Finding an Art Studio in London!

After a pretty crazy follower increase on Instagram I ended up quitting my job to pursue art full time! This has meant that I'm in desperate need to a workspace that isn't my bedroom. I hope you guys like seeing some of the studios that I've looked at, and let me know what you think of them!

Great to see how well you're doing Zak shame about the studios but I agree without windows it would be soul destroying for you. Where are you based in London? I'm in South London and there are a few areas around here offering studio space. Also have you thought about starting a patreon account for people to follow and support you it may help with your fees for renting a space. whatever you decide I hope you find the perfect space buddy

Hi Dave, I’m also in south london! I have actually chosen a studio now, and just uploaded a video on it. I have started using the “subscription” feature on Instagram which works like a patreon but is built directly into Instagram. The studio I’ve taken has a rolling monthly contract so I’ll be keeping my eye out if one with windows becomes avaliable!

Thank you man! Once I have a studio I’d defo like to do a sort of meet and greet for people. Also if you’re in east london, the butterfly sculpture is on display in the foyer of Colt Technology Services head office. The address is 20 Great Eastern Street EC2A 3EH so if you find yourself walking past you can pop in to see it!

I do hope you'll find a studio that'll work for you. The windowles ones, can you get enough circulation while welding? That might be a concern, I think.

That's definitely a big concern of mine, I'm looking into dust extraction/filtration systems to see if I could keep the air clear!
