    I am new to designing cake toppers, but I really like them! I like the paper stripe, but I will try foam sheet. I like the way you explain things and that you do not have brightly colored nail polish which is very distracting. Thanks for your time!

    I have only tried the strips. I took a class and that was the only option. Now I have done shaker cards and I am familiar with both foam techniques. If i want a cuasi flat shaker I would use foam. I just love the clean paper strips though. Great tutorial!

      Thank you so much Sarah! Foam tape is the best place to start if you new to shakers. I try to do lives on insta so I can show you how to attach the stick. I use hot glue but it does depend what type of stick you have? 🥰

    Thanks for explaining and showing us. However, what’s the size of the circles?

      Your welcome. The main circle is 6 inches and you can make the frame circle by making a small circle about 4.5 inches and slicing. Use the inset feature to get the smaller stripe inside the circle frame. Hope this helps! Also there is a link in this description to a shaker svg by dinosaur mama which has the circles but may need resizing depending on your project 🥰

      No I am afraid not it won't be strong enough, also the machine would struggle to cut it. I actually use projector sheets you can find them on my Amazon shop 🤗

      If you just take two circles makes one slighter smaller and then slice you will have the main border and then use the inset tool in design space to make the tiny border inside 🥰
