- Sonam Kapoor Ahuja gave AD India a tour of her tasteful London townhouse and her impeccably decorated office space. The actor’s colourful home, located in west London’s fashionable Notting Hill, is a nod to her sense of style, her personality as well as her roots; “I think your home and your office are a massive reflection of who you are as a person.” The 36-year-old shares her love for de Gournay wallpaper and her passion for collecting work that reminds her of home, while also giving AD a quick (and sneaky) peek of her husband Anand Ahuja’s floor.

Well, the house looks like a house and not a museum unlike other celebrity homes. I like the selection of wall papers and Indian touch and detailing in her furniture. She's got a good taste when it comes to fashion and decor no doubt.

Loved Sonam's home, she is a creative passionate soul & rightly said by her " Home is the reflection of ones persona" . A home in Notting Hill is a absolute luxury, place of the rich n famous. It's honestly so relaxing to walk down the streets of Notting Hill & admire home one beautiful than the other.
It wouldn't be right to say you are in the wrong profession but I will say you have a talent for design! Every inch of space is so beautiful from the doors to your collection of beautiful decor and so much more!

I really love this home. It has character. I feel like most homes looks so similar now, but this home stands out.
You should see her new AD home tour. It is full of Indian art pieces. I promise you can't take your eyes of screen watching that video.
Wow ! She should be a designer. She has taste, and look at those colors man, she put most prettiest colours together. You get used to it and you learn to maintain your stuff. The thing is that expensive furniture and items are made to last provided you maintain them well.

That "naga table" isn't actually a table but a mortar. Those holes that you see are where you put the grains (or whatever) and you crush em with a long pestle. You'll find this kinda mortar and pestle in every village of Nagaland and even in the urban areas.

It’s amazing how much time and thought Sonam has put into each and every piece from wall coverings to lamps, it is probably the most artistic decor homes I have ever seen, so unique in style and yet so pleasing to the eye. I can understand why she wanted to bring in memories of India to feel close to home, a lot of us living overseas do that.

Her home and office seem so authentic to her; it doesn’t seem like she’s trying to fabricate a space or have things around her for the sake of having them around because it’s trendy. Its not easy to open your house for the fans and critics as its such a personal space.
But with this video, Sonam has humbly taken us through her house, yet shown her pride and joy for the work shes put into the interiors of her personal spaces in London over the past 2 years. Seems to be a new career prospect for Sonam in interior design. Also see how small the apartment is, but shes brought a lot of personality and liveability into it - example her bedroom which is tiny. Its a great video to give ideas to young couples who have tiny spaces to call their home. Lastly, you dont have to buy a vintage Pierre Jeanneret to copy her style - You can do your own styling - but this video provides great queues to freshen up your home like wallpapers, jewel themes, wall art, and use of timber, rattan and fabric for furniture.

I loved the office space more than the home interiors ! It's a personal choice. And I love light coloured walls/ wall papers that gives way to a lot of sunlight. Somehow the home interiors were nice but so dramatic and bright that it looked too dark for my choice. But I appreciate the effort she has put in and the thought behind each and every piece !

Exactly what I was thinking... This is more of museum than a home. In name of decoration rich peps seems to be hording branded stuff to an apartment.
Some people like having artistic walls. I do.
But I need spaces where there's a lot of natural light too. That seemed a little in short supply in the home area. But that's my requirement.

Aww she truly belongs to the air element in the zodiac, I love how excited and happy she was about it all. But one thing I felt was that she is a Bollywood artist, her profession is in India I wonder why she has got her office in London and also she got India related wallpapers to make her always feel home. If she's so homesick she can just come back n have it all here, but again, her life and she seems to be happy about it so no room for my opinion for sure.
This is the irony, people live abroad and they miss home, and when they come home, they miss abroad lol
