Ive fished there a bunch. Its close to where i live. Ive caught so many fish there. Used to see carp. Caught a muskie once. Pretty sure. Used to see river rats or something. Caught a horned toad. Used to have a dock on the garden of the gods side. Ive seen lots of crawdads. Also, i think you already had your mind made up before you even got there.

Well im a fan now. Wasn't real fond of quail lake. Seemed like there was a lot of stuff that my line got caught on.

Jared is my brother in law and is definitely a fish slayer, now just one thing the fish you couldn’t identify was a sand perch very good eating fish mostly a sifter, so it it’s small crustaceans ergo extraordinary white meat that is firm and you’d be amazed about the size of the fillets that come off those little fish

they just restocked this lake been catching 3lb trout every day

in my experience, the sacrifice of technology is needed to catch trout here haha. lost both a speaker and a phone to this lake. use spinners, jigs, and live bait.

Pueblo is a hard lake to fish if you pm me ill give you a few tips or secrets I use. Been fishing there for 31 years and still get skunked from time to time

If fishing for carp or catfish I like to go under the railroad track in the shallows. For bass my uncle and I fish from the boat. I think the best bait here is leaches for trout. For the Eye's we use bright colored rapalas. Good luck...fish there either bite or don't. Cut bait works well sometimes too. That why they call it fishin and not catchin. :)

South is closed due to dam repairs. Last year they removed the bag limit at south catamount and the reservoir was completely cleared out of fish. Hope you do a prospect video again soon!

You're not going to catch crap from shore in July, reservoir is full of bait fish at that time and they have more than enough to eat out deeper

You gave me and my wife a very nice area to fish at, we live in northern COS and since were both first responders we never have time to fish, but when we went here on memorial day weekend, we caught our limit to take home that we were willing to keep within 5 hours. It made for a nice day of fishing, so thank you so much for creating these videos.

I use lures and worms normally they work great

I live about 10 min from here. A good last minute fishing spot. Recommendation: fish at the dock on the west side, as there are schools of fish, mainly croppy and bluegill. They love eating grasshoppers and especially worms, but I've been here nearly 20 times now and have never gotten a touch on lures. Overall a good chill spot, never very busy.
