@fishingCOS. Im local to you. if you decide to get into fly fishing shoot me a message. I can tell you what flys have work for me locally and what time of year. Im No guide just a guy trying to catch fish.
It would be helpful if you mentioned what day of the week you are fishing. Thanks for the videos. The one thing that blew me away when I moved to COS was the total lack of local fishing spots.
I fish on the weekdays. Weekends are always packed with people and it is hard for me to find a spot and make a video when there are a lot of people. There's actually a good many fishing spots in and around Colorado Springs. This is why I made this channel. I was having a hard time finding spots myself at first.
Great video! I went to Rampart yesterday and only caught one rainbow on powerbait. There were a ton of fish swimming near the shores, but didn't want to chase anything, but one of the best views while fishing!
I will be making these types of videos during the winter months. I do have one video that shows two different rig setups. Not the best video so I will be making them over again.
Better off going over to Catamount or Crystal Creek res, less people and way more open spaces to fish without all the yahoos and weekend warriors out on the water. Or better yet, just take the extra time and go up to Elevenmile.
Great fishing ! I think i might head down there this weekend - by chance i would recommend a different way to gut your fish though, also that blood in the back spine is actually the fishes kidneys.
Thank you so much for your videos
God bless and have a blessed evening
Grace and Peace
Peter
thank you
Fall and winter is some of the best times to fly fish. Tight lines
Thank you for the tip!

Rampart is always busy. I love fly fishing lakes, but I'll only go to Rampartinb the middle of the week because of the crowds.
I typically always go fishing during the weekdays.

@@fishingCOS Good to know. I grew up in CA and my naive expectation was rivers and lakes were everywhere like in the Coors beer commercials LOL
Funny! I grew up in PA and my expectations where that EVERYONE in Colorado went skiing.
@@fishingCOS I guess fake news and disinformation aren't new things 😜
Nice video...enjoy Colorado!
Thank you and that’s for watching!!!
Ive been having luck with Berkeley mice tales on a dropper rig
What do you catch with that type of setup?
@fishingCOS rainbow trout mostly but then again I don't know the differences to well yet lol
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!!

It is beautiful there!
You should consider hiring a guide the first time you go fly fishing. It’s worth it! You should also consider ice fishing!
I'm considering both! Hoping to get a guide as a sponsor so if you know of one that wants a video, tell them about my channel.
How do you setup your line and what weight are you using?

I love your content and have been watching since I found your page a few months ago. How do I reach out to you about a spot I think you would like?
You can just tell me in the comments!
Is there any chance you can email me? It is a bit of a tricky spot to get to and requires some know how.
you can contact me through my main website www.coloradospringsvideo.com
@@fishingCOS I sent you an email. I look forward to hearing from you!

Thats the best reason to Fly Fish!!! Get away from people. Lakes and Res's end up being nothing but a huge mess!
Good point!

Thank you for watching. This is the way my family has done it for generations. Make a video on how you do it and I'll watch it.
