BLOOD, THE EMPEROR AND SANGUINIUS!
These guys are super pissed! A chapter you have no issues rooting for but aren't as bummed when a brother gets killed because of their battle doctrine and it'll probably be epic. Enjoyed this!
Thank you for covering this fantastic and misunderstood chapter. Your hard work is highly appreciated! 💜
My brother Amit had best line of the heresy when each time he killed his chain brother athe bloodspitter. Each time "eat shit traitor“& ""I said eat shit traitor.
The Blood Angels chapters are forever in need of dad. 😢 Uncle Bobby, Lion, need to give them hugs.

These videos are incredible! You are doing the Emperor’s Work!
One of the greatest grimderp chapters to exist lmao
I think this is one of the few chapters that truly embodies the revenant legion of old
😆 If someone spots a contingent of Flesh Tearer Astartes heading their way, the first and most important thought is usually "Oh shit....."
Yes my absolute favorite Legion. I named my bright red male Betta fish Gabriel Seth.
I absolutely loved this transmission 🙂
I feel like the Flesh Tearers mirror the World Eaters in so many ways but on a deeper level❤🩸💀
Cretacians can talk. They don't during hunts, either being silent or making noises. But, they can speak. They just tend not to, cause most of their problems are obvious, so they usually don't need to discuss much.
My favorite blood angel successor chapter
thank you so much for this flesh tearers are so awesome
Loving the new animated intro!
this is a new chapter to me they sound interesting
Is the song at the end supposer to be an Imperium lullaby?
All im saying is if he is doing different seasons then i expect the the carcharadons and big papa tyberos during shark week😂
Great chapter and you told their story well sir. Fine work !
Always love hearing you do chapter videos.
I really like these guys, there up there with the black templars for me
What an awesome surprise! I forgot this was today.

Seth is a Beast with Honor and reason.

Revenant Legion reborn. Here’s a thought: does that make Seth closer to Sanguinius than Dante?
Dante represents the noble side of Sanguinius, Seth represents his fury.
if i am to march to my doom i shal do it with my saw toothed iconography to the fore so the traitorous hordes know it is a flesh tearer thats reaps their cowardly hides😊

Btw, a new fireside on lorecrimes would be cool
The Flesh Tearers lack the hypocrisy found in more “noble” chapters.
I think Nurgle visited me whilst I was doing my doody.
I thought Sanguinius was a loyalist. These guys sound like bad guys…
thanks
I approve this video
Amit is just loyalist Kharn isn't he?

The addition of primaris to the setting is just so lame. "We are blood angels, but without the flaws" wow so cool
