Having an art studio like yours is a dream for every artist. Without any doubt this is the most compleate and well organised place for art I have ever seen on internet. It is obvious that only a proffesional passionate and harworking artist can do this. Everithing is completely customized for your specific activity so that you can get the maximum creativeness and stimulation. Congratulation for all what you have done and especially how cost effective you created all the stuff there!
I agree George, I shopped everywhere looking for a really good easel for my canvas' and finally bought one (not cheap) that in all honesty it turned out to be a piece of junk. I love Andrews "Cleat Wall" concept. Very easy to build and it allows for the latitude to anchor all kinds of mood lights, photo references, pens and pencils etc. anywhere at will and to change them up as needed. Great stuff Andrew!
I am 74 yrs old, and decided to try painting for stress relief in these challenging times. You are my “go to “ YT er, congratulations on your new studio. Love your fur babies.
I really enjoyed this video Andrew ... you're such an intense artist, yet today you have me (& probably many others) grinning from ear to ear with your with and humor. I learn so much from your channel as well as your podcasts. Keep 'em coming!
I recently sold my first painting and attempted my first portrait painting, and was shocked with the outcome. Never would have continued with it without channels like yours. Thanks for the inspiration.
Andrew, just listened to an interview with you which was so enjoyable - a thought struck me about you being asked how can you paint when all the world is in a mess like it is? - but it's exactly because the world has so many challenges that we must paint - that's why artists and creative people are born - to move the world forward by sharing visions of a better world. Every tiny thing we think, say or do ripples out and touches everyone's lives on levels we can't imagine. The worth of that to this world is invaluable and we may never fully grasp just how much of an effect and influence we are having, even by just being here - seeing everyone, interacting, moving through this world with the eyes and purpose of a creative artist. We create because of an irrepressible love of beauty and that love of beauty cannot fail to change the world. Thank you for all you do and for inspiring me not to go missing from my own life, to turn up, to be prepared and to determine to be more present and fearlessly, fully engaged in my own path and find my own unique voice and vision. From my heart to yours - thank you brother, your Presence in this world is priceless.
This was fun to watch, a beam of light in the darkness. You are a renaissance man! Future trip to NZ S. Island Lawrence on my bucket list :-) Very much looking forward to the release of Epic Landscapes! Thank you for sharing this!
Now this. THIS is a studio tour! Thank you for talking about the ups and downs and showing the process of putting together a functional studio, rather than just showing us pretty plants on a shelf.
Andrew, I discovered your videos over the winter and have watched most of them. They made me realise I never really knew where to start, not unusual as I am self taught. My own 'studio' is a 6ft x 6ft shed with a roof light I set-in myself (like you I like making stuff) plus adapted ceiling lights with daylight bulbs. It's fairly limited with a home made full size easel, home made drawer rack, side work surface and foam insulation. Yes, all on the cheap. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather to get back to a landscape and a portrait I have been planning. If only my painting skills were as full as my enthusiasm I'd be... well, average. Just putting that out there for people like me who will never be an accomplished artist but get pleasure (and some pain) from trying. Looking forward to more of your videos.
When I get into a rut ! Its always great to watch your inspiration and energy level . I am in the marine business full time , its very hard to paint as much as I would like . When my ship comes in I keep saying I will then be a full time artist! The gallery gets upset when I do not have something new to put in...…… Thanks for all you do. Al
You are a gift for lots of people, I can't understand how you accomplish so many things in a normal life with 24 hour days, but you do with excellence in every detail. I hope you keep bringing us so much joy as now to your growing community. Video informative and funny
Organization is key in setting up any work space, I love space and have a Graceland building, we sheet rocked and plumbed, and wired. It's very nice to have.
Oh wow, I thought your studio looked amazing from the brief glimpses you have given us before, but this is out of this world. Thank you so much for the share and for the more personal insights. Looking forward to the new Epic Landscape tutorial. I know it will be another smashing success.
I've been building my own studio for a few years and seeing how your studio is comfortable, spacious, beautiful and handy just set my standards high! I'm so glad you spoke about how you made certain things and didn't just buy them ready online. Thanks for putting so much hard work and passion into your art and content and thank you for sharing it with us. It's truly inspiring and I can't wait to get a chance to visit your gallery one day!
