This was helping! Then you would just export and save from Canva as a SVG AGAIN? Can’t wait to see the part two so I can learn the Etsy part of it. I’ve been so overwhelmed and this is so new but def want to live a laptop style life 🙌🏼♥️
Exactly but you would actually export is as a PDF but I’ll dive into more of that Wednesday for part 2. Thank you for watching & I’m glad this was helpful Jes 🫶🏾
@trinalong1095 Hi Trina. I was wondering the exact same thing. On the Figma website, I went to the top of the toolbar to the far left icon and clicked the drop down arrow. After that, I went to file>place image and then clicked on an image from my downloaded files, and place it on the canvas, and it filed in the letter. I hope this helps.
Omg I have to tell you this morning I was upset praying about my situation and frustrated with trying to figure this out. You are an instrument for GOD. I can’t thank you enough for this information.
THANK YOU!!! I've been tinkering around with canva for at least a year now, pretty hard, lots of time on it, and have kind of stayed away from frames, but now that I'm expanding my awareness of what is possible with them, of course, my first thought was, "well, how do I make my own?" After I just spent like almost a half hour/hour trying to figure out some Word "hack", which I could kind of get close, but couldn't make happen, I was getting to the part where I say screw it, and squirrel onto the next thing. Then I saw your video in the related list here, and I'm SO happy that I saw it. I'm really excited to see what kinds of crazy stuff I can come up with now that I have this trick up my sleeve. Thank you! I'm absolutely checking out your other vids, and will pin you, for what it's worth! Whitney (or Redeye Artistry)
This was very helpful and informative! Thank you. Do you have a video teaching how to make a doodle style letter frame with the outline and the "stitches."
Do you have an image already saved? Like a colorful background? If not, Canva has tons of them. Just upload from there and it will plop down into your frame in Figma.
I downloaded the svg file from Canva, but when I try to upload it in Figma it says not supported. I tried PhotoPea, but Canva wont accept that file either. Somebody help me please ! This is so frustrating.
Hi, I was thinking about making some element frames with Canva. is it safe from copyright issues or if that could cause copyright problems or even get my account suspended? PLEASE REPLY IM ALWAYS OVERTHINKING ABOUT COPYRIGHT PROBLEMS ON MY PRODUCT
I found Figma to be complicated. I am trying to complete a design and the process you used in Figma seems like it would work but I couldn't get it to do what I needed. I'm sure it's me but 😩. LOL. Thank you for this video though.
I cannot get past the first page when i try to import into figma it says it failed that the design button does not have the same drop down as yours HELp please@@DefinedByAlex
