Thank you sooooo much for sharing this. I have been wanting to do this for awhile. I had a successful conversion 1 time with Canva + Word and that was it. This appears to be a more solid way to do it.
You are so welcome! I knew about the Word way as well but I also know a lot of people do not have the Office products so I was searching for awhile to find a better way to do this.

Awesome tutorial thank you! I've tried other methods but couldn't get them to work properly but yours worked perfect! Just one thing, I tried uploading it from the tool bar on the left side of the screen but it didn't load into my uploads but later found the images on my home page

Hi this is great. Do you how to make a square r rectangle frame? I’ve been trying different ways but is seems Canva does not want us to create square or rectangle shape frames

I have a glitter alaphabet font i am wanting to use because I love the font, Can I change it to a drag and drop so that away I can use whatever background I would like?

I also wanted to let you know the glitter alaphabet font i did purchase & says it can be changed but i don't have photo shop so that is why i was trying to see if you could help showing another way for people like me that doesn't use photo shop?
I have pro version .. I done this same image - downloaded SVG > transparent.. Uploaded to Figma chose the vector image on left > added my image then hit export > PDF > export vector and it didn't move past downloaded 0/2?? What am I doing wrong?
Do I have to use the elements in canva or can I upload my own image to use??
Thank you for asking. You can definitely use your own image. I drew something in procreate and did the same process and it worked.

I don't know what I'm going wrong but it didn't work for me. Figma won't allow me to export it as a PDF or vector. It doesn't appear on the screen. I then went to express adobe just this one time to convert the png into a pdf and it didn't work at all. When I took it back to canva and hit delete the image, it really deleted the whole thing. I wasn't left with a frame like yours.
What if you want to use your own Uploaded image, can that work?

Didn't work for me, I was using a shape would that be why? When I deleted the image it deleted the whole thing.
It should not matter. What type of shape were you using and was it from Canva or another source.