What a great video.....agree 1 million percent with your "Creative Minds" theory. I have worked as an interior decorator for 20 years and found it the perfect venue to exercise my creative mind while away from the easel or sketchbook. My clients quickly realize I can convey my vision much more quickly through a rough sketch..and that color and paint selections are my most fav aspect of the design. Envisioning a finished space in my mind's eye is another perk from my art background. Loving returning to the easel and making it my new priority. Keep these videos coming! Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Andrew I absolutely loved this. Thank you so much! The tour, interspersed with tips and tricks was so entertaining and educational. I love that you use antiques to store supplies - something I too love to do... I hunted down all kinds of old wooden card catalogs, drawers and even a watchmaker's cabinet to store my art and craft supplies. I also love that you have carried on your mother's talent and treasure her portfolio! My dad taught me to draw and oil paint when I was young - now I am retired and getting the paints back out and treasure the silliest of things; I have his old Bob Ross / William Alexander palette knife and am thrilled to put it to use again! Your space is a dream come true - amazing and organised and full of character. Thank you so much for having me in your Studio. I wish one day I could travel there to see it in person, but since that's probably not going to happen, this is the next-best thing!
I love that you're still using your old music in your videos 😊 Old time fan and you're a true inspiration to me and many others, thank you for everything you've done
What a fantastic play room! really awesome space. Even love the inclusion of a ‘chill out’ space in the centre, there’s nothing like sitting on a couch mulling over what next steps to take on a piece or just too admire your own hard work. The reveal of the “Paint-view 2000” with the flute rendition of Jurassic Park had me in stitches 😂
As an artist, I sometimes hit a painters block, and need inspiration. Your presence and ideas as well as instruction fills that block and inspires me to stay in my little studio. I have so many ideas and subject matter as I am a retired Rancher in Florida spending a lot of time in the cattle and citrus business and seeing the old Florida disappear with development, I have a strong desire to get that history on canvas; the cow camps; roundups; Kerr dogs used to bunch cattle and personalities of "day riders" who assist us on the big roundups. Many of the things you have suggested I do. Hard problems to solve are put aside such as a painting of manatee's and for two years I would pass by that work when I solved the problem. I have a cabinet, old library cardholder, that I keep tubes of paint and brushes and electrical for quick use. Thank you for the effort and time you use to inspire artist everywhere. Larry Hudson - Florida Cowboy Artist.
I LOVE this video! Your studio is an artist's dream. I know you've worked hard to make it what it is so congratulations! Sharing it with us was wonderful. One of my favorite artist/instructors used to be Helen Van Wyk. It was a dream of mine that I may get to visit her studio one day. Well, that didn't happen but before she passed away she released a book called Welcome To My Studio that had big, lovely pictures. It was the next best thing to being there in person. As excited as I was about pictures, you can imagine how much I enjoyed your video. We're all wishing you even more & more success! And thank you for all you share with us!☺
Dear Andrew, this was a wonderful video. I learnt a lot. Two things are my takeaway - 1) keep things organized. and 2) things will automatically be clean. The lighting is also an important aspect. I usually try to do as much as possible before the daylight starts getting mellow (around 3 is in Kolkata, India).
So great, watching for a long time your e olution has inspired my heart to never stop doi g my art, not even close to your talent, but keeps me happy and moving forward. Thanks for cool tour and gadget 2000 so kool...loved it all; Oh the Gallery is perfect!!!!!!! xxxxx🎨😎
Now that’s a true “State of the Art” place, awesome. ;) I’d love to see your shot on a small, corner of the room, studio too, that’s more like my reality. Congrats Andrew!
OK. This is my first time on your channel and I'm already blown away by your art and your place. You - and Slew - have raised the bar of the artistic game for me. OMG THIS IS IT. THIS IS THE STUDIO THAT I ALWAYS DREAMED OF. I'm not kidding. When I think about working with art full time (and I am not even close to your paint level yet - I'm actually far far far away from it) that's how I imagine my workplace. OMG. I love it. I want to be just like you when I grow up. Well done!
This made my day. I love seeing studio space that works! Thank you for the email and heads up for viewing. Looking forward to more videos and more remarkable work. Peace to all and good health.
