What a great dram. The Tamdhu indies I’ve had over the years have always been way above average. I really enjoy the whisky Tamdhu produces so I’m hoping I snapped this one up from K&L too. Hard to remember ten years ago but I’m pretty sure I did. Great stuff. Thanks for posting!!
Have had two independent bottles of Tamdhu that were from refill bourbon hogsheads. A 19 and 21. It sounds weird but the Tamdhu spirit aged that long in a quiet cask is really unique and wonderful. They were good prices too. Also had a Glengoyne 21 from a refill bourbon hogshead that was very obviously Glengoyne in character. Finding these kind of casks of distilleries that are known for sherry is really fun. Cheers
Tamdhu a super beautiful scotch. It's a gem 💎 of a dram. A beast with a velvety side. Love the tobacco notes and sandlewood. As always we appreciate your reviews. You guys are the best of the best. Cheers from sunny Miami

Recently K&L had vintage 2003 19 year old Macallan from G&M. By any chance did you get a bottle? If you did, please do a review if you can. I actually bought 12 bottles and I’d love to have your opinion on it. Thanks in advance!
@@ericw.hwangdds8603 I really like cask strength Macallans. Douglas Laing old & rare series is very good as well. I have 20 & 23 year old bottles from them.

Its always nice to get to know the ditillery with a bourbon cask even if they are known for sherry.

That’s funny. It was actually late 2022. Strange time to release it considering when it was bottled first.
