Thank you for this detailed explanation of these two products. I honestly prefer Eucerin Aquaphor (German aquaphor) for my eczema,thicker ointments are recommended -by my personal doctor-for eczema.
The lanolin in Aquaphor comes from sheep and some people have skin reactions to it so I buy the Cerave Healing ointment for slugging my face, and for my elbows.
Hello! I’ve only so far purchased the cerave healing ointment in the teeny twin pack of two .035 oz (chap stik size) but they’ve become impossible to find lately. I only bought this size because I’ve read so many reviews of how hard it is to push the thick product out of the larger (1.89, 3 & 5 oz) tubes and I don’t want to buy the tub. I was wondering if you’ve had any issues getting the Cerave ointment to easily dispense out of the tube without really having to put a lot of elbow grease into getting it out. (I have fibromyalgia, so I can’t squeeze very hard.) I’ve read some people complain that they had to squeeze so hard that the top of the dispenser actually cracked. I am hoping the reviews were just on some defective tubes and it’s not a problem with all of them but it does kind of make sense that a product that dick would have trouble dispensing out of a tube. Has this ever happened to you and if so, which size do you think is the easiest one to dispense product from? My guess would be the smallest 1.89 oz one, but it’s also as expensive as the 3 oz l one. Thank you so much!
"English Rose". Has anyone heard this term before? To me, as an American who's not even sure if that term is even real, in my mind a girl like this is an "English Rose."
could I use the cerave on my groin area post shave to prevent itchiness? There are so many different products I know I've got to be very careful what I apply on this area. I think the aquaphor might be a bit too thick. I've got the cerave moisturising lotion but im worried about applying that on my groin area I have quite sensitive skin. I'm concerned i might have a reaction. I also get chafing on my inner thighs.

I prefer CeraVe too. I use it as an under eye cream now to reduce fine lines. I still have Aquaphor though for my feet.

try the aquaphor healing balm
it comes in a thick stick, and is easy to apply without a mess, and seems easier to absorb in to the skin for me
Aveeno Eczema Therapy lotion has the same consistency as these two but a lot gentler.