MAKE IT TIGHTER... tighten down the bolts a little more on your wall fixture will give a smooth controllable operation of it... more stability with out it slipping out of place. Or also add SPRING LOADED adjusters to the bolts and washers for more control and stability.
After watching this I realized that you are much more than a pretty face with a painting talent! You are a flipping genius! I know that you get help from your better half too. I see that influence. I see now how determination becomes success! It may be too late for me but I'm watching closely from Kentucky!
Deborah, believe me, it is NEVER too late. I am 73, embarked on my 3rd career since High School. As long as you have the desire to create you will be on your own journey. Good luck. Keep going forward!
Andrew has many Kentucky followers. I am 71 . Had put this part of life on hold for many years. Just now getting to what was always my passion. Having to relearn some techniques. Thankful to Andrew for sharing his ideals and his gifts. Never to old...just the right time.
Andrew, thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to show us your spaces and pass along your knowledge. I just moved into my first official studio outside of home and this helped me see how I can improve it!
When you first showed us this new studio space a good while back, I got excited for you, and thought we would get to see how you set things up and etc. Since then it has felt like something was missing. thank you for making me feel whole again. I live in Japan and paint in a tiny space, but I can dream big.
I’ve been a sign painter for over 50yrs and have hung over 100 signs with the French clerestory, when you showed us your wall easel with French cletes fireworks went off in my head and can’t wait to get started. I’m in south Florida so I’m also going to do a couple outside as well. Thank you! Duane Hatfield
Its a dream studio and gallery space. You are an amazing artist Andrew. I have been following you for many years and get inspired with every video that you post. Your videos are very detailed and easy to follow . Keep up the good work.
I ‘ve been following you for a while now and i get so inspired seeing everything you share and your journey as a true artist. I ve learned a lot from you and seeing your studio makes me so excited that one day i have to visit your place . Every video you make provides a lot of knowledge and shows that how much experience this requires to reach that point in life where you have achieved a lot in life.
Andrew I love your studio you gave some very good pointers on it to. I have been painting for almost 60 years and had to downsize my studio over the last 10 years due to health and location, from a large room in my home with a fully stocked work shop to watercolors on my kitchen table and oils in a corner of my living room in a one bedroom apartment. I'm looking forward to your video on small studios hope I can learn from It. Your paintings and videos are fantastic.
What you had to say at the end about relating to your artist mentality/acceptance has changed my game! Thank you. I am that hands on, get the tools out kinda chick and it was just superb relating to how your head space works! Loved it! Thanks for sharing that!
Love it. You think like I do when planning something to make/build. My carpenter husband can build anything "if" he has a "real" plan with measurements, etc. Me, I create something needed like you! LOL. It's in our heads I think, like a painting before we ever really start. I agree, we apply the creativeness to everything. I teach piano, carving, painting- and a good teacher has to be creative in explaining. If the student doesn't understand something, you must say it in another way, repeating the same thing won't get anywhere. It may take several "another ways". I also love to cook/bake and even got to go to the Pillsbury Bake-Off years ago and won several national recipe contests with my own creations. Artists must create, no matter what or how! Thanks again Andrew. Wonderful video.
Tienes un estudio envidiable por cualquier artista, soy español y no se tu idioma no te entiendo lo que dices ,pero creo que unas imágenes vale más que mil palabras, gracias por enseñarlo enhorabuena y que crees mucho arte y lo compartas.
Wow......awesome studio! Even more impressive is your organizational ability! You have a very logical mind and, of course, creative as well. Great to see someone else who straddles both worlds. Thanks for the video. Take care, Wray
What a beautiful studio! And so well organized, which I can learn a lesson from. I love your gallery, showcasing your work and your friend's sculptures. If I ever get to New Zealand, I will definitely stop by.
Talented? naturally. Amateur Engineer? of course. The most awesome all-round artist the world has ever seen? That would be Andrew Tischler then. Thank you for letting us into your workspace. You are a true inspiration, Andrew.
Wow! I mean wow!!!!! It's like playland for artists! Woooooow! Something to aim for! And I see your family was very artistic. Thanks for that! Super inspiring!
Hello Andrew! Thank you for inviting us to share your moments of painting and your precious advice and results of your product and technical tests as well as opening up your world of painting in New Zealand, which we visit from time to time as well as Australia or live part of our Family. Congratulations your professionalism and your immense talent. See you soon ! Patrick from New Caledonia.
У Вас невероятная студия, это что то фантастическое для меня!!! Там можно экскурсии проводить))))!Столько всяких деталей, не зря говорят, комфорт в мелочах! А сколько у вас инструментов для работы и творения?!! Вы удивительный!!
What a work space...and the gallery next door. Before I retired I had a similar set up, but on a smaller scale. Just a pleasure to work in something like that. Makes you excited to go to work. And having the gallery attached makes it so much easier to sell work ( apart from all the interruptions) I paint less these days, in a smaller space. You brought back a lot of memories. I wish I had $10 for every time I cut myself on glass sheets ! Happy days !
I have the dining room to paint..to sew,and recibe visit ,no money for studio...I glad you have that big studio, materials ,ideas ..I wish for you the best..
Your studio is wonderful; I have a fairly nice one also. What I don’t have is your talent and amazing ability. I think I need to get into something like an old fashioned phone booth and be infused with extra talent! I’m basically a watercolor with colored pencil artist, but I’d give anything to paint as well as you. Best wishes and stay well from Connecticut in the US! Jane 😉
love it - you might also want to mention the 'powers that be' that are filming you "strolling through the hardware store and filming you in your studio explaining your filming processes - thanks so much for this - great vid(s ... all put together)
Hey Andrew, so many of your faithful have commented about having such a small space to call their "studio", I wondered if you or others ever heard of a "reducing glass"? it is the opposite of a magnifying glass, just like it sounds, and gives limited space artists or limited mobility artists a similar view of stepping back to see a better perspective, but if you can't step back, you can use this. I thought it was a miracle when I first got one, and still have it 30 some years later! Hope it helps someone.
Looking forward to the small studio video and more of your painting videos. You are a great teacher and a happy note in this difficult time. Thank you for all of it.
Having a good example from Andrew I also made my wall easle with a cost of 50 EUR and a table pallet of glass with almost no cost. It is always advisable to see what the proffessionals are doing so that you follow them. Thanks again Andrew! God bless you! and Happy painting!
Thank you Andrew, what an interesting tour of your enviable facility. Well done. I live in a retirement Community and our home space does not allow me the luxury of a 'studio'. Nevertheless, that does not stop me from painting ,a pastime I love . I paint outside on the deck, we do have " to the floor" clear blinds though to lower 'n keep it cool breeze free :) 'n wind up or halfway in warmer days. I am 83 yo and will continue to paint as long as I can see and hold a brush. I thank you for your beautiful art and watching your videos inspires me to keep creating and enjoying my efforts to produce the best results I can . You are a wonderful role model to all aspiring artists, young 'n old. I wish you Health 'n Happiness in your life.
Your videos are great, Andrew! I like your long videos, too! Thanks for sharing on TH-cam. I recently had my 9th grade art students watch your "Drawing a Seascape with Crashing Waves" video because I knew that you would capture their attention (you are slightly younger and cooler than I am).... and they picked up SO many great tips about drawing in graphite!! We are working on our own landscape projects now, and I keep reminding them of what they learned from your video. Best wishes in all of your creative endeavors!
SIR andrew Im your biggest fan here in Philippines. I always watched your painting sessions. And it teach me a lot for making my own paintings.your such an inspiration to all beginners like me..:)
NOT jealous!! Ok, totally jealous! This, along with your paintings, is a total inspiration! If you can do it, so can I. I have no idea how long it will take, but inspiration will get me much closer, one day at a time! Someone once said, if you're not working towards your goal, you're moving away from it. Each step, no matter how small and insignificant, builds to this! Thanks Andrew! Always inspiring, HUGS!
What a fascinating journey through one of the most amazing and inspiring artist studios I have ever seen! Just wow. Thank you Andrew for continously showing such generosity in sharing art information and experiences to creatives and art supporters around the world! Keep up all of your beautiful hard work - you are very much appreciated by all of us.
Appreciate your studio tour. I'm moving into a new home soon and I am looking for ideas for a large basement to try to figure out what the heck I'm going to do for my creative space. Sometimes I wonder if it would make it easier if I had less space to work with. You have some wonderful ideas and I just love your art. Thank you again for sharing with us!

Hey Andrew that’s not a studio, that’s an artist paradise, I am really impressed how everything in there does have a very interesting story.
I am 74 yrs old, and decided to try painting for stress relief in these challenging times. You are my “go to “ YT er, congratulations on your new studio.

Holy smokes! This is a studio on steroids! My painting area is the size of a small closet. LOL!

KY viewer too. I love his channel, this was a fun one seeing him in the hardware store and doing neat things 😊
I know how she feels tho...keep moving forward
Keep the dream going. Never let the flame die. Passion and creating and it's calling is the original spark in living.
This is so cool! I loved the fact that you still have your mom's portfolio. That's so special.
Looking forward to your next one on a teeny weeny studio, which is unfortunately my reality. Thank you for all your vids!
As mentioned in my email, you are a true ambassador for Art. Great stuff! Not jealous at all 😍
Thanks Mike!
Its a dream studio and gallery space. You are an amazing artist Andrew. I have been following you for many years and get inspired with every video that you post. Your videos are very detailed and easy to follow . Keep up the good work.
Oh boi! Lonnnnggg time coming!!
you deserve it, you work hard stay grounded and humble...you have and still inspire many including me and I thank you
I ‘ve been following you for a while now and i get so inspired seeing everything you share and your journey as a true artist.
I’m absolutely in love with (and envious) of your studio space.
You are a shining example of what an artist and every artist should be! thanks for letting me into the studio tour
What a beautiful studio! And so well organized, which I can learn a lesson from. I love your gallery, showcasing your work and your friend's sculptures. If I ever get to New Zealand, I will definitely stop by.
You are just excellent . No word can describe your passion for what you do .
Talented? naturally. Amateur Engineer? of course. The most awesome all-round artist the world has ever seen? That would be Andrew Tischler then. Thank you for letting us into your workspace. You are a true inspiration, Andrew.
I think Andrew is this generation's Leo Da Vinci.
Only with super modern resources.
Always a pleasure to listen to your videos. Clear, precise, and fun.
What a dream studio and gallery space! I love that cleat wall.
Always enjoy interactions with you Andrew. Thanks for your involvement in the art community.
The place looks huge. What a dream studio.
У Вас невероятная студия, это что то фантастическое для меня!!! Там можно экскурсии проводить))))!Столько всяких деталей, не зря говорят, комфорт в мелочах! А сколько у вас инструментов для работы и творения?!! Вы удивительный!!
Whoa, best studio ever! What an incredible space!
Happy days !
my oh my ... You are in paradise, your personal paradise!!! wish one day I have a place like yours! stay healthy and full of energy! Cheers
A beautiful studio Mate, I used to have a indoor studio like this but now I just paint plein air 95% of the time. Happy Painting Mate 🎨😊
Your art space is incredible! Every artists dream!
Andrew,
Not only is your artwork badass but you've done a killer job putting the videos together too. Thanks for all of it. I'll keep coming back!
Looking forward to the small studio video and more of your painting videos. You are a great teacher and a happy note in this difficult time. Thank you for all of it.
That hardware store is a dream! Studio is cool too.
Love love love! Your excitement is contagious!
Always delighted to get a new Andrew video!! Much needed this morning in the US.
Visiting your Gallery would be ultimate dream. Absolutely love your work
So wonderfully generous with your studio space & inventions ... encourages & excites me into moving forward ... thank you Andrew!
So organized ❤️🔥.... But the best thing is you do all the other stuffs 🔥🔥🔥
I just love seeing your awesome studio and shop! Beautiful and organized!
I love that you put so much time and effort into sharing your talents with your “fan club” out here! Thanks for all your videos and help.
Completely green with envy! Love your new studio - thank you for sharing.
You constantly amaze me! You are one hard working man. Thank you for being so generous with your time and talent!
Just further confirmation that you are BRILLIANT, Andrew! Not just another pretty face! Totally inspiring!
What a flex..... this man is a living master
Wow! What a studio. You should be very proud of all you have accomplished.
Andrew, your planning, ingenuity and artistic abilities are combining quite nicely. Such fun to watch all of this grow.
